"Dogs are way better than cats. Cats are douches and dogs are a man's best friend." Kiba says proudly. You sigh as you shake your head. "Kiba, I love cats more than dogs but that doesn't mean I'm going to bad mouth them...each animal has their flaws." "Whatever, dogs are still the best." Akamaru barks at Kiba's statement. "Whatever Kiba, so like what are you doing here again?" You question as you flip the page to the magazine you're reading sitting in the front desk. You're the assistant to a vetenerian, Dr. Fern, he owned a small pet clinic and you worked here because your dream was to become a vet.

Kiba sulks. "Can't a guy visit his girlfriend at work?" "You can't come visit me everyday Kiba, this is my job and unless Akamaru is sick or has an appointment, I can't hang out with you here. Dr. Fern might fire me." Kiba scowls when you mention Dr. Fern, he was extremely jealous of the guy. Kiba feared that Fern would do something when he isn't around.

A customer walks in with her bunny saying she had an appointment. "Kiba leave now, I'm busy." He sighs but listens anyway but he really didn't want to leave you with that guy so he instead went somewhere else in the clinic.

You were helping Dr. F examine the bunny. You knew why Kiba was worried. Dr. F was extremely attractive and very nice but you knew he wouldn't do anything to you, besides he's about 5 years older than you. "(Y/N) hand me those utensils on that table please." You nod and make your way but you accidentally trip on the X-Ray machine cable and as you close your eyes to wait for the impact you feel strong arms holding you. "Woah, you okay there (Y/N)?" Dr. F asks concerned. You become flustered due to his closeness "u-uh yeah I'm fine!thanks" You hear a growl and turn to see Kiba at the door with a furious face. He stomps his way towards you and yanks you away from him pulling you out the door as Dr. F stands there confused.

"Kiba let go! You're hurting me!" He turns and glares at you. "I knew I shouldn't have left you alone! That damn-" Kiba keeps ranting on angrily as Akamaru whines. You grab his face and kiss him stopping his angry rant. He kisses back instantly, you both make out for about two minutes and then pull away. "Kiba you idiot, Dr. Fern just caught me because I tripped on a cable!" Kiba looks at you with wide eyes then he feels guilty and sighs. "I'm sorry (Y/N)-chan, I just get really jealous, I feel like nothing compared to that guy and you're really special to me and I don't wanna lose you to him." You sigh, "Kiba don't worry, I only have eyes for you, I love you." You peck his lips. "I love you too (Y/N)." You smile and hug him. "Now go home and don't worry, I get out at 7 , come pick me up okay?" He kisses your forehead and makes his way home. You enter back in and apologize for the little scene Kiba caused. Dr. Fern just laughs it off and you both tend to animals the rest of the day.
