You skipped your way to your sensei's house with a bouquet of flowers in hand. On the way there you see your teammates Kakashi, Obito, and Rin. You call out to them signaling your presence. "Oh Hey (Y/N)!!!" Obito grinned, while Kakashi gave you a simple wave and Rin smiled at you. "So you guys are heading to Minato-sensei's place too?" You pout at them "you guys are so mean! You never invite me to anything!" Obito and Kakashi give you confused faces. "What do you mean? Rin said she invited you." Rin looks away guiltily while Kakashi gives her the coldest glare ever. "You can't keep doing this Rin, one way or another it won't change how I feel." Kakashi pulls you and you and him both walk ahead of Obito and Rin. You turn with a confused face and Kakashi sighs. "Don't mind her (Y/N)." "What did you mean by the way you feel?-Omg do I make you feel uncomfortable!!!?" You give Kakashi a sad face. Kakashi's eyes widen "N-no! It's not that at all (Y/N). It's the complete opposite..." "Huh?" Before Kakashi can answer back the door opens to your sensei's house.

"Kya! I've disturbed a love moment haven't I?" Kushina says in a fangirl mode. "K-Kushina, knock it off, it's n-nothing like that." Kakashi says as he turns away blushing slightly. Minato-sensei comes out smiling like always. "Sensei!!!!! Happy Birthday!!!!! Your favorite student here has brought you flowers!" You say as you point at yourself. He smiles and thanks you giving you a hug. "Who gives a guy flowers?" Obito questions and you glare at him. "I do! And besides these are very special since I grew them myself." "Ahh I think (Y/N) is very sweet of doing that, it's very romantic when a girl gives a guy flowers" Kushina says. Rin makes a weird face, "shouldn't it be the other way around?". "Either person who gives flowers is fine! Now let's go in and have the cake Kushina made for me." Minato and Kushina enter first.

Obito gasps "Does that mean (Y/N) is in love with Sensei!!!!!!!!?" You quickly deny "N-no way!!! I'm in love w-with someone else!" Obito pressures you, "who then~?" Your eyes shift to Kakashi and his eyes widen slightly then you turn your head back to Obito "none of your business, now if you excuse me, I have cake calling for me!" You quickly run inside to avoid anymore awkwardness.

After celebrating for a couple of hours you decide to go home. "I'm gonna head home guys, I need to prepare for a mission tomorrow." "You have a mission by yourself (Y/N)?!" "Well yeah... I am a Jonin just like Kakashi...well see ya guys!" Everyone said their goodbyes except for Kakashi "I'm a bit tired so I'll leave with (Y/N)" Rin was about to say something when Minato quickly interrupted. "See you two around! Oh Rin and Obito, since you're both staying, me and Kushina need your help with something." He quickly ushers them toward the kitchen and Kushina turns and winks at both you and Kakashi then quickly follows her husband happily. You blush but walk out the door with him.

The walk home was quiet when you both came to a point that you had to go different ways you smile at Kakashi "well I'm heading this way, see ya Kakashi" when you turn to walk away you feel an arm stop you. You turn to Kakashi and see him looking at the ground. "(Y/N) I have to tell you something..." "Well what is it?" "...about earlier...the way I feel, I feel weird around you..." "I make you feel weird?" "What I'm trying to say is that... I like you." Your jaw dropped and time seemed to have stopped or you until Kakashi's chuckle brought you out of your trance. "H-hey! That isn't funny! Quit joking with me!" "I'm sorry! It's just that the face you made was hilarious. But I really am serious (Y/N)." He takes your hand and you blush madly "I-I really like you too Kakashi." He gives you a closed eyed smile and embraces you, "I'm glad (Y/N)" he pulls away a little and kisses your forehead. The sweet gesture gives you butterflies in your stomach. "Well you're mine now, but I won't try anything until you're ready, be safe on your mission tomorrow Goodnight" he walks away in the route to his home. You say goodnight back but still stand there. Then you smile and feel your forehead enjoying the sensation his lips left behind. "A total gentleman" you whisper and head towards your own home.
