Chapter Three

"Hey you didn't eat with us!" Kiba tells you as you walked down the hall along with Hinata and another senior that was named Shino. "Sorry, I was getting some book advice from Professor. Kakashi and I got lost on the way to the cafeteria so he just ended up heating my food and I ate in the hall." You tell him as you stick your hands out to him, wanting to carry Akamaru again. Kiba blushes a bit and gives you the little puppy once again. You begin to pet the skin he has behind his ears and notice how much he loved it. You also nuzzle onto his nose and land a last kiss on his head along with a hug. "A-ka-ma-ru!" You say with your playful cute voice and notice Kiba look away from you. Giving the little guy back to Kiba, you begin to part ways from the two guys and head on towards the parking lot with Hinata, as it was the end of your school day.

"So Hinata, how far do you live from here?" You ask her curiously since you had already offered yourself to take her to her home since she walks everyday. She was your first friend and you liked her very much so of course you wouldn't let her walk. "Ah just about 15 minutes from here walking so about 5 in car...I think..." Hinata says lowly, causing you to laugh at her. "Have more confidence Hinata!" You say, receiving a simple blush from her. As you were on the stairs to exit the school, the guy you had seen earlier waves towards you and Hinata.

"Hey Hinata!" Naruto shouts ad runs over to you guys. "Thanks for lending me your notebook to copy on what I missed out." He says a he smiles at her and scratches his neck. "No problem." She stutters before Naruto then says his goodbyes and heads on over to wherever he was going. You give Hinata a certain look and push a bit her shoulder. "Since what grade have you been liking that guy?" You asked her, receiving an embarrassed look from her part. "Kindergarten..." She says, causing your eyes to widen in shock. "What? Oh my God, ask him out Hinata. I'm sure he can return the feelings if you go out on a date or two if he doesn't already have them."

"But he already likes Sakura..." You begin to think or who Sakura could've been and shrink at your bad memory. "The pink haired girl." She notices, causing you to grin widely. "Ah but Sakura is with Sasuke! He has no chance in coming between those two from what I've seen." You tell her, trying to give her at least a bit of confidence. She scratches her head a bit as you arrive at the car and see her furrow her eyebrows. "How do you know about them Sasuke and Sakura?" She asks curiously and I laugh a bit, remembering what I talked about with Professor. Kakashi.

"Well Kakashi was giving me warnings about students around here. He sure is blunt." You say as you replay the sentence of 'idiots' in your head. "But he talked very well about you and an older cousin of yours that graduated last year. Said you were both exceptional." She smiles with a small blush and nods quietly. Once you get in the car, you quickly fasten your seatbelt and turn it on, hearing it's engine. "By the way, I wanted to tell you that beginning tomorrow I'll be staying t school taking some after classes in English. I asked him for some advice and we ended up on terms to stay after school until 3:30 to practice different writings." You tell her as you made way towards her house that was closer to yours. You had seen other students walk to their homes but you really didn't want to be public bus. The only other people you would offer yourself to was Kiba and perhaps Shino if you get to know him.

As you were driving down the roads, Hinata was giving you directions to where to go and everything was going smoothly. You really did enjoy her company and was glad that she was the one that became your first friend. So far, you could definitely say that this first day was a success. "This is it." She says, facing you in gratitude. Your mouth gaped open at the sight of her house, being huge. It was a white house of three floors with a huge terrain that was mowed beautifully.

"Would've been nice to know that you were rich Hinata!" You tell her, causing her to shake her head and smile at you.

"That's not it, it's a family. The Hyuga clan's house. So as big as it seems, it still has many people in it. Including my cousin Neji." You nod at her explanation, understanding well. She begins to get down of the car and says her goodbyes to you.

"See you tomorrow Hinata!" You say, seeing her nod and enter her home. You drive away towards your house and as you do, you spot Naruto, Sasuke and Sakura together laughing. You smile and begin to hope that could happen with you, Kiba and Hinata. You really liked them both even though they have completely different personalities. But even though they do, you believed you could make a good combination. Hinata the shy one, Kiba the outgoing one and you were the in between.

Driving home, you begin to get excited to head on to the book store Hinata had mentioned to you that was just a few minutes away from your apartment. You specifically had $80.00 set aside to buy a book of each genre. Hinata also told you that there was poetry nights every Monday and since you really wanted to get good at it, you were planning to hear some of them out along with a coffee. You were hoping Hinata would go with you since she was the one who had mentioned it but apparently she was supposed to go to the hospital tonight to watch a surgery process.

As you arrive to your apartment, you do the usual of parking, getting down, checking your mail box and go up to your room. When you get there, you begin to question what to wear. You bite your inner cheek and think about a soft white scarf you have. You pulled it out of a white hanger you had along with a grey coat. And seeing it, you enjoy the combination and pull it out and lay them on the bed. Then you grab some normal dark blue skinny jeans and black metallica like boots.

Now for the shirt...

You begin to scavenge in your drawers seeing all types of crop tops and long sleeved buttoned shirts but nothing else. Sighing in frustration, tou slap the drawers and begin to internally cry.

I have no clothes!

But as you slapped the clothes, your hand felt one soft tee and as you looked at it, you shrug and just throw it onto the bed. It was a simple white shirt but since you were gonna use a stylish coat, you just were gonna go with it. It's not like you were gonna see anyone you know there. You kinda felt like the people at your school weren't much for books. You could actually sense that they hate them, and called every single genre boring. And because of it, you thought they were all small minded. Scientists have proved that students that read more are excellent. Due to the expansion of vocabulary along with getting to know many different things.

