Obito's POV

I was walking in the garden. With each step I took I was getting closer to (Y/n). I was getting closer to finally telling her how I feel about her. I was sweating. Maybe I need to take a bath first and dress more nicer. I am so nervous.

That's when I stopped walking and I looked at her a little scared. How will I tell her that I love her? I haven't made a plan. And I can't go there and just tell her 'Hey I love you. Be mine'. It's so embarasing.

I need to find a way to tell her how much I love her. I need to think quickly before she turn and find me behind her.

But what?

Think! Think! Think!

I felt my heart beating faster in my pocket as I became more nervous and started sweating more.

Wait! I know how to tell her!

(Y/n) POV

After I heard that Obito will return at Konoha once his heart was ready I felt something breaking inside me. Maybe I don't have a heart, but still I felt that if I had one it would have become million pieces.

I just can't let him leave. He is my only true friend after years of walking from town to town. He was the only one who understood me. He was the only one that made me feel happy again. He was the only one that made me feel something unique.

I think I can understand a little about the feeling called love. It's a feeling that keeps you warm you when you are near of a specific person. It makes you smile with no reason. It makes you think of him all the time.

But it can cause you pain too.

I don't know what I will do without him. He is the reason I wanted to find my heart more than anything, but now I don't know if it's worth it. I don't know what I will do with my heart if I find it.

I won't have someone to share those feelings, so it's worthless.

-"(Y/n)."

I heard Obito's voice from behind me and I quickly put a smile on my face as I turned to look at him.

-"Did you finish eating? Was it good?" I asked him as I stood up.

-"It was delicious as always." he said with a big smile.

-"Great. For lunch I will prepare something better. So I should begin." I said as I passed him by ready to go in the house.

-"Can I ask you something first?" he asked me making me stop walking.

-"Sure." I answered as I turned to look at him having a small smile and a comfused look in my eyes.

-"First I want you to take this." he said and gave me a small box.

I look at it with curiosity, since it was too small to have something interesting inside it.

-"You can open it." he said with a small blush.

I looked at him for a little before I started openning the small box. I wonder what's inside it. It is so small, but still so cute. It's red with little hearts everywhere and it has a white ribbon on top of it. After some seconds I finally open it making me look at it's content shocked.

-"Obito whose heart is that?"

-"Mine." he said with a small blush looking away.

-"But Kakazu said it will be ready tommorow."

-"That was a lie. He wanted to test something." he answered with a small smile.

-"And why are you giving it to me?"

He took a deep breath and looked at me serious. However, I could see the blush forming on his cheeks.

-"Because I love you!"

I looked at him more shocked and surprised than before. I felt his heart in the box beating faster after he said those words and his cheeks became more red, just like mine.

He said he loves me...

-"Is this a dream?" I asked out of the blue.

-"No It's not (Y/n)." he answered with a small laugh.

Once I heard his answer my cheeks got more red. My eyes went at the heart inside the little box that I was holding. So he is giving it to me to show me his love. I smiled and took it in my hands looking at it carefully. It looks so beautiful with its beating being steady but happy at the same time. My eyes went on Obito finding him looking at me with a small smile on his lips and a sweet look in his eyes.

-"Obito what if it doesn't fit?" I asked him with a sad tone.

-"Then we will go and search for your heart." he said as he continued smiling.

I smiled too as I nobbed. Slowly and carefully I took the heart from the box and brought it to my chest.

And guess what?

It fitted perfectly.

Like a lost piece in a puzzle.

-"Obito it fits!" I shouted excited.

-"That's great!" he shout excited too as he hugged me and spin me on the air.

After that he placed me down, but he didn't stop there. He put one of his hands on my right cheek and he gently stoked it looking at me with love in his eyes. I smiled as I saw him coming closer to my face. And before I knew it we were kissing. His lips were so soft and sweet. And the way he was holding me made me feel so safe.

I love everything about him.

-"I love you Obito." I said after the kiss.

-"I love you too (Y/n)." he said and placed a quick kiss on my lips.

-"I expect you to marry her." Kakazu said from beside us making us scream a little, since we hadn't seen him.

-"Of course I will! She is mine now." Obito said and hugged me once again.

I smiled and hugged him too. My life just bacane better, happier, more perfect. I don't know if I can be more happy than I am right now. And for the first time after so long I can finally feel everything. I can feel happy, excited, scared, loved...

I can feel that small word. A word that gave meaning in my life.

Love...

I want to feel more about it and I will, with Obito by my side.
