(Y/n)'s POV

The weather was extremely good today. The sun shining up on the sky with no signs of any clouds on the horizon. The temperature high enough to wear a spring outfit and go outside to enjoy the nature's beauty. It was the perfect day for a picnic with my dear boyfriend. A moment for us to share and enjoy as a couple after days of hard work.

-"I think this spot is good."

I heard my boyfriend's voice say, snapping me out of my thoughts. I looked around us noticing that we had reached a small opening in the North forest of Konoha. Tall trees were surrounding us, as some bushes were all over the place. The opening was big enough to let some of the sunlight through and give life to all the colorful flowers that were there. Bees could be heard and seen flying all over the place, as some other small animals were running among the bushes.

-"I think it's perfect." I answered back smiling softly.

After that we placed a big thin blanket  on the grass for us to sit on and place our bags. Then we started taking our things out of the bags so we can eat and listen to some music, as we enjoy our little date. The foods we had brought with us were simple things that didn't need much preparation, since this was mostly a moment for us to catch up with each other. A moment that we both wanted to enjoy to the fullest, since work and other smaller things had made it impossible for us to be able to relax like this for days. Hard working days that thankfully had ended for now.

-"So how many days off did you get?" I curiously asked Itachi, as I finished eating a fruit.

-"Only one." he answered with an awkward smile.

-"You had told me that they were going to give you at least a week!" I told him annoyed.

I was mad with the fact that for one more time his own father and head of the Police Station wasn't giving his own son enough time to rest and enjoy life. I wanted for once in my life to be able to do more things with Itachi than just small dates. I wanted us to go on trips, to travel the world, to laugh and enjoy life together. I just wish for things that every girlfriend wants and expect from her boyfriend.

-"I know, but unfortunately a new job came and I have to go undercover for a few days." he told me avoiding my burning out of anger eyes.

-"So, I won't be seeing or hearing you for another week or so. Just great." I told him angrily as I stood up to walk, since my nerves were on the edge once again.

-"(Y/n), please, calm down." he begged me as he stood up to follow me.

-"Don't tell me to calm down!" I told him trying my best not to shout at him.

Itachi is a sweet and loving man. A gentleman. I am so lucky to have him by my side, but sometimes I feel like he isn't there at all.

-"It's like you don't want us to spend time together! Like you are avoiding me with work on purpose!"

-"That's not true!" he shouted at he as he placed his hands on my shoulders, stopping me in my tracks.

His black eyes had a serious look in them as his hands held me tightly afraid that I might leave once and for all. I have rarely seen him like that and when I did it was mostly at work since it's a place that requires this attitude.

-"I want us to spend time together more than anything and you know it. I came to see you even when I was sick or when I had broken my leg in one of missions. I was there! I wanted to spend time with you and I did and I will continue doing so!" his voice was serious but ready to break from the pain and sadness.
-"So please... Please take back what you said."

-"I am sorry Itachi." I mumbled as I hugged him tightly.

Tears were running down my cheeks as we held tightly each other. It was true that he always came to me. If he could he would stay with me forever. If I asked him to quit from everything and stay with me, he would do it to make me happy. He truly loves me. I am just stupid enough to not see it when I should.

-"I am sorry for doubting you. I just want us to spend more time together." I told him as he wiped my tears.

-"I know, because I want the same. So I have come up with a great idea." he told me smiling softly.

-"I am all ears." I told him, staring at him both confused and exited.

-"Let's move together. You can move into my apartment. It's big enough to fit us and if you don't like it we can search and find a new one."

I stared at him a little uneasy as I didn't fully support that idea. We have talked about it many times and we always left the subject at the side because I wasn't ready for it. But now it's the first time that I can't avoid it no matter what, because it's the best solution to our problem.

-"I don't know Itachi. Don't you think that it's a little too soon?" I asked him awkwardly.

-"You are right. 5 years together it's very little time." he told me ironically as he giggled.
-"What are you afraid of?"

-"I just... What if our home routine is different and we don't like it? What if you get angry with me or I do and break up?"

-"We won't know unless we try it."

-"That's true... But still-"

-"Stop overthinking about it (Y/n). I am sure that we will do great together." he reassured me as he kissed me softly on the forehead.

-"I hope so." I told him as I sighed defeated.

-"So you agree?"

-"I don't have any reasons not to, do I?"

-"No you don't." he told me excited as he hugged me tightly.

I smiled happily as I returned the hug. I am still worried about us living together, but as my sweet boyfriend said I won't know unless I try. However, it probably is going to be a little difficult at the beginning, but we will make it. We have to if we want our relationship to work out. This is our last and only solution to all of our problems. So I really hope that it will work out.
