Tobirama x Uzumaki reader / Part 2
(Y/n)'s POV
The sun was at the top of the sky shining like always. The day was perfect for a small walk around the village. It was perfect to see what's going on around this place.
I let Mito at the Hokage's tower before I went to explore the city. People were walking everywhere. Shopping, working, kids playing in the streets. It was like this village was always like that. It was like everyone in this place knew each other for a long time. It was a perfectly new start.
It reminded me of my home, of the way I grew up. I always had people around me supporting me and giving me all their love. They always had great expectations from me. They wanted me to succeed, to be the first and only one that will bring glory all over the Uzumaki family. They loved me. They loved me way too much that in the end I had to try harder and not disappoint them, because if I did I wouldn't be able to face them again.
Suddenly, I heard water falling and I was brought back to reality. I looked around me noticing that I wasn't in the village anymore. I had gotten so lost in my thoughts that I ended up entering the forest that was all around it. I don't know how long I have been walking, but I was standing on the top of a waterfall. There were many tall trees all around it with various flowers too. The atmosphere made your guard fall and the sound of water falling made you relax. It was amazing.
-"Do you like it?"
Suddenly, I heard a voice saying surprising me. I immediately turned at that direction in a fighting posture ready to face whoever was there. When I saw who it was I let my body relax and a sign left my lips.
-"Were you following me, Tobirama?"
-"Yes. Hashirama and Mito had to discuss some things alone so I had to leave, but before that Mito asked me to come and find you so she can be sure that you are safe." he explained as he walked near me.
-"That girl..." I mumbled as I signed knowing very well that she is trying to pair me with him in an attempt to settle down.
I watched him pass me and going near the water. He sat at the end of the cliff facing the breathtaking view that the tall waterfall was giving us. I examined him for a little not being sure of what was going on. I heard a lot of bad things about him. Saying that he is rude, cold and doesn't care about anything else except his family. He is selfish, has a low temper and is a bloody thirsty ninja. Yet, right now, I am seeing a man calm as water wanting some company and someone to talk to.
-"Did they not teach you that staring is rude?"
Once that question left his lips my cheeks blushed as I looked away. I didn't answer, because I knew that fighting back wasn't going to end up in my favor. So I approached him and sat beside him leaving some distance between us. I focused my attention on the view in front of us so I could calm down and before I knew it I was completely relaxed.
-"This view is fascinating." I mumbled with a soft smile.
I didn't receive an answer but I wasn't waiting for one either. Staying like that was more than enough for both of us. It was like we enjoyed each other presence. It was like the only thing we needed was someone standing there giving us hope that we aren't alone in this.
We stayed there for hours, but it only felt like minutes. The sun started going down and the moon was slowly rising up. We were here so many hours that before I knew it my stomach started growling. I was so embarrassed that I just held my stomach and looked away trying to ignore what had just happened.
-"Let's go." Tobirama said as he stood up.
-"I will buy you food."
-"Thank you!" I said as I stood up immediately.
We started walking slowly and in silence towards the village. It was quiet just like before, but this time the silence felt different, like words were meant to be heard but nothing was happening. I tried to ignore it and just continue following him, since I didn't know how to get back. And soon we reached the village. We returned to those busy streets full of people and children. We found a small shop that made ramen. We sat there and ordered our food eating it in silence as people were staring at us in wonder.
-"Ignore them." Tobirama told me aware of what I was thinking.
I didn't answer. I just looked at him, nodded and continued my food. I wanted to talk to him, but I couldn't with all those people around me. So I waited. I waited until we finished eating. I waited until we started walking away from all those people. I waited until we were alone. And once I got the chance I talked to him with no hesitation.
-"Why are you so nice to me?"
The question left my mouth without thinking. I wanted to learn what was going on. This atmosphere, his behavior, the day that pasted. Somehow all that didn't make sense to me. All that was confusing me.
