Chapter 18

Naruto's Point of View

We walked till we reached Hokage's building. I needed to tell granny about everything that happened and that would mean a full description. And again about Naeko. I sighed. It will be best if she waits outside and comes only when I have told everything to granny Tsunade.

"Ummm... Naeko, will you please wait here and come when I call you? There's a list of things I have to report and I don't want anything to go wrong..." I paused, "ummm... you understand right? " I looked at her hopefully.

" yes , of course ... I don't mind at all, just get some sollution will'ya? " she didn't look at me while speaking.

"Wakata!"

I went inside and to the upper level of the building. Tsunade sama should be in her ofice right now, if am not wrong.

After a minute or so, I was standing outside her office and entered without knocking. I had to make this quick.

"Granny Tsu- "

She was not alone. Gaara was with her as well. They were discussing something but my interruption made them hault.

"N- NARUTO!!!!"

Not again. Not right now. puh-lease!

"How many do I have to tell you to knock before you come in! And what's with 'granny' thing all the time-"

"So then , I will be taking my leave now." Gaara said, as if nothing had happened.

"Eh-? oh... yes, but I will sayh it again, you are the Kazekage, youh don't need to do this on your own. You can have someone else do this..." Granny said.

"No. I will do this myself. I don't trust anyone else that much, with his strength, specially not him. Plus I am doing this for my friend." he emphasized on the last word andas he said it he looked at me.

"heh? What's going on?" I didn't know but I still grinned back at him. After all he was just like me. Grew up without any friends and being hated by every villager. At first he was surrounded by darkness but somehow , I knew it tha he'll make through. and look, now he's the Kazekage of Suna.

He walked past me, his red hair had grown a little much longer. He looked better this way.

Anyways, I had to report to granny soon and come up with a solution.

"Tsunade sama...." and on and on I kept babbling.

Naeko's Point Of View

I couldn't just keepl standing there so I decided to g sightseeing , maybe ge to have a chat with some of my favourite characters? This thought made me so excited that for a split second, I forgot everything and went roaming about here and there. And soon I found myself lost.

"Shit! Where did I come from?" I looked around but didn't recognise even a single thing. Walking alittle bit slowly now, I found myself in the training ground. And yes, there were people practicing. Tenten , Neji and Lee.

"eeeeeep! I get to see neji-sama in real!" my heart started to race.

Without making slightest noise, so as not to disturb them, I crept to there side . They did notice me and stopped to lok at me.

"What? Keep on practicing .. am just here to watch you guys...." I said and thought " specially neji!" and giggled.

They didn't even say anything and continued. What the hell! That was just courtesy! Tbey should atleast ask me something!

"Ahem"

No one noticed.

"Ahem, Ahem..." aha, atlast! , " I'm new here.. and am lost. Can you show me around?"

"FIVE THOUSAND AND FIVE HUNDRED! " Lee shouted and then jumped in front of me. " Hi pretty lady. " he said and took my hand into his and kneeled down. " I just completed my training and am free.. I can show you around..." and he kissed my hands.

I turned red.

"LEE!!! " Tenten said and hit him hard on his head.

"Ow Ow Ow..." and Neji pulled him back.

"Hi , I am Tenten...! And he's Lee. The one with long blak hair is Neji." she said and shook my hand.

"nice to mee ya'all...!" I greeted them. And grinned, who doesn't know them...

"we'll show you around...don't worry!" and then we headed back from where I came.

All along the way, Tenten kept holding my hands and I treaded along with her. She was so full of energy that she babble about some place and even before finishing telling me about it, she would run to some other place and start on with it.

We'll, I can say I was happy here. More happier than I was in the other world, after all, I belong here.

Lee sometimes kept interrupting Tenten and was only welcomed with a fist. On the other hand Neji just kept behind us without uttering even a single word.

Sigh.

Just what you expect him to be.

After a few more minutes , we slowed down a bit. Its because I wasn't able to keep up with her and she noticed it.

"Are you tired?" she asked me.

I nodded.

"Oh, then you should have told me...! "

Walking for about the last one hour, my feet had started to hurt and I was hungry as well. Looking around I found someone familiar.

" Hey tenten... who's that girl with long blond hair? She looks pretty attractive plus she's shouting at her friend!" I said and giggled.

She looked to where I was pointing and exclaimed. "Oh! INO! Ino! Come here for a bit will ya?"

So, Ino made her way towards us with Chouji and Shikamaru at her tails.

"Oh hio Tenten -san! " she greeted her.

" Ino.. why the hell were you shouting at Chouji?" she asked.

"Oh just that he wants to keep eating and eating and we are almost out of our budgets." ino said and sighed.

"Then why don't you come along? I would treat you all at Ichiraku's!" I said all of a sudden and smiled.

Then Ino and her group noticed me for the first time.

"HAAAIIIINNNN!!!!!" Chouji and Ino shouted with excitement.

"well, yeah sure! I will treat all of you!"

"Arigato ! " she said and then paused, glared at me and then continued, "But who are you?"

