You stared blankly at the floor as you walked through the cave-like base of the snake man's hide out. When he came to a stop you looked up to see a boy about your age, his eyes curiously looking at yours until he directed them towards Orochimaru. "Another lab rat lord Orochimaru?" You took in his harsh words, but you were used to it so you simply looked away. "Kabuto be nice, I brought her to make her stronger." Orochimaru chuckles and motions you toward the boy. "Get acquainted, I'll be back in a few days." Once he leaves Kabuto lets out a sigh and puts out his hand towards you "Kabuto, sorry for the harsh tone earlier." Your cold hand grips his "(Y/N), don't bother. I'm used to it."

He raises a brow then shifts to the other side of the room and comes back with a blanket. He wraps it around your body, covering your tattered shinobi clothes. He got a little to close to your face making you question his actions, he finally presses his forehead against yours "hm. No fever." He pulls away making you flustered but you quickly hide it hugging the warmth of the blanket. You haven't felt your heart speed up like this ever since your childhood. "Come on, I'll show you to your room." You stare at his back wondering what is to come at your stay here. Arriving he turns to leave, you quickly say a "Thanks." He stops in his tracks whispering "Welcome home."

A lot of time has passed since and you are currently sitting, getting a needle injection by Kabuto. "There you have it." You jumped off the table and turn towards him, he keeps cleaning his tools but feels your stare. "So you're just going to act like this." "Act like what?" You sigh sadly, remembering the kiss you shared with him just yesterday. You both had come back from a mission laughing freely when suddenly Kabuto passionately kissed you. It stirred up your heart, it was the last straw to prove that you actually had feelings for Kabuto. Through time you had fallen in love with him, but it wasn't your fault, he acted like he was giving you hints to try something. Every kind gesture, every smile, every moment was special with him; it was hard to contain your feelings but yesterday you finally expressed it in the kiss.

"Look (Y/N). You should just forget what happened, it was a mistake." You felt a prick to your heart and tears spilled a bit from your eyes. You angrily punched the table breaking it in half, Kabuto turned with a shock expression. "Stupid! Stupid Kabuto! What gives you the right to play with my feelings." You ran out of the hide out as Kabuto looked ahead with guilt written all over his face, he truly did love you-but he couldn't bring himself to stop all his wrongdoings just for love. He had a mission and he couldn't stop it just to be with you. He sighed thinking what he had to do and set his plan for tonight.

You layed on your side as tears still streamed down your face. Being in love sucks, you thought of everything you've been through-all the bad, and you still didn't have luck with being happy. You thought of the moments with Kabuto and how it suddenly came to an end because of a kiss. 'I should have never fallen for the stupid nerd.' You thought bitterly. You hear a wooden creek and turn to see Kabuto standing quietly in your room, "K-Kabu-" before you can ask he teleports to you and begins to choke you. You struggle trying to find air but he was stronger than you, you looked up only for your eyes to widen in shock. Kabuto had the most heartbroken face ever-it was like his whole world was collapsing this moment. "(Y/N), I want you to know that I love you." He begins with a shaky voice, you nod giving up and almost passing out "j-just d-do it." You managed to speak out as he pulls out a Kunai "I'm sorry." He slashes your throat ending your life. He begins to sob uncontrollably taking in what he's done just to continue on with the snake- you had to be put out of the way, you were a distraction to him. He believed that sometimes you have to sacifrice precious things in life in order to keep on going. One thing is for sure that he loves you and only seeked on putting you out of your misery.

"Already done?" Kabuto stood up "yes lord Orochimaru." Orochimaru sighs "good. Let's go find the next test subject." Kabuto only nodded following after him into the dark.
