Naruto made his way towards the cowaring girl his age. The sight of a reflection of himself from the past masked his vision, he absolutely detested seeing someone so broken and alone. He reached towards you to have you inch away, he pulled you into a full embrace; for some reason it comforted you. "They made you feel different, like you didn't belong. They used you and then tossed you away didn't they?" He whispers sadly as you silently cry nodding against his now wet shoulder that soaked from your tears. "Come with me, I'll protect you." Your mind was telling you to refuse but your heart ushered you to say yes, he looked pure of heart and you blindly trusted him. You nod as he takes your hand, you turn back to look at the village you once thought of as home; Konoha.

As you walked through the forest with the strange blonde you couldn't help but stare at your hand holding his; you felt safe. Your eyes wandered to his attire of black cloak and red clouds. You instantly recognized it as the Akatsuki though you didn't feel alarmed, he was offering you his happiness. "I'm Naruto Uzumaki, what's your name?" "...(Y/N)." He smiles and makes small talk throughout the walk, "how long have you been in the village?" "About 4 years...they really were much nicer until I really got to know them." Naruto makes a face understanding what you meant "They did the same to me when I used to be in the village. I left about 7 years ago when I was 12 and joined the Akatsuki. All they saw was a demon in me no matter how hard I tried."

You unwillingly squeezed his hand assuring him, he smiled in return "thank you for saving me." He smiles brightly as you blush instantly knowing that from that moment it was love at first sight.

-5 years later-

You smiled as you waited for Naruto in the bedroom you share at the Akatsuki hide-out. You were startled when you heard the door slam open and there was your beloved a bit bloody. "Naruto! What happened?" You asked worriedly as he shakes his head quickly "No time! Let's go!" You stare confused as he comes to you and picks you up bridal style, careful not to hurt your 7 month old unborn child. You lace your arms around his neck as he takes off through the window into the woods, from afar you see all the Akatsuki members run after him. You panic thinking what was going on, even your close friend Deidara was trailing after you guys, he had a look of regret.

"Naruto what's going on!?" He pants "I can't have our child grow up in that organization, he can't grow up like that-he should be happy and become someone good. He can't live his life as a criminal. So I told Pein I was leaving, he said he couldn't let me go and ordered everyone to kill me." You gasp as you see a Kunai heading your way "Naruto dodge!" He swiftly avoided it and skipped faster from tree to tree. Once he landed on the ground he hid you inside a small cave-like thing. You wanted to protest but he begged you to stay silent.

Not long the others came and surrounded him as you silently gasp, he was outnumbered. They began to fight and the sight of Naruto being beaten to death made your heart break, but you felt so useless as you just hid there. When you were about to come out and help, Naruto turned towards you to give you a pleading look with his eyes. With him distracted they struck him with a Kunai, he falls to the floor as everyone leaves. Deidara turns to look at you as you gasp but he only mouths a sorry flying away on his bird.

You quickly run to Naruto's side and cradle him laying him down on your lap. Your cries can be heard loudly and your sobs just broke Naruto. He reached up to hold your cheek "(Y/N)...please stop crying. At least you and the child are safe." He coughed up blood "I want you to know that you are the most beautiful thing that has ever happened in my life, I love you. And I will always be by your side." You smile sadly at Naruto "I love you Naruto." He gives a bright smile and takes his last breath. "Thank you for saving me, once again." You say stroking his head, silently recalling all the good you've lived with him.