You went into the shower and prepared for the fine night you were just about to have. You also decided to use some makeup but not to full on out. You enjoyed using makeup sometimes, not excessively like some girls that can't get out of their house without it. A poetry night was gonna very healthy for you and since you had some nice clothes, makeup woulda also made you feel good. Once you finished, you started heading out since it was 6:09. The activity begins at 8:00 but you knew it would take a while to grab books of each genre that interested you.

Stirring up the engine of your car, you begin to think and furrow your eyebrows at the thought.

I'll walk instead since it's just about five or ten minutes away according to Hinata.

You quickly slip out of the car, put your hands in your pocket and walk over out of the apartment's parking lot. You breathe in the night's cold air and smile slightly, wishing you could go on walks with your parents once again. Shaking your head, you look up at the sky that had a sunset's beautiful colors. It was such a pleasant view. You're glad you decided to walk, being able to appreciate the town and sky and trees and everything around you. The town seemed to be a bit old fashioned. Since there were some kiosks that were selling foods.

It was refreshing in all honesty because they were all hard workers, just like your parents. You didn't have a lot of money, just always comfortable. But that doesn't mean your parents didn't give it their all. You start remembering the directions that Hinata had given you as you spot a restaurant titled "Ichiraku" which was supposed to be in front of the book store. As you shift your glances, there you spot the shop "Book Worms". Smiling in content, you quickly head on excitedly and as you entered, you see countless bookcases. There wasn't not a single inch of the plain wall in sight due to all of the bookcases. It wasn't huge but it had the perfect size. And in the center was the café that you barely really looked at since everything else really had your attention. There was also many comfortable looking couches since it was a sit and read book store. You take out a list you had written with your English teacher and spot all of the genres listed.

Science fiction, Drama, Action and Adventure, Romance, Mystery, Horror, Self help, Children's, Religion, Science, Poetry, Comics, Biographies, Autobiographies and Fantasy.

Seeing them, you then head on to the Science fiction's area in excitement. You also noticed that the place didn't have many people but as you expected, the small amount of people were strangers. As you got to the section you wanted, you look at the grand area and felt like you were in heaven. Many people teased you over this but it was your passion. And if you don't judge those people that are crazy obsessed with animes and fictional characters then they nor anyone should judge you. Looking around all of them, you began to read many summaries but none of them actually interest you. Sighing in a bit of disappointment, you shrug and close your eyes, letting your hand pick one mysteriously. Since it was a bit empty, you gave a couple of circles and just reach out towards whatever side of the bookcase it was but instead felt a soft piece of cloth. Curious, you continue touching it and trying to feel around it until you feel some squarish things.

Your eyes shoot open as your heart races and you see the fairly tall grey haired man that works at your school place. His eyes were looking down on you in curiosity as you blushed deeply. Now it's that you realize that you were touching his strong abdomen. "Ah! I'm sorry, the place was a bit empty and I couldn't decide which book I'd like so I just gave some turns and tried to pick one mysteriously." You say, ending up without some breath. You sigh trying to catch your breath and hear him chuckle lightly. "That's fine. Nice to see you here, (Y/N)." He says as you spot his eyes grinning. Seeing that you can't decide, he looks around the area and slips one book out quickly. "Here, I liked this one. It was pretty interesting." Kakashi says as he hands out a book at you that's titled as Snow Crash. "Thank you..." You whisper a bit.

You cock an eyebrow at the book curiously and read it's summary. You laugh a bit at the protagonist's description and take the book happily. "Seems funny." You say before looking up at your teacher, who had just disappeared. Looking around you confusedly, you spot him heading on to the romance area and follow his tracks. "Hey you could've said something, walking away suddenly is rude too!" You tell him, seeing as he doesn't have manners at all. As you said so, you crossed off the area you were just in from the list and look up at him. He sees the list nonchalantly with a tiny bit of surprise. "Working on that already aren't you?"

"Yeah. I wanted to read some books to get a better feel of each genre. Starting from zero." You say as you looked around the area before speaking once again. "Even though I focus on romance and adventure." You say with a small smile, knowing how much you enjoy writing so much. "Ah, I expected as much." He says as he goes onto the adult area which said 18+ of romance. Grabbing a John Green book, you follow him once again. He turns around and looks down on you. "Aren't you a bit too young for this section?" You furrow your eyebrows and roll your eyes at him. "I'm 18 years old y'know." You tell him, making him be a bit surprised. "I entered school late because I had bad asthma when I was a kid. Was always stuck in the hospital." He nods in understanding and doesn't stop your tracks. "Eighteen huh?" You hear a mumble from him but didn't understand his words. "What?"

"I didn't say anything."

Shrugging, you look around the area and check out the books that were there. You needed another one of them so you could learn how to write them. "Which one would you suggest this time?" You ask him, receiving a bit of a nervous chuckle. "Ah you don't need to learn how to write one of these...or do you?" A blush creeps onto your cheek as you shrug while looking away. "I was kinda looking forward to it..." You say as he nods in understanding. "So a pervert you are." He says, causing your eyes to widen. You slap his arm and shake your head fast. "Of course I'm not! I just want to be a good writer. You're the one with the weird book!" You says as you huff away at him. "Speaking of which, don't buy one of these. You can just use Make Out Paradise for reference." He says, causing your mouth to gape open.

So that's what Make Out Paradise is about...

Your heart begins to race at the thought of staying late in the teacher's classroom with him, reading such a lewd book with him. You were questioning whether things were gonna get awkward or interesting between the two of you. Being normal didn't even cross your mind. Feeling a bit uncomfortable with yourself, you move your legs repeatedly and Kakashi notices. "You alright?" He asks, causing you to stop instantly. "I'm fine." You quickly say, trying to push away the blush.
