You hold your head trying to make the dizziness go away. You didn't have time for resting, you needed to get the S-rank mission done. It's taken way longer than what needed to be, since your target was an Akatsuki member that you needed to capture. You haven't rested or eaten much for 3 days, you wanted to make sure he didn't slip away. You smile at yourself, Shino would absolutely kill you if he saw you push yourself this way.

People saw Shino as the type to keep to himself, a silent person. You on the other hand saw Shino as a reserved caring man, he always watches after you. You both met at the academy, though you graduated 2 years earlier for being superior in your Justus. Your head decided to be dizzy again making your view shift around, you grabbed the tree you hid in for support but it was to late as you fell out of it. Landing in the Akatsuki's line of vision he frowned under his mask, 'Shit' you thought.

Shino was barely outside the village gates, he was showing his students about camouflage until he sensed a presence around. He got ready with his Kunai until you came into view barely walking while holding on a side of your stomach. When you saw Shino you smiled weakly at him, blood dripping from the corners of your mouth. His students gasped and Shino panicked quickly going to your side and carrying you bridal style. "(Y/N)!!! What happened!" "I messed up, haha." He tells his students to meet him up at the hospital and he swiftly and quickly makes his way there. Halfway you couldn't keep your eyes open anymore and soon you slipped into darkness the last thing you heard were Shino's desperate cries.

Waking up you try sitting but pain rushes to your gut. "(Y/N)!" Shino embraces you as gentle as possible making you smile, you felt safe in his arms. Everyone feels relieved you're awake as they leave you both alone. As Sakura and Naruto walk out Naruto says "I didn't think Shino had feelings." After that all you heard was a smack and a Yelp from Naruto making you giggle. Shino removed his dark glasses making your breathe hitch, he was gorgeous. "You don't know how scared I was of losing you." He says, you hug him tighter. "I'm sorry." He rests his chin on your head while sighing. "It's hopeless, I'm always going to have to be there." You pull away with a confused look, he then presses his lips against yours giving you a short sweet kiss. "I love you (Y/N)." You blush giving him a closed eyes smile, "I love you too Shino." Naruto come bursting through the door, "Kiba owes me Ramen!" he smiles widely while shaking your hand "Thanks for making Shino Kiss you!" Shino shakes his head and you laugh feeling special at the fact that you're the only one Shino shows his true side to.
