Madara x Ghost reader

Madara's POV

Tell me... Have you thought how death feels?

Have you thought where it will happen?

How you ended up there?

How you wanted it to happen?

I always thought that I had time. I always thought that I would live much more. I thought that I would achieve my dreams and then give up my life in my creator's hands.

But I was wrong.

My plans went wrong. The attack I had planned for the Senju was destroyed. I don't know how, but I don't need to know either. The only thing I know is that we lost. Many died, many got injured and many are a step away from death. Our defeat is clear this time. Hashirama proved us, proved to me, that he is a much more capable leader than me. He lives up to his fame. I hate myself for admitting such a thing, but when you are ready to die you start forgiving everything and everyone around you.

I don't know what I was thinking back at the battlefield, but once Hashirama's sword cut me on the stomach I panicked. I saw blood, my blood, and immediately started running away. I was worried about me. I was worried about what was going to happen to me.

The truth is I don't want to die. Not yet at least. I have so many dreams to fulfill, so many aims to achieve. I can't accept the fact that I am going to die. I can't accept the fact that a wound that a Senju caused me is going to kill me.

I have thought many times how I wanted my death to be like. However, things didn't go as I had imagined. I wanted to die as a winner, a leader. I wanted to die after I had defeated the Senju, after I had killed Hashirama. Yet, look at me now. The roles have been switched. I am the loser and he is the winner.

-"Lovely place, isn't it?"

A voice said making my senses go crazy. My tired eyes searching all around me in an attempt to find the source of the voice. Soon my eyes stopped at my right. There, on a rock, was sitting a girl. Her eyes looking at the afternoon sky as her lips had a soft smile.

-"Who are you?" I asked her with my eyes narrowing on her.

-"I don't know." her soft voice said as she stood up and started approaching me.

My eyes stayed on her watching every move she made. I had to admit that she was beautiful. (H/c) (h/l) hair, (e/c) eyes and a sweet smile on her lips. She was wearing a white thin summer dress that reached her knees. She looked so pure, like an angel that had come to welcome me to heaven or a demon in discise wanting to lure me to hell.

-"You seem injured. Did you lost the fight?" she asked me as she stood a few steps away from me.

-"I lost. Who are you?"

-"I don't know, but I know who you are Madara Uchiha."

-"How?" I asked her curious.

-"I have been watching you for a long time." she said as she sat beside me.

I continue looking at her with curiosity. I haven't seen her again and she didn't look like was from around here either. Her aura was different. More calmly and peaceful. So pure.

-"What do you want from me?"

-"Tell me Madara, do you want to die?"

-"No. I believe that I deserve to life so I can fulfill my dreams." I answered honestly.

-"You are a bad person Madara. You kill and fight for your ideas without caring about the others. Your hands have so much blood on them that make Satan seem innocent in front of you." she said softly looking at me.
-"Yet, I don't know why, but God has decided to let you live more. Maybe so you can bring destruction or peace. However, I doubt the second a lot."

-"Did you come to judge me?" I asked her annoyed.

-"I wish I did. Watching a man like you dying would be a pleasure." she answered honestly.
-"However, my intentions aren't bad. God wants you alive and I am his follower that do as he says."

-"You speak a lot about God. Are you an angel?" I asked her curious.

-"No, I am far away from this." she answered with a chuckle.
-"I am a ghost. A lost soul that travels on earth for many years now. My job is to fulfill my creator's wishes. And you are my next job."

-"So you came to save me." I said somehow relieved.

-"Yes and no. God decided to let you live more. He thinks that you have to suffer before your official death. You deserve to see everything you love disappear in front of your eyes."

-"What is that supposed to mean?" I asked her annoyed.

-"Time will show you Madara." she said as she placed her hand on my cheek.
-"You have a long way to go. Through this trip remember that life can be both fair and unfair."

I stared at her with a curious look. She was strange. Clever, but at the same time nothing that she said made sense. Not to me at least.

-"Can I know your name?"

-"Call me (Y/n) or remember me as the 'Ghost of truth'."

Thise were the last words I heard her say before my eyes closed from tiredness. However, I wasn't afraid of death anymore. I knew that she was going to save me. I knew it because everything she said was true. Maybe her words didn't make much sense, but I knew that this wasn't my end. Not as long as she was here.

{...}

My eyes started opening slowly as I was waking up. When my eyes were fully open I was met with the sun's light. I groaned and turned my head to the opposite side. There I saw my brother, Izuna, sitting on a chair with his eyes closed. He must stayed up all night watching me and fell asleep on the way.

That's when I remembered everything. I remembered my deafet. I remembered my wound. I remembered (Y/n), the ghost that saved me. My mind stayed on her memory. I still can't exactly understand who she was, yet I wanted to see her again, to learn more about her, more about the world she lives in. Such a unique creature, yet so stupid for thinking that I will suffer. I will live and I will achieve all my dreams.

God gave me a second chance and this time I will use it right.

{...}

However, the stupid one was me. Underestimating someone like her wasn't a good idea. Time showed me all of my mistakes. It shows me that I was wrong and suffered for everything. I had lost again and this time I lost more than before.

-"Told you that you will suffer, Madara."

....

The end.
