Itachi's POV

-"Itachi." my father said looking straight at me.
-"You know about the annual event that it's held for each family, right?"

-"Yes father." I answered as I kept looking at him.

-"Good. This year our family is the host so you have to come too as the next president of our family company." he said and drank some of his drink.

-"Yes father."

-"Bring a friend if you want to. Now you can go."

-"Yes father." I said and bowed to him.

I left his office and the company's building, walking for my car. My mind was thinking about his words. If I can bring a friend at the event that means I can go with (Y/n). I can't wait to announce it to her.

I finally got home and started looking for her immediately all over the place. She was at the kitchen cooking something delicious since a strong and nice smell reached my nose.

-"Hello (Y/n). What are you cooking?" I asked her as I went near her.

-"I'm cooking some Ramen. Do you want some?"

-"Sure."

She prepared the Ramen and after a little we started eating.

-"You know (Y/n) tomorrow there's an event and this year's host is our family so... "

-"So you'll go, right?" she said with a sad face.

-"Yes, but my father said that I can bring a friend with me. So I thought to invite you. Do you want to come with me?" I asked her as I looked in her (e/c) eyes.

-"I would love to, but I don't have something to wear for such a special occasion, so I won't come. I'm sorry Itachi."

-"Thats your problem?" I asked her and she nobbed.
-"That's not even a problem. We can solve it easily."

-"How?"

-"I'll give you some money and you can go tomorrow morning to a store and buy anything you like."

-"No! I don't want to take money from you!"

-"But (Y/n)-"

-"Please Itachi. I will pay by myself the clothes, I'll buy tomorrow. Ok?"

-"As you wish." I said giving up.

-"Thanks." she said and smiled at me.

This smile of hers is so beautiful, that it kills me. It makes want to hug her and kiss her, but I can't. Not yet at least.

(Y/n)'s POV

The next day came fast. Today I am not working since Itachi gave me the day off to go buy a dress for the night. After a lot of search I ended up in a really beautiful dress that everyone in the shop agreed that it suits me a lot.

Will Itachi think the same or not?

Itachi's POV

-"Well well well~~ You'll go with (Y/n)?" Shisui asked me smirking.

-"Shisui stop it." I warned him.

-"Stop what?" he asked still smirking.

-"Stop that face."

-"Tell her how you feel for her. It's the best opportunity."

-"How? In front of everyone and especially my father? No way!"

-"Yes, in front of your father. He has to understand that you like this girl. Plus he wouldn't dare to react, because of the people who would be there."

-"But what if (Y/n) doesn't feel the same?"

-"She is."

-"How do you know it?"

-"Trust me. " he said smirking and left from my office.

When I finished my work I went home so I could start getting ready for the gala. I didn't see (Y/n) around. She probably was in her room getting ready. So I went to my bedroom to do the same.

After an hour or so I got ready and exited my room wearing this suit. 👇

I got downstairs trying to find (Y/n), but she wasn't there yet.

-"(Y/n) where are you? We will be late. Please hurry up." I shout a little so she could hear me.

-"I'm ready."

I turned where her angelic voice was coming from and was amazed when my eyes landed in her figure.

She is so beautiful.

-"You are so beautiful (Y/n)."I said still amazed.

-"Thanks a lot Itachi. Shall we go?" she said smiling softly.

-"Sure." I answered as we crossed the front door holding hands.

This night is going to be amazing.

We finally arrived at the place and we started walking at our table. We will sit with my parents. That's a bit awkward but I think that (Y/n) doesn't think the same. After all she have met them all.

-"Hello, mother, father." I said and I bowed my head to them.

-"Hello Mr and Mrs Uchiha." (Y/n) said and did the same.

We sat down and it was quiet until my mother Mikoto spoke.

-"So how long do you know each other?"

-"Around six months" (Y/n) answered.

-"That's a lot." she said as he smirked a little.
-"And how long are you dating?"

With that question both of us blush, but I think (Y/n) blushed more than me.

