And, as requested by @Jhohn_Egderp, here is a chapter in Harley's POV.

Harley's POV

"Morning doggos!" Sung the melodic voice of the dad.

His fluffy brown head poked from the door frame and smiled at me, "The kibbles have been served."

"What are you having for breakfast?" I barked, "Mum's face again?"

He gave me a look oblivious to my question.

I forget humans don't speak dog-lish, a language made by dogs; for dogs.

What a shame, too. They miss out on the pet names we call them; food man, stumpy fingers, other names similar.

The other small dog stumbled along, her elongated sausage shaped body breezing past me.

"Hey! You need to chill, small one!" I growled running at her.

"Shush! I can do whatever I want! Mean old dog," Daisy teased, crashing into the chair leg, letting out a cry of pain.

"Hah, the chair is on my side!" I proclaimed as the mom walked down the stairs.

"Morning Harley. Morning Daisy," she mumbled as she reached down to pet us.

"Bork, good day mother!" I yelped, my fluffy tail wagging excitedly.

She only smiled, not responding to my addition to her greeting.

Do none of them speak dog-lish? They never respond so I presume none of them do.

Mom stood and walked towards dad, a loving look in her e/c eyes.

He crashed his head to hers, taking a bite out of her face. Is that romantic? They do that in those hour long moving pictures on the metal box.

"Morning Y/n," dad smiled widely, his pearly white canines glistening.

Mom grinned, her cheeks turning a romantic shade of red, "Morning to you too, Thomas," her right eye twitched. (*wink*)

Daisy made a belching noise, "Blegh! So sappy..."

I barked at her and jumped on her side, tackling her to the ground, "They're being romantic! Shuddup you spork!"

Daisy slapped me in the muzzle and stood up, bonking her head with mine, "You shut up!"

I growled and grabbed her squeaky pig toy, and, through muffle barks, said, "Yow wanba fwight mwe?"

She picked up my chewing stick and nudged me with it, "Yeah!"

We dropped the toys and pounced at each other, paws squeezing our faces, "Get off me you splotchy mutt!"

"Well at least I'm not half wiener dog!"

"Dachshund! Dachshund not wiener dog!"

I felt hands grab my torso and pick me up, "Hey! hEY!" I yelped, having a spasm.

Daisy grinned from the floor, "Hah!"

Dad held me belly up, his stumpy little fingers poking me, "You need to calm down. Leave the small one alone."

Mom walked up and laughed, "They were probably just playing," she leaned down and pet Daisy.

"Maybe," Dad smiled and set me down.

I ran towards my spot on the couch and plopped down.

Daisy mockingly strutted around the corner, her stubby little paws dragging behind her as her tail waved high in the air.

"I win," she declared  sitting with her chest sticking out proudly.

I huffed, my floppy ears tensing, "Shut up you mixed, sausage shaped log.."

Dad walked in before Daisy could open her yapper, sitting beside me.

I sat comfortably on his legs and prodded his abdomen with my muzzle.

He chuckled happily and scratched behind my ear, "Don't be a poker."

I gave Daisy a cocky smirk and upturned my nose.

Mom walked in and sat beside dad, her head laying on his shoulder. Daisy hopped onto her and laid in her lap.

I narrowed my eyes at her and pushed my muzzle into dad's upper arm, "You don't intimidate me, small log.."

She snapped her teeth at me, "Neither do you..."

In my peripherals, I saw mom and dad leaning towards each other.

Daisy and I hopped off their laps as they made contact, smiles on their faces.

Dad's fingers intertwined with mom's as his face turned a pale red. Mom, on the other hand, was calm.

What was so romantic about this?

Daisy and I exchanged weird looks, unknowing of why they always did this.

The world may never know...
