Edmund Oneshot

(A/N: Hey guys! I had a really good camping trip. Ironically, I got more requests while I was without WiFi than I have in a while *.* Oh well. Remember to eat something, drink some water and take you meds! Love you!)
Modern Oneshot: Edmund wants you to take a lazy day
"Y-.... Y/N....Y/N," Edmund mumbled as you slowly woke up. He was hovering above you, arm on the pillow above your head. He leaned down, kissing you softly. "G'morning love."
"Morning," you sighed, remembering all of the things you had to do today. You had two writing assignments due in a week, you promised yourself you would read five chapters of your book and you had to edit together a presentation for your professor by Friday. You also had to clean bathrooms, make breakfast, lunch and dinner and entertain Edmund somewhere in the mix. Needless to say, you weren't looking forward to your workload.
"I had an idea. Why don't we have a lazy day?" Edmund laid down beside you, pulling the blanket further up over the both of you. "You deserve a break."
"Ed..."
Edmund tisked. "Nope. You need it. If you keep this schedule up you'll run yourself into the ground." He snuggled closer to you, draping an arm over your waist. "Please?"
"Alright."
Three hours later, you were not alright.
Edmund had fallen back asleep, half on top of you, prohibiting you from even reaching your book on the nightstand, much less getting up to do chores. The dusty dresser was killing you, your assignments loomed in the back of your head and you cringed knowing that your computer was now fully charged, waiting to be stuck on Power Point for hours.
"Ed," you whispered, nudging his head which had fallen on your shoulder. "Edmund."
"Y/N, go back to sleep." It was muffled, but you could hear his desperate plea for rest.
"I can't. I have things that I have to do. Do you want to get up with me?"
"Fine."
Edmund was not fine.
He kept begging you to finish The Crown with him. He wouldn't let go of your waist when you sat down with your laptop to work on your presentation.
"Ed, I need to work on this project."
"What you need is rest." He closed the laptop, putting it on the far side of him and covering you in his blanket. "You'll have plenty of time to finish your work during the week."
"Okay."
Edmund knew that you were most definitely not okay when he found you up at 2 A.M, your laptop opened to a finished Powerpoint you hadn't bothered closing, scrubbing away at the dishes from dinner.
"Y/N?" He stepped into the brightly lit kitchen, rubbing his eyes with small fists. "Why are you up so late?"
You scrubbed more vigorously at the pan. "You wouldn't let me get anything done," you snapped, setting the brush down to get the soap bottle. Your response may have been harsh, but your sleep-deprived, anxious brain couldn't tell the difference. "Work proceeds sleep any day, especially when I'm anxious."
"You didn't tell me that I was making you anxious." Edmund sounded hurt. He really didn't mean to make you upset. "I'm sorry."
"It's alright," you assured him, setting the pan down completely and turning to face Edmund. You hugged him, settling into his warm embrace.