I chuckled. Oh.

"She's new here and very kind, as you can see...!" Lee said." so let's go!"

" Sheesh..How troublesome.." and that was Shikamaru.

And without any further enquiry , they started moving. I stayed behind them and kept looking at my purse nervously. I was surely gonna be short of money. Why the hell did I say that I will treat all of them? Aargh....

*Sulk*

Once we reached the Ichiraku Ramen shop, everyone stopped outside just to discuss what they are gonna eat.

I took a last look at my wallet and sighed. It can't be helped now.

As I waited for everyone to decide their menu, I saw someone already at the shop. My eyes grew bigger. Yes! My favourite character! Finally!

I ran and hugged her from behind and shouted , " Hinata chan!"

But, oops... that was a mistake. Knowing how shy she is and how easily scared, you can imagine how she yelped and the whole ramen bowl fell on her...

"Hinata are you okay?!" Kiba said standing up.

I flushed.

Everyone gathered around me and I felt ashamed. "Gomain na sai ... gomain .. gomain..!" I kept saying and bowing in front of everyone. Ahh...what did I do? "Gomain,gomain!"

"N-no...its okay " Hinata said in her tiny, cute voice.

"Seriously?" I smiled and looked relief.

"Uh.." she nodded.

"Sorry about that.. I will treat you to Hinata chan!" I said and it felt like something hit in my stomach. Seriously? Me? gonna pay for all of 'em? and a wierd smile crept on my face.

"Hmmnn...but how do you know her?" suddenly someone said coming behind me. He scared me. I turned around slowly to look at the person.

"Who- who- Sh-Shino! You scared me to death!" Shino was standing just behind me. when did he get there I don't know.

Now evefyone was even more suspicious of me... damn I made another mistake !

"How d'ya know them? I thought you said you were new here?" Tenten eyed me suspiciously.

Shit! I was sweating now. Damn, why do I sweat at times like this?! C'mon..think of something...really fast..

"Umo..ummnn..." I staggered, think! " Naruto told me about them!"

Oops. Did I say the right thing? well... we will see.

"Naruto??" everyone was shocked.

Then Hinata looked at me with a kind of sad smile. She looked melancholic. "Ummn...ummn.." she said still looking at the ground and clutching her hands at the sides of her top. " umnn... Why are you in Naruto kun's dress?"

heh? what was she talking about? I looked at my dress and then to Hinata and then again at my dress. Everyone was so shocked at something. What?

A dress is a dress. How does it matter who wears it? I mean-

Shit! No... I cried.

"No No No!!! Its definetly not what you all are thinking, seriously...! " I looked at everyone. No one was ready to believe me. I am not Naruto's girlfriend! " Hinata chan, seriously , its not what you think.. he is all yours. Keep him!"

"Huh?" she turned all red and shaked as if gonna faint.

Shit! Why am I saying all these stupid things!

"Come to think of it, we still don't know your name...and you know all of us!" Ino said.

Ah , this girl. She's gonna get me stuck.

*Sigh

"I guess it can't be helpe-"

Boom!

"W-what!" I said as something around us got dislocated. It was all sandy there. I couldn't see.

"Sasuke kun!" ino cried.

Sasuke? I looked around and saw him. But he was not the one fighting. He was resisting. I could tell that he didn't want to hit anyone. But who the hell was attacking him?

I looked to the opposite side and saw him. My stomach swirled with a weird feeling.

Gaara..." my lips moved on their own. He looked at me and our eyes locked for a second or so but he paid no attention.

" Even though you came to 5th hokage yourself, claiming that you will destroy Akatsuki and that you know some of the stuffs that were not meant for you to know and that you no more hold any grudge against this village," Gaara said and paused " we couldn't help not trusting you.! " he said and attacked.

"no! " I shouted. I could see something that Sasuke was trying to hide. What was it... I focused my eyes and realised what it was.

" I tols the hokage that I will keep an eye on you andi was right in doing so..." Sasuke again dodged his sand " what were you doing in that building, sneaking? What weapon did you take?" Gaara asked him.

Then I realised that he took that thing from wherever he broke in. Damn! I gotta do something. Sasuke shouldn't have done it!

"Wait! " I shouted and went toards Sasuke.

"He has changed! Dont hurt him! He meant no harm... I guarantee you that!"

"How do we know that?! He has only caused us harm!" Kiba shouted.'"And btw who are you to say that? We don't even know you!"

" I - I can prove you...!" damn it... don't take a wrong decision this time... please...!

I took Sasukes hand in mine and faced the others. Sasuke was as usual , not showing any emotions but I knew that even he was feeling shocked. But whatever I was doing..he didn't resist. He knew I was doing it for his sake. "We are friends... " I paused. "Special friends...and this will prove that he has deinitely changed..." And I did it.

His lips felt warm on mine. He didn't react but kinda did kiss me back.

Even with my eyes closed, I could feel everyones eyes on me. Definitely shocked.

After we parted, I turned towards everyone. " My name is Naeko. Uzumaki Naeko." I said and smiled.
