"Hello everyone, I'll be your new teacher and friend for as long as you come here." You smile at all the children in the daycare. You worked at a daycare, you really loved children and they loved you back. It was the perfect job for you.

They all smile in return except for one blonde kid, he seems to be cowering behind his dad. "Everyone please make a circle at the carpet and say bye to your parents." Everyone does as told but the blonde kid still wouldn't budge. "Ahahah, it will be okay Naruto, I'll be back later for you." "No..." "Please? Do it for Daddy. I'm sure you'll have lots of fun." You approach them and kneel down to Naruto's level and give him a gentle smile. "Hello, I'm Ms. (Y/N). What's your name?" He looks at you and blushes. "N-Naruto..." "Wouldn't you like to join me and the others? I promise you will feel safe and have fun here." You extend your hand, Naruto takes it opening up to you. "I'll take care of him from here sir." You look up to Naruto's father to see a handsome man, you blush. He gives you a closed eyes smile "Thank you, Ms...?" "A-ah just (Y/N) is fine." "I'm Minato. You really have a way with children, please take care of Naruto." You both excuse yourselfs as all the parents go home and you go back to the children. You, Naruto, and the others had fun all day.

Minato and Naruto were driving back home after a long day. "So did you enjoy your day?" Naruto nods excitedly telling his dad all he did. "-and Ms. (Y/N) is really nice!...I wish...mom could have met her..." Naruto finishes sadly looking down. Minato looks at his son sadly "It's alright Naruto, I'm sure she's happily smiling down at you."

A few months passed by and it was the day before Valentine's. "Okay everyone, we'll finish up these tomorrow. Time to pack up, your parents will be here shortly." You deliver each child to their parent and wait patiently for Minato to come. You knew he had a late working job so sometimes you waited a little longer for him to come pick up Naruto. Sometimes you'd even take Naruto home since Minato was to busy. You were constantly mistaken as his mother countless times, Naruto always agreed happily so you went along with it. You didn't mind getting close to him and his father at all. Throughout time you fell in love with Minato, you knew his wife Kushina passed away and believed you didn't have a chance with him, so you never confessed.

Things were perfect the way they were, confessing just might ruin the happiness you share with them. Your phone rings and you answer, Minato asked if you can take Naruto home so you happily accepted.

After putting Naruto to bed you quietly walked to the living room. "(Y/N), thank you so much, work was tough today." You smile and nod. "It's alright, I understand." Minato just stares at you and you stare at him. You both slowly lean in and share a sweet kiss. After pulling away you blush and look down. "I-I'm sorry, I shouldn't have done that." Minato lifts up your chin and kisses you once again but with more passion. "I've been waiting a long time to do this, I really fell for you." Your heart pounds and you hug him tight. "I love you Minato." Before he can reply you both hear a gasp.

"Does that mean Ms. (Y/N) is going to be my mommy!!?" You and Minato laugh, "I guess so Naruto." Naruto brings you both in for a group hug. Minato looks at you, "and by the way...I love you too."
