You stand there looking at the ground as Shikamaru finished packing the last of his bags. "...That's everything." You don't say anything, you just nod and he sighs. "(Y/N), please don't stay mad at me." He says going to you and holding your face in his hand, you tighten your fist in anger and shove him away. "Then what do you fuck you want me to do Shikamaru!? Be happy for you?" He looks at you with hurt "It wasn't my intention (Y/N)." "You know, for a smart person you make stupid decisions." You turn away to try to hold in your tears. So this is what it felt like to be hurt by the one you love.

You never expected it from someone like Shikamaru. You had always believed he was the loyal boyfriend, but sadly you were proven wrong. Just yesterday you both were so happy and that's until a certain blonde showed up; Temari. Temari came to your house yesterday but she didn't come alone, in her hands she held a sleeping mini Shikamaru. At first you didn't want to believe it but it was soon confirmed when Shikamaru held his head in frustration saying "It was only one time." You cried, yelled, and threw your anger out at him, after 7 years of being together; he had to bring it all to an end. All day yesterday he tried, even begged you to forgive him. What made it worse was that this all happened last year the night of your surprise birthday party, Shikamaru had gotten too drunk for his own good.

Shikamaru looks at you with pleading eyes and tries one last time. "(Y/N), please, we can still fix this. Let me make it up to you." He embraces you as you swallow the hurtful lump in your throat. "Maybe if you would have told me back then I would have forgiven you, but instead you chose to hide it from me. I ...don't trust you anymore." A tear escapes his eye, he nods and hugs you tight one last time. "I'll always love you (Y/N)." He leaves the room as you fall on the floor crying your eyes out, whispering "and I'll always love you."