-"I am not nice. I am just helping you adjust here." he answered without caring to look at me.
-"There is more." I told him making him stop.
-"I am very well trained for every possible situation. Trained for fights, for political matters, along with studying people. Yet, I can't understand what you are doing. Is this a trap? Do you want to kill me? Are you planing to steal the Kyuubi from me?"
I showered him with questions. I was dead serious about this. My childish self was nowhere to be found. This was a serious situation and I needed to act seriously too.
-"I am not trying to do any of this." he answered as he turned around to face me.
-"I just thought you were interesting and I wanted to learn more about you, but at the end we didn't talk at all."
-"We can talk now."
I didn't receive any answer after that. We were just looking in each other's eyes. His red ones piercing my (e/c) ones. It somehow felt nice. I don't know why, but under his gaze everything seemed right, every problem had disappeared, every person had vanished. It was just us. Just the two of us.
It felt nice.
Then I felt something flying at my way and without thinking twice I moved to the side to avoid it. There, on the ground now, was a shiriken. My eyes immediately turned to fox's as I started scanning the area. I felt so stupid for letting myself down even for a minute. It was a bad idea for the beginning to even agree to be with this man, let alone follow him around the city. This could be a trap made by him and only him.
-"Watch out!"
I didn't have time to react when I saw a kunai coming my way. I was ready to take the hit, but then a sword got in the way blocking the attack. I look at the owner of the sword seeing that it was no other than Tobirama himself protecting me.
-"We are probably surrounded." he said as his eyes went all over the place.
I immediately gave a better look around me with my eyes and started counting the people that were hiding in the shadows.
-"They are around 23-26. All ready to attack at once." I informed him as I took out two kunais.
-"You take that side I will take this one." he told me getting ready to attack.
-"Very well. We talk later." I said as I got ready as well.
We waited until we saw the first person move. Then we attacked. Our weapons sliced everything and everyone leaving many dead bodies behind. We were moving fast not able to stop but we weren't willing to do it either. And after a little everything finished. There were two persons standing in the middle of the fight with their weapons being full of blood along with their clothes. I and Tobirama were the only survivors. Not that I expected anything else.
-"Seems like I am a target." I announced with a sigh as I cleaned my weapons on the fabric of my clothes.
-"Seems like it." Tobirama said as he was checking then trying to understand from which clan they were.
-"At least you are safe as long as I am here."
-"I don't need any protection!" I told him as I crossed my arms offended.
-"If it wasn't for me that kunai would have hit you." he told me as he stood up to look at me.
-"That's because of you!"
-"How is that my fault?"
-"You made me leave my guard down! You stared at me with your red eyes making me feel nice! I was enjoying it way too much so I lost track of everything else around me! So it's your fault!" I shouted at him annoying.
Once I understood what I had just said my eyes widen and my cheeks became red out of embarrassment. On the other has Tobirama was looking at me amazed, as he was enjoying this, as he was waiting for that answer.
-"Good. At least I know you feel the same way." he told me as he walked near me.
-"Because that's how I feel when I look at you. I can't explain it more, but when I stare in your eyes it's like that's where I belong, with you."
I didn't know how to react. I wanted to calm him an idiot, arrogant and out of his mind man, but I couldn't. I couldn't do it because that was exactly how I felt. That was exactly what was happening between us.
I took a deep breath as I stepped closer leaving no space between us. Our eyes staring intensively in each other's searching for something more to share than just a look. Our bodies wanted so bad to touch each other's, to become one under the moonlight. However, the most amazing thing about all of that was the fact that we didn't need to say anything. A gaze, a look and we were already in each other's mind. We were one.
-"You are mine." he finally said as he couldn't hold himself anymore.
His hands pulled my face closer to his making us share our first kiss. It didn't last much but it was enough for our souls to calm down and become one. We were there, under the moonlight, starting our relationship. We were starting out future. A future with each other.
A new life.
.....
The end.
