Naruto's POV

She looked beautiful.

I was falling for her all over again.

She was walking slowly my way having the biggest smile I have ever seen. Her (h/c) hair made her look prettier than she already was. The light make up matched perfectly the smile on her face. The white wedding dress on her made her look like a princess from a fairy tale. And the banquet of red roses that she was holding matched the red color of her nails.

She was perfect.

Everyone was looking at her. Admiring her as she kept walking to her soon to be husband. Her (e/c) eyes locked with mine making me smile more. That moment I remembered the day I met her. The day I fell in love with her.

Flashback.

A little girl was sitting on a swing alone singing a soft song. She was moving slowly as she looked at the sky. She looked so cute.

And then it was me. A kid that did something stupid again to win everyone attention. I wanted their attention, since I didn't had friends, and falling in the mud was something that would help me achieve that.

Everyone started laughing with this and nobody came to help me. They were happy that this happened to me, because they hated me.

Except her.

-"Are you ok?" her soft voice rang in my ears.

I looked at her seeing her looking at me concerned as she gave me her hand to help me stand up. I hesitated for a little but at the end I let her help me get up.

-"You are all dirty. My mum can help you clean yourself. Follow me." she said smiling softly at me.

It was the first time someone came near me to help me. And that little angel had the most beautiful smile I had ever seen.

-"Why are you helping me?" I asked her blushing a little.

-"Because my mum told me to help those in need." she said with a sweet smile as she started walking.

-"Em... I am Naruto." I said blushing a little as I followed her.

-"I am (Y/n). I like your name. It's sweet." she said as she smiled at me again making me blush more.

End of the flashback

That day was the best of my life. It was the beginning of an amazing friendship that soon turned to something more for me. We passed so much time together that at the end we started describing each other like we were reading a book.

It was amazing.

She was right in front of me now. She gave me a closed eye smile which I gladly returned. She looked really beautiful.

After that she passed from beside me. She went up the three steps that was there and stood right in front of her soon to be husband. She stood in front of Gaara. He gave her a big smile as he took her hand into his squeezing it softly. He mumbled something at her making her blush a little and smile more.

They looked happy together. More happy than she would have ever looked with me. It was like they were a perfect match for each other. The match that I could never be for her.

Everyone sat down as the wedding liturgy started. I sat too as I wipped quickly a tear from my cheek.

They were happier together.

Ok, that was more sad than I expected it to be, but still it worth it.
