You stare at the ground sadly, you had just broke up with your boyfriend who cheated on you. You didn't know how someone who you thought to be your whole world can suddenly break you in a quick moment. "H-Hey (Y/N) you alright?" You look up to see Choji, you both had become close due to Asuma also being your Sensei. You trained along side his three students.

"Yeah..." "It's because of (Ex's Name) right?" You only look away, not wanting to talk about the subject. "I know you don't want to speak about it (Y/N)-chan but I'll tell you this, you are a really special person and someone who played your heart like that isn't worth your sadness. So please don't be sad, you have people like me to cheer you up." You couldn't hold back your tears and cried infront of Choji, such words made you happy. He hugged you as you hugged back enjoying the feeling of being protected. "Thank you Choji-kun."

-The Next Day-

You made your way through the crowd of people and spotted who you've been looking for. "Choji-kun!!!" Choji turns around and smiles at you. When you approach him you give him a closed eyed smile, one that caused him to blush. Then you hand him his favorite flavor bag of chips. "Thanks for cheering me up the other day, it really meant a lot." Choji took them gratefully. You then turned "well see you later then!" "W-where are you going (Y/N)-chan?" "I have to run an errand for Tsunade-sama!" With that you left Choji.

Later that day you you where walking back exhausted and sat at a nearby bench. Choji spotted you and made his way to sit with you. "Hard errand?" "Well you know, nothing is ever easy coming from Tsunade-sama." he chuckles. You both enjoy a very happy evening together.

From a distance Shikamaru and Ino were walking by looking for their friend Choji. Shikamaru spotted him and you "hey Ino, there he is, I'll call him" Ino quickly clasps her hand over Shikamaru's mouth. "Are you an Idiot Shikamaru! Look at how happy Choji is! He probably likes (Y/N)-chan!! Come on let's leave them alone." Ino squeals as Shikamaru only grunts being dragged away by Ino. From that day on you and Choji met up every evening to hang out. You both became even closer than ever before.

One day you went to Choji's house deciding to confess your feelings to him. Ever since the day your ex hurt you Choji had been there to heal your broken heart and in time you had opened yourself up to him. You fell in love with him, and Ino excitedly told you to confess. When you arrived to his house his mother beamed at the sight of a lovely young woman asking for her son. "My my, you are really beautiful!!" "U-um thank you very much, Is Choji in?" "Yes dear, come in, I believe he is in the back with his Father." She let you in as you went to the back to go find Choji. As you were about to step into the backyard you stopped yourself as you listened Choji having a serious talk with his father. "Dad, don't say that, you still have many years to live." "I know son but even so, you must always be ready to take charge of the clan. You have a gentle heart son and one day you will lead this clan alongside your family as support." "Dad...I already told you, no girl would want me as their husband, I'm not handsome like the other guys my age, and I'm not fit." "But look at me, I started a family. I'm sure you have a girl you love?" You see Choji blush. His father chuckles. "I'm sure you'll have no trouble finding a bride, now if you excuse me, I have to go talk with Shikaku." You quickly act as if you barely arrived "Oh, who might you be?" "I'm (L/N) (Y/N) a pleasure to meet you, I was told Choji was back here?" "Same too you, and yes go right ahead." He leaves with a smile and you enter the backyard calling out to Choji. "Choji, that thinking face really doesn't suit you." You laugh and sit beside him. "(Y-Y/N), sorry it's just that I had a discussion with my father..." He told you everything you heard while eavesdropping.

"I don't mind being Mrs. Akimichi." Choji turns to you with wide eyes as you stare at the ground blushing madly. "W-what!?" You turn and gently lay your hand on his cheek. "Choji you have the most purest and gentles heart in the world. Any girl would be lucky to have you as their husband, you have been there for me and slowly in time I came to love you." His hand overlaps yours "(Y/N)... I, I love you too." You both slowly lean in and kiss. It lasts about a minute before you both pull away blushing madly. He smiles at you and intertwines your hands as you lay your head on his shoulder, both staring at the sunset.

Without you both knowing Choji's mom and father were behind viewing everything that just happened. Smiling at the now happy couple.
