Heavy mist covered the area; to the naked and untrained eye, it would be nothing but blur. That was the case for a Shinobi of the leaf. Naruto Uzumaki, the last of his blood, was still loyal to the leaf, a prison to the deadly and misunderstood. A nine-tailed fox The face of the boy showed terror and fear as he ran through the mist, unable to see or make out where he was going until he heard the scream of his friend through his surprisingly sharp ears. He quickly ran straight to where the scream came from, and as he went closer, he was finally able to see a dome made out of ice mirrors. Without a second, he jumped through the mirror, wanting to save his friend at all costs.

"Sasuke!" Naruto shouted as he finally saw Sasuke barely standing, blood dripping from various parts of his body.

"What the hell are you doing here, Dobe?!" Sasuke said, coughing up blood. "You idiot! The dome could have been destroyed from the outside."

Naruto was shocked, saddened, and a bit angered. He had come here to try and help Sasuke, but here he was getting scolded by him.

Haku was looking at the two of them, amused. 'Even though they both are about to die, they are fighting like this,' Haku thought, got his senbons ready, and threw them at Sasuke, who was busy scolding Naruto.

Naruto noticed the needles flying towards Sasuke. He quickly jumped in front of them, saving Sasuke. As the Senbon hit him, he fell to the ground, not moving.

"NARUTO!!" Sasuke shouted, seeing his teammate fall to the ground. He somehow moved and checked Naruto's breathing, but he felt nothing. "You, kil-" Sasuke was cut off as Haku came out of a mirror and kicked Sasuke away, slamming him into one of his ice mirrors.

"This is all your fault," Haku said, looking at Naruto's dead body. "I told you not to interfere with Master Zabuza." Haku picked up the dead body of Naruto and threw it into the water below before turning to Sasuke.

Sasuke looked as his only friend's body was thrown off the bridge. Tears in his eyes were his sharingan was actively burning this memory into his brain. The six tomes in each eye started spinning at great speed as he turned to glare at Haku with anger and rage. "I WILL BURN YOU ALIVE!" he shouted, and the next second, his eyes started hurting a lot, as if they were burning from the inside.

Haku screamed in pain and fell to the ground, a black flame covering his leg as it traveled up his body. His screams increased. "Forgive me, master," were the last words of Haku as he was burned to ash by the black flames.

Sasuke looked at the spot where Haku was just a second ago in shock before he too screamed in pain, finally registering the pain as the adrenaline left his body. He then passed out as the pain became too much for him to handle.

Kakashi was worried a lot for his students. He had seen Naruto running to the dome to save Sasuke. He had heard the screams of Sasuke and Haku right now. He could do nothing but assume the worst had happened as he faced off against Zabuza, who was currently held down by his dog summons.

"I think we both know this is the end. Zabuza, do you have any last words?"

"Just do it," Zabuza scoffed.

Kakashi sighed and ran towards Zabuza.

"Farewell, Demon of the Mist," said Kakashi before hitting him right through the chest with his Chidori.

Kakashi quickly pulled back his hand and closed Zabuza's still-open eyes before running to where the dome of ice was. There, he saw Sasuke on the ground, unconscious, with Sakura crying on his chest and Tazuna standing beside her, not knowing what to do.

"Sakura! Where is Naruto?" Kakashi asked while checking Sasuke's heartbeat and breathing.

"I don't know; I didn't see him." Sakura said she was trying to control her crying.

Kakashi grew worried after hearing that if anything happened to Naruto, he would never be able to forgive himself, and not only that, but the leaf would lose its strongest weapon, the nine tails.

'Forgive me, sensei, Kushina san'

Kakashi picked up Sasuke in his arms and took him to Tazuna's house. "Sasuke only has chakra depletion, but it's quite severe," he explained to Sakura, who only grew even more worried.

"Will he be okay?" She asked but didn't let him answer and asked another question: "What about Naruto? Are we not going to look for him?"

It is true that Sakura disliked Naruto, but she would never want him to be hurt or worse because they were a team after all.

'I am useless... All three of them did everything while I just stood behind them like a scaredy cat, and now one of us is mostly likely dead. Sakura was worried and hating herself at the same time.

"We will, but first we need to make sure Sasuke is okay. While I do want to believe that Naruto is okay, as a ninja, we need to think of the worst-case scenario as a true one if we don't have enough proof." Kakashi explained to Sakura, who nodded.

"Damnit! Come on, work! work!  I don't want him to  die." Came a voice

In the deep waters of Nami no Kuni, Naruto was bleeding and was extremely close to dying, if not for the nine tails trying to save him, but even that wasn't working as the blonde continued to bleed and drown even deeper.

Yin-Yang release: Difride!" There came a gentle yet somewhat sinister voice from even a deeper part of the water, and before Kurama could react to try and save Naruto from whomever was deep in the water, something shot into Naruto.

Naruto glowed dark blue for a second before the glow died out and his wound slowly healed. He slowly opened his eyes.

"Do not fear me, Kurama, for I am an ally." Said Naruto in the same gentle yet sinister tone, a red glowing symbol appeared on the back of Naruto's right hand.

The symbol appears to be a stylized, symmetrical design in red consisting of a central circle with curved, flame-like or wave-like extensions around it. Below the circle is a triangular shape pointing downward, adorned with small triangular "teeth" along the bottom edge.

"Who are you?" Kurama growled, unable to understand how somebody took control of Naruto's body like this.

"I told you I am an ally," the person said through Naruto's body before it swam away somewhere.

It had been a few hours since everyone returned to Tazuna's home, with everyone sitting by the living room waiting for Sasuke to wake up so he could tell them what happened. The only one not present was Kakashi, who had left to look for Naruto.

"Sasuke-Kun....." Sakura said in a gentle voice while holding his hand.

A hand came and rested on Sakura's shoulder. She looked up to see Tsunami Tazuna's daughter, who had a soft and gentle look in her eyes.

"I know how you are feeling right now, Sakura-San. I felt similar to what you are feeling whenever Kaiza used to come home after fighting with Gato's  thugs." She explained, "But you have to be strong."

Sakura silently nodded at that before looking to the side to see Inari, who had poked her leg.

"Where is Naruto Nii?" Is he okay? Did something happen to him?"

"I don't know; I never saw him. Kakashi-Sensei is right now out there looking for him."

Right then, the door slammed open. Sakura quickly stood up, going in front of Inari and Tsunami in case this was an enemy, but she dropped her Kunai, and she herself dropped to the ground when she noticed who was at the door.

Kakashi stood at the door, wet from head to toe, with blood on his Jonin Flak Jacket and a blooded headband in his left hand.

Tbh I don't have any excuses as to why I wasn't writing this I just couldn't bring myself to write this I even changed the plot a lot and so there will be no Sasuke or Sakura bashing
