Suigetsu's POV

I knew what I was doing. I knew what was waiting for me after this. However, I didn't regret a bit putting my unthinkable and evil plan in action. An empty shoe box that was filled with water bombs and was wrapped by a blue ribbon, which if it was pulled, it would trigger the bombs making them explode. Of course in order to make it more believable, I also wrote a note and stuck it on top of it. Such a well taken care of plan for my dear teasing buddy (Y/n).

I waited patiently outside her room as a big grin was painted on my lips. We used to tease each other a lot though jokes and pranks. We didn't have any limits as long as no one died. So we always ended up doing something to anger and annoy each other. It was our thing. A thing that only we could do to each other.

The sound of her bathroom door opening and closing won my attention. I heard her footsteps walk to her bed and stop. I am sure that she was looking at the box, that I had put on top of it. She is probably examing it before taking further actions, knowing very well that it was placed there by me.

-"Dear (Y/n),..." she started reading out loud the note that I had written.
-"I wanted to tell you that I am sorry for picking up on you all the time. So take this little gift in an attempt of reconsidering your hatred towards me and probably accepting my love as well...."

I giggled quietly as I listened to her. This was sounding more real than I had thought. So real that it convinced her entirely to open the box in front of her. This made the bombs explode immediately and soak her entire body. My loud and crazy laugh was heard in every corridor and room as I run away from there. It was a cold-hearted thing to do, but I didn't regret it at all. It was so much fun and things would get much more enjoyable when (Y/n) will start chasing me all around the hideout in an attempt of killing me or at least injuring me.

Surprisingly, nothing happened. She never came out of her room to chase me. She never opened the door or even said anything. It was quiet. No matter what I said to provoke her she didn't react. It was as if she had disappeared. I walked back to her room concerned that something may have happened to her. The bombs weren't strong enough to kill anyone. So her dieing wasn't even a possibility, but that wasn't enough to calm down my worried mind.

I kicked the door open as I took out my sword expecting an attack or something from her. However, nothing happened. I started searching the room for her. Soon enough I found her small body sitting on the floor as her knees were close to her chest and her head buried inside them. She didn't bother to lift her head to look at me or give me the slightest of attention. She sat there breathing heavily as her cheeks seemed to have a red color.

-"Are you crying?!" I asked her shocked as I lowered my sword.

I couldn't believe my eyes. There was no way that she would cry. Not so easily. This had to be some kind of trap or something. There was no way something so stupid would make a girl like her cry. However, when her teary (e/c) eyes looked at me, I felt myself freaking out even more. She was indeed crying and it looked like she was hurting too.

-"Go away." she mumbled before wiping her running nose and hiding her face once again.

-"Who are you and what have you done to (Y/n)?" I asked her still surprised with the sight in front of me.

She didn't reply. She just sat there crying as I continued staring at her. I didn't know what to do. I wasn't used to comforting others. Especially not the crying ones. I scratched my head awkwardly as I tried my best to come up with something to help out the situation, but nothing really came up, since all we ever did was to pull pranks to each other and laugh after them. She had never cried.

-"Did I upset you?" I asked her as I tried to find the source of the problem.

-"Yes." she answered, still hiding her face.

I nodded my head not really knowing what to reply. The situation was already too awkward and weird for both of us, but I couldn't just walk away like nothing happened. She was my teasing buddy. I had to somehow help her. So I ended up walking up to her and sitting beside her as my body almost touched hers. My eyes didn't dare to look at her, since I was feeling somehow embarrassed for being this close to her. I never felt like that before when I was around her, so I found it a little strange. However, I didn't push that thought more, since my purpose was to make her feel better.

-"I am sorry." I told her as I hesitantly took hold of her hand squeezing it softly.

I immediately felt her eyes on me, but I didn't turn to meet them. My mind was focusing on her hand. It was soft, delicate and warm. Holding it made me feel odd. My stomach felt as if a mass of butterflies had entered it and my body was heating up by the thought of me touching her more.

-"Suigetsu... Your hand is melting."

My eyes widen shocked once I noticed that I had lost control of my actions. I immediately pulled myself together and turned my hand back to normal, before letting a heavy sign of relief escape my lips. Despite that happening, I didn't pull my hand away. I let it there, since holding her hand and trying to comfort her felt almost natural. It felt as if I was supposed to do that with her. After that, I took a heavy breath in an attempt to gather as much courage as I could, before my purple eyes looked at her face. Her eyes were a little red from crying as they kept staring at my hand. Her cheeks were blushing as a small smile was visible on her lips. She looked calm as a feeling of love and care was emitting from her body.

Don't tell me....

-"Are you upset because of what I wrote on the note?" I asked her smirking as my mood had completely changed.

-"No!" she almost shouted as her face blushed even more.
-"It's because you got me all wet along with my bed!"

-"I am right! You like me and thought that I like you too!" I declared as I moved my face closer to hers.

-"I don't!" she almost yelled as she immediately stood up going away from me.

-"You do!"

-"I don't!"

-"You do!"

-"I don't!"

-"Just admit it already!" I told her as I was standing in front her with my hands crossed over my chest.
-"It's totally obvious and you aren't fooling anyone anymore. You like me and you thought that I like you too as I wrote in the note. That's why you were crying and hurting at the same time."

-"And what if I like you?!" she shouted at me as she turned her head to not look at me.
-"That doesn't give you the right to mess with my emotions!"

After that the room fell silent. She was right. That didn't give me the right to tease her about it. In fact I should be embarrassed too just like before, just like when I was holding her hand and was sitting close to her... My eyes widen in realization with those thoughts.

-"Of course it's like that." I mumbled to myself as I laughed softly.

(Y/n) looked at me confused, trying her best not to blush or feel more embarrassed. I walked up to her and without leaving any time for her to react I kissed her. My hands held her face between them as my lips touched hers in a loving way. I wasn't expecting her to kiss me back, since the shock was too big for her to handle. So I ended our kiss sooner than I wanted, as I stayed there staring in her beautiful (e/c) eyes.

-"Looks like I like you too." I told her smirking as a small blush was visible on my cheeks.

-"I... You... You were teasing me about it seconds ago!" she told me flustered as her eyes tried to avoid mine.

-"I did until I realize that I like you too. After all, I don't think I would be able to live without my teasing buddy." I replied as I finally let go of her face.

-"You are an asshole..." she mumbled embarrassed.

-"Your asshole." I corrected her as I winked at her making her giggle softly.

-"I guess you are right."

I am sorry if Suigetsu is out of character. I don't remember his character that much, but I tried my best.

And sorry for the bad ending too. I didn't really know how I wanted to end it and I didn't want to write a second part, so I tried to finish it like that.
