Itachi's POV

It was another day. Another day had started finding me at my office and doing my usual paper work. It could always have stayed like that, but unfortunately for me it didn't. So when my office door opened revealing Shisui, my friend, I wasn't much surprised.

-"Hi Itachi!" he said smiling.

-"Hello Shisui." I said without taking my gaze from the papers.

-"What are you doing?" he asked me and sat on a chair in front of my desk.

-"Don't you see? I'm working."

-"Itachi you have to relax a little. You are working a lot for the family company. You aren't even the main boss here."

-"Yes, but one day I will be and don't pretend like you don't work here and you don't know the pressure of this work."

-"It's not like I can forget about it." he answered as he sighed.

-"Why did you come here?"

-"I wanted to ask you if you want to come to a party tonight?"

-"What party?" I asked him as I looked at him.

-"The one that Kakashi throws up tonight." Shisui answered excited.

-"I don't know." I said thinking about it.

-"Don't say that. You will come no matter what! Plus, you will have the opportunity to meet a cute girl. Kakashi always has cute and beautiful girls at his parties."

-"I don't want a girl." I said without even thinking about his words.

-"Come on. Will you stay like that forever?" he asked me as he raised his voice a little.

-"Maybe." I said and reterned my gaze on the papers on my desk.

He just sighed at my actions and left my office leaving me alone. However I am sure no matter what he will drag me to that party. Sometimes it's such a pain to have friends like him.

I hate my life.

As I had predicted Shisui dragged me at the party. I couldn't even say a word when he did so. Now I'm like an idiot in a party, which is most likely organized by teenagers. Many are dancing and drinking as a few are at the corners making out. It's not like I don't drink alcohol, but tomorrow I have a very important meeting so I have to be early there and definitely not drunk. However, Shisui didn't listen a word of what I had said. So he ended up dragging me to were the bar where he ordered something for him.

-"Drink something and have fun. I will have fun on my own!" he shouted a little as he winked at me.

Sometimes I think that he is an idiot and it's a waste of time to even bother with him. However, at the end of the day he is my best friend. My idiot friend.

I was thinking what to drink when a girl in a red dress came near me.

The barwoman I think, since she was serving drinks.

-"Hello." she said smiling at me.

She was really beautiful. Her (e/c) eyes and her (h/c) (h/l) hair made her really cute and gorgeous at the same time. Maybe Shisui was right. I can find a cute girl here.

-"What will you drink?" she asked me with her sweet voice, snapping me out of my thoughts.

-"I haven't decided yet."

-"Well I have." she said and she gave me a glass of whiskey.

After that she left and went to serve drinks at others too. In the mean time I took the glass of whiskey and made my way to find Shisui. I don't know why, but she really attracted me. She has something special. It makes me want to learn more about her, but unfortunately I can't since she is working here.

Suddenly I bumped to someone.

-"I'm sorry." a woman with a cute voice told me.

I turned my head at her direction and saw the person that made me smile like an idiot before a little.

-"It's fine." I said to the girl in front of me.

-"Oh it's you!" she said smiling back.
-"Sorry for my rudeness. I'm (Y/n) (L/n) and you are?"

-"Uchiha Itachi. Nice to meet you (Y/n)." I told her as we shared a handshake.

-"You are Shisui's best friend, aren't you?"

-"Yes. You know him?"

-"Are you kidding me? Everyone knows him, he is the life of the party. In every party he makes a fuzz." she said pointing behind me making me look there.

At that direction I saw a drunk Shisui dancing like and idiot on a table as many people were around him cheering for him. I sweatdropped at and tried to ignore him as I turned my attention back to (Y/n). She sure looks more beautiful from close.

-"How did you know I was Shisui's friend?" I asked her as I kept looking in her (e/c) eyes.

-"Shisui had mentioned you before, while we were talking, and he told me to keep you company."

-"He did something like that for me?" I asked her a little surprized.

-"Of course he did. He said that you are like his little brother so he wanted to be sure that you will have fun." she answered smiling.

-"I will have for sure." I mumbled to myself as a small smile was on my lips.

Hours passed fast and now it was passed midnight. (Y/n) and I were sitting somewhere more quiet as we were talking about various things. I learned a lot about her and I really started liking her a lot. She is a very sweet and cute girl. Having her smile being the best thing on her and being the main reason of why it made me somehow fall for her.

I would like to talk with her more, but suddenly I remembered about the meeting I have tomorrow. So I left without saying a thing. She had gone to bring some drinks so I hadn't the chance to say goodbye to her. I should have waited for her to return, but with so many people I lost the place we were sitting as I attempted to find her.

I tried to take Shisui with me too, but it was useless. He was so drunk and lost in his world that I could do anything to convince him to come with me. So I let him there to continue having fun. He will find his way home.

Time skip

Two days had passed, since the party and I haven't seen Shisui or (Y/n) since then. The worst thing is that I can't stop thinking about her and our talk that night. I bet that Shisui was betting for something to happen between me and (Y/n), but it didn't. Not yet at least.

However, I feel guilty for leaving without letting (Y/n) know the reason, but I didn't and still don't know where to find her. I am trying to concentrate on my work, but it's useless. My mind is all over her.

I have already decided what I will do.

I will find her no matter what!

I left my office and made my way to Shisui's office, wishing to find him there. I knocked the door and then opened it entering his office. Fortunately, I found Shisui sleeping in his chair ready to fall off. Seriously he sleeps at work?

-"Wake up Shisui." I told him shaking him a little.

-"I'm not sleeping while I'm working!" he said immediately as he woke up scared.

-"I have already seen you Shisui." I told him sighing.

He turned to look at me with a goofy smile, but it won't work this time.

-"I won't report you if you tell me where (Y/n) lives or something relating to it."

-"You mean the one you were talking the other night?" he asked me, while he was trying to remember for who I was talking about.

-"Yes."

-"Okay then. I will help you" he said as he started looking though his agenda.
