Third's POV
He was there. He always was. Standing beside her, staring at her, admiring her. She always had his entire attention from day one. She always had him begging for just a smile. She always had him making excuses so he could spend more time with her.
They met years ago, when they were children. Two kids playing in the same park. Two kids laughing and running after each other. Two kids with nothing to worry about, but only dream big. Big dreams that involved both of them, both of their lives and future. Dreams that slowly took life and became one with reality. Things only got better after that day, since those two kids became inseparable friends. Friends that tried their best to spend every single second of their lives with each other. They tried to stick together no matter the situation. They wanted to be happy with each other.
Of course life isn't only happiness. So it was natural for them to argue, to scream out of anger, to cry from sadness. They didn't use to fight often, but when they did, it was usually for stupid reasons that didn't have an effect on their connection. However, that didn't mean that they never fought seriously. It happened only once, when he was going away to study at the Police academy. She couldn't stand the fact that she wouldn't be seeing him often or be able to hang out with him. She couldn't stay away from him for so long. She wouldn't last without him.
-"You can't leave me! We are supposed to stick together forever! You promised that Izuna!!" her furious voice shout at him as she walked up and down his room angrily.
-"(Y/n) please understand that I have to study and take my degree as a policeman." he told her as he stared at her annoyed by their non-stop argument.
-"And of course it had to be so far away from me!" she shouted once again before turning her back at him.
-"You aren't even sad about it..."
Sadness. That's what she felt. That's what the tears on her cheeks meant. She was hurting too much. So much that she couldn't hide it anymore. However, all those negative feelings and thoughts somehow disappeared when Izuna hugged her. It was like he was her medicine, her freedom and slavery. He was her everything and the same was for him. He didn't want to leave without her, without the best piece of his life, but he didn't have any other options left to choose from. He had to stick with this one even if it made him hate himself.
-"I don't want to lose you Izuna..." her sad voice mumbled as she buried her head in his neck.
-"I don't want either (Y/n), but I can't do anything about it. However, I can promise you that I will text, call and talk with you everyday." he said as he took hold of her beautiful crying face between his hands.
-"I will never forget you. Never."
-"Promise?" she asked him as she wiped her last tears.
-"I do." he told her smiling before touching his forehead to hers in a loving way.
Life is so unexpected. Things like that happen all the time. One moment sadness and anger are the only feelings in a person's mind and then, the very next moment, happiness is back. Life is strange, but for them it was a blessing, since despite their hard time of staying together, they managed to come even closer. They managed to finally understand why they didn't want to lose each other. A feeling so pure and out of a child's heart, that was created for them and only them. A feeling that brings only happiness and dreams. A feeling named love.
-"I love you Izuna."
She was the first one to say and express her feelings. She was the first to finally have enough courage to express her heart's desire. She wanted him to know everything about her. She wanted him to accept her, which he did. He accepted her with all his body and soul, with his entire existence. He took and gave love. He received happiness and returned it at a much bigger amount. He did, because he was finally full. His body, mind and soul were now completed. All that thanks to her. Thanks to the only person that never left his side despite the obstacles that life made them overcome.
-"Good morning honey." her raucous voice mumbled as her body snuggled beside his.
-"Good morning sweetheart." he replied smiling softly as he hugged her softly before pecking her soft pinkish lips.
-"Did you sleep well?"
-"I did." she answered as her sleepy (e/c) eyes looked up at him.
-"You look like it's been quite a while since you woke up."
-"I did actually, but I didn't want to wake you up so I stayed on the bed." he told her as he gave her another soft kiss.
-"You should have woken me up to keep you company." she mumbled as she stretched her tired body.
-"You looked so cute while sleeping I couldn't bring myself to do it." he admitted as he smiled softly at her.
-"Silly." she said with a giggle before touching her forehead to his.
-"I wouldn't have minded if you did. I am your wife after all."
-"I know." he said as his black eyes stared at hers with happiness.
-"I was just enjoying the moment."
-"Of course you did, stalker." she said in a teasing way as she giggled once again.
Izuna pouted, trying to seem offended by her words, which made her laugh louder. He was ready to say something, but the sound of their bedroom door opening won his attention. He looked over his dear wife in an attempt to see who had entered the room and once his eyes fell on a small figure he smiled.
-"Good morning mum and dad." the small child that had just entered, said as he climbed over the bed and tried to get between them.
-"Good morning love." (Y/n) told him as she let him lay between them before overwhelming him in kisses, making him giggle.
Izuna smiled even more at the sight in front of him, before tickling his son and wife and making them laugh as they tried their best to escape from his hands. Of course their attempts failed, but he let them go after a little, since both of them were already out of breath. (Y/n) took this chance and pinned her husband on the bed as her son started tickling him, making his laugh to be heard in every corner of their beautiful house.
They had everything. He had her and she had him. They had a child to call theirs. That was enough for both of them. That was enough to make them happy and thankful for staying together until now. It was enough for them to make even bigger dreams. Dreams that will never stop becoming a reality. Dreams that their dear son will grow into.
Life is such a wonderful thing.
....
The end.
