Hanabi had just finished the unfolded laundry you left behind and she sighed as she saw your sleeping form. She then heard the door opening and saw Hinata and Naruto arrive home. She stared confusedly at the blonde, he wasn't smiling as big as when she saw him approaching to kiss her sister (Y/N). After Naruto said goodnight Hinata smiled closing the door and saw you sleeping. She giggled a bit and adjusted the blanket to your face, she then headed upstairs quietly. Hanabi took this unnoticed chance to run out the door quietly. She caught up to Naruto.

"Yo." He stopped confused and turned "Oh-Hanabi. What are you doing out?" "...I need to ask, why do you look so down right now?" He shakes his head but agrees reluctantly motioning her to sit at the fountain they have at their house. "So?" He sighs "I know the difference between (Y/N) and Hinata. I know they're identical but I can tell them apart easily, as you can." Hanabi's eyes widen as she nods "Then why did you try to kiss (Y/N) when you knew it was her?" "...I accidentally confessed to Hinata instead of (Y/N). I told Kiba to hand my note to (Y/N) but instead he sent it to Hinata. I confessed on the roof without turning back and turned to realize it wasn't (Y/N) but Hinata." Hanabi makes a 'o' with her mouth but is somewhat relieved and pained at the same time. "And you just couldn't break Hina's heart could you?" Naruto shook his head yes, "I need (Y/N), today when I tried to kiss her 'by mistake' it just felt so right, I felt the butterflies in my stomach, my world just was brighter." He turned red realizing what he said. "Then tell her! I'm sure Hina-nee would understand. You can't force yourself to be with someone you don't want!" Naruto stares in wonder but makes up his mind "You're right Hanabi-chan-oh-uh. Hinata!" Hanabi turns to see her sister Hinata looking at Naruto with a sad smile. "It's alright Naruto-kun. I-if you love my sister-then b-be with her, I just want you to be happy." Naruto sighs "I'm sorry Hinata." He then smiles brightly and runs inside the house. Hinata turns and a few tears fall, Hanabi grabs her hand. "I really wished he would have fought for me, but he really does love (Y/N)-chan." Hanabi squeezes her hand reassuringly and smiles a bit.

You slept soundly until you felt a shake, you awoke to see blue orbs staring at you in adoration. You stroke his face thinking it was a dream, "At least I can have you in my dreams" you say giggling a bit. He smiles while chuckling "Why not in real life?" You panic and get up-and clashed your forehead with his. "Ow-ow! (Y/N)-chan chill!" Your grab your forehead as well. "S-sorry!-I'm not Hina-wait...did you just say my name?" "Um yeah so?" "...So you're not confusing me?" "Nope." He says happily. "Also, I love you (Y/N), I always have. I always wanted you! Things just got mixed up and I ended up with Hina-I mean don't get me wrong! She's a great girl but she's just not the one for me-I-I'm sorry I understand if you don't want to be with me-!" You cut him off with a long passionate kiss to which he gladly returned while holding your face. When you both pulled away for air he dazed dreamily as you giggled "You don't know how long I've waited for that." He grabbed your hand "Be my girlfriend, (Y/N)-chan?❤️" you blushed waiting for this moment all your life. You kissed him once again and smiled "Of course Na-ru-to~"
