Kiba's POV

Flowers.

I always liked flowers.

For some reason, I always found myself looking at them, admiring them and enjoying their smell. I always liked taking care of them. I always liked their shape and colors. I will never admit it to my friends or anyone else, but I really enjoy all this.

Nevertheless, I have to admit that my favorite species of flowers are roses. Red, white, pink. I like each color the same. I don't know what made me love that specific flowers more than the others. Maybe it was their smell or appearance or even the fact that they seem dangerous due to their thorns, but in reality they protect themselves so they can continue look beautiful.

-"Kiba, are you alright?" Shino asked me snapping me out of my thoughts.

-"What happened?" I asked him confused.

-"We are almost at our destination." Hinata answered quietly.

I just nodded my head as I looked in front of me. There, a mile or so away, was visible the Flower kingdom. I was really amazed when I heard the name of that place, as my mind immediately started thinking about all the different species of flowers that will be growing there. It sounded like a place I would visit more than once. It was a place that was made for someone like me.

-"Kiba you doze off a lot. What are you thinking?" Shino asked me looking at me.

-"Nothing. I don't doze off." I answered awkwardly as I looked away scratching my head.

-"You seem like you are in love." Hinata said as Akamaru bark, agreeing with her.

-"I am not!" I shout embarrassed.

-"If you are you can tell us.," Shino said trying to hide his smirk.

-"We can help you somehow." Hinata said with a soft smile.

-"I am not in love!!!" I shout embarrassed and angry, making Akamaru bark disagreeing with this.

-"Stop! Who are you!?"

A voice shout making us stop walking. I looked around me and I saw that we were in front of the kingdom's gates. A few meters away stood four men that were in a fighting position with their weapons pointing on us.

-"We are the ninjas that your king asked for." Shino answered, since he was the leader of the team.

-"I see." one of the soldiers said as all of them lowered their weapons.
-"Please follow me."

We nodded our heads and started following the soldier in front of us. We were walking through the kingdom with the palace at the end of it being our destination.

I could say that the town was really beautiful. Tall buildings with at least 3-4 floors with each one of them having on their balconies mesmerizing flowers. People were walking around doing their daily work or shopping. Children were playing around making the atmosphere more happy and enjoyable. However, my eyes didn't remain on those things. They went at the flower shops that were almost everywhere. Flowers that I have never seen in my life were in those shops. I bet they have a unique smell too.

I saw Akamaru walk to most of the flowers smelling them. Each time he did it he was more happy than before. That somehow made me jealous. I really wanted to do the same, but it was impossible with my team around. I didn't really care about the people from this kingdom, since no one knows me.

The sound of a door opening caught my attention. I looked in front of me seeing that we had reached the palace. The gates opened letting us enter the front garden of the palace. I could say that it was the most beautiful garden of flowers that I gave ever seen in my whole life. All those flowers with so many different shapes and smells were a big challenge for me. It was such a tempting sight. It was like the flowers were calling me to go there, to just touch them or smell them.

It was a real paradise.

-"My king! The ninjas from Konoha are here!" the soldier said as he stood still.

I looked passed him seeing a table with an umbrella around it to shield the people under it from the bright sun. There, around the table, were sitting three people. An old man who was probably the king, a man around his thirties and a girl's around my age. All of them were dressed elegant, something that gave off that they were a part of a royal family.

-"Thank you. You can leave." the old man said making the soldier turn around and leave.
-"Please have a seat." he continued saying to us this time.

We sat around the table too with Shino being at my left and the royal girl at my right. The maids served us some tea and something to eat. Usually when that happens Akanaru is beside me poking me with his nose so I can give him something. So I was surprised when he didn't do so. I looked around me to find him and I saw that he had went at the princess smelling her happily.

-"Akanaru no!" I shout a little, scared that the girl might freak out.

-"It's fine." the girl answered in a soft and calming voice.

She lift her hand and put it on Akamaru's head petting him slowly. Surprisingly Akamaru didn't bark nor moved like crazy from excitement. He just put his head on her lap closing his eyes and enjoying her soft touch. This gave me the chance to look at her better. (H/c) (h/l) hair and stunning (e/c) eyes. A crown made out of pink roses were on her head that matched perfectly the pink dress she was wearing. And of course a soft smile on her face as she was petting Akamaru.

She looked so beautiful like that.

-"Do you agree Kiba?" Shino asked me snapping me out of my thoughts.

-"What?" I asked him confused since I wasn't paying attention to the conversation.

-"The king said that we have to take care of the princess for 3 days and until then we will be staying in the palace escorting the princess anywhere she wishes to." Shino explained to me.

-"I am ok with it." I said as my eyes fell on the girl again.

-"Introduce yourself please." the king said looking at his daughter.

-"My name is (L/n) (Y/n). I hope you will enjoy your time here." the girl said with a soft smile.

-"I am Hinata."

-"Shino."

-"Kiba and the dog is Akamaru." I said smiling at her.

-"It's my pleasure." she answered smiling as she continued petting Akamaru.

It's my pleasure princess for letting me stay in this place for some time. Of course I couldn't say that aloud. If I did my teammates would tease me about it all the time. So I just thought it as I was looking at her.

I can't wait for the fun to begin, Princess.
