You anxiously waited with the crowd of people. Your eyes scanning for your beloved boyfriend. You saw how happy each returning veteran ran to their family, and you only prayed that your boyfriend will be back too.

You felt two strong arms snake around you pulling you back to their chest. "I'm back (Y/N)..." You cried tears of happiness and turn to see him fully. "Zabuza!!!" You jumped on to him kissing him passionately, holding him as if he might slip away again. After a few minutes you both pull away. He intertwines his hand with yours, after 2 years of being away you have not been used to the sweet gestures, and it managed to make you blush. "I missed you so much, it's been two long years..." "All that matters is that I'm here now" he pecks your lips as you both get in the car and drive home.

When you arrive in your small apartment Zabuza throws his things on the couch, he feels the familiar feeling of being in your apt. You hug his waist "You hungry? I can cook you something real quick?" He shakes his head "No babe, right now I just want to spend some time with you." You nod and give him a gentle smile he blushes thinking how much he's missed your smile and laughs.

You both decide to watch a movie as you both cuddle on the couch. After a while you had fallen asleep. Zabuza turns off the t.v and easily carries you to your bedroom where he lays you down and he slides in besides you as well. You wake up and place your arms around his neck. "I really am glad you're back, I love you Zabuza..." Zabuza hovers over you "Let me show you how much I love you (Y/N)..." He then starts kissing your neck. You know what happened from there~•

You were preparing dinner waiting for Zabuza to come back from work. You heard the door close to your apt "(Y/N) I'm back" you go to hug him and peck his lips. "I'm almost done preparing dinner just-" you stop as you see his facial expression. "Zabuza? What's wrong?" He only looks at you sadly as he hugs you tighter. "(Y/N)...I, I have to go back." You look at him in disbelief "What?" "They just told me that I'm assigned to go on duty again. I have to leave in 2 days." "N-no Zabuza!" You shove him away. "You just got back! You can't go back again! Tell them to send someone else!" You yelled. "(Y/N) I can't do that. It's my job and I have to fight for my country..." You start to cry as he hugs you. "Please don't cry, you know I don't like it if the reason you're crying is because of me... I promise I'll be back before you know it." You could only nod at his words.

He sighs "(Y/N) I wasn't planning on doing this now but" He takes out a velvet box from his pocket and reveals a ring. Your eyes widen in shock. "Z-Zabuza..." "(Y/N) (L/N) will you marry me?" "Y-yes!!!" You repeated it many times as you give him a kiss. "I promise we'll have a big wedding when I come back." He smiles at you, you are no longer mad at him so you grin back.

You cry in sadness as they just finished the honorary funeral for your fiancé. Yes Zabuza had died 2 weeks earlier in battle. After the funeral only you stayed behind and stood infront of his grave twirling your engagement ring as tears fell from your eyes. "Zabuza... I should have stopped you..." You then place a hand over your 5 month old unborn baby. "You promised to come back, you promised to make me your wife...but I don't blame you, Thank you for everything, I will cherish and love our child and tell him or her of all about you, you will be their hero..." You could feel the wind blowing, you then placed a rose "I love you." With that you made your way home.