-"No mother, we are just friends. Good friends." I answered.

-"Oh then I'm sorry dear."

-"It's Okay." (Y/n) said still blushing.

-"(Y/n) come with me." I said and I gave her my hand.

She nobbed and caught my hand. She stood up and started walking for the drinks.

-"Let's have a drink."

-"Sure. I'm a bit thirsty after all."

After that we reached where the drinks were. I was trying to decide what to drink when (Y/n) spoke.

-"Take some wine. We don't want you to get drunk again, right?" (Y/n) said and winked at me.

-"Thanks." I replied with a smile and took a glass of wine as she did the same.

We started talking about different things when some other CEO reached me and wanted to talk to me about business.

"(Y/n) I'll come in a little."

-"Sure." she replied.

(Y/n) 's POV

Itachi left to talk for work with others leaving me alone, when suddenly someone wrapped his hand around my shoulder. I turned to see who it was finding a stranger there. I didn't know him at all, but I think that I have seen him before.

-"Hello (Y/n). You are so beautiful tonight."

-"Do I know you from somewhere?"

He started laughing out of the blue.

-"What's so funny?"

-"You really don't remember me?" he asked and took a sip from his drink.

I just nodded and waited for his answer.

-"I'm Indra Otsutsuki, we met two weeks ago at the meeting."

-"Oh right. I'm really sorry Indra." I said as I bowed my head to him.

-"It's Okay dear. I will forgive you if you dance with me. Do you want to?"

-"Sure." I said and went with him to the platform where some couples were dancing.

The song was slow and quiet as our dance. He brought his arms around my waist and I brought mine around his neck.

-"You are really beautiful tonight, you know that (Y/n)? " he said looking in my eyes.

I blushed at his compliment and looked away when in the corner of my eye I saw Itachi coming towards us really angry. I quickly pushed off Indra's arms and went to Itachi to calm him down.

-"Itachi-"

-"Why you are with him?" he asked me really furious.

-"I was just-" I tried to apologize but Indra interrupted me.

-"What's your problem Itachi? You interrupt us and now you want and an explanation? You have to be the one who has to apologize." he said coming near us.

-"Oh really? Am I the one? Why were you with (Y/n)?" Itachi asked him more angry.

-"It's none of your business."

-"Well it is, because I don't want her to be with someone like you. You don't deserve her."

-"And who deserves her? You?" Indra said and started laughing.

-"Yes." Itachi replied and shocked me.

Has he feelings for me?

-"You deserve her better than me?"

-"I said yes." Itachi said angrily.

When Itachi ended his sentence, Indra punched him in the face. I screamed and made everyone notice us.

-"ITACHI!"I yelled and went near him.
-"Are you ok?"

"Yes, I'm fine." he said trying to stand on his own feet.

-"Your nose is bleeding." I said panicking.

-"It's okay." he said touching his nose.

-"But-"

-"But you are mine." Indra said and tried to reach my hand but I glared at him and he backed off.

I stood up and went straight to him.

-"Listen up. No one owns me and you can't punch the others just because you like it. Because you have money and power doesn't mean that you can have everything you like in that way. You have to do more to have someone. I don't want to be yours, but if I have to chose I would choose Itachi, because he is the only one that stood up for me when I was alone." I said and I think that a tear run out of my eyes.

I turned away from them and started walking to the exit. I went outside in the night. It was dark and cold. I tried to warm myself with my hands when something covered my bare shoulders. I turned back and saw Itachi smiling at me as he gave me his jacket. He hugged me making me feel warm and happy between his strong arms. I don't know why but I was really happy being with him.

-"You know (Y/n), I don't want you to see you with other men because I'm jealous." he said breaking the silent.
-"Thats why I want you to be mine. Do you want to?" he continued looking straight in my eyes.

-"Yes I want to." I said with a smile.

After that he lost no time as he brought me closer to him and kissed me.

The kiss was so beautiful and slow.

And that feeling... is it love?

Well if it is then I'm happy experiencing that with him, with the one I love.
