Argue

Sierra's head pounded, blood from the wound in her arm dripping to the ground. Peter slipped his hand into hers, and she managed a weak smile. He gently scooped her up, trying to slip past Nirvana and to the entrance to the cave.

"Trying to escape, are we?" She cackled, turning around to face them. Then, her husband, Adrinian, came in, a smirk on his face.

"Mm. Pity. I had hoped we might be able to not kill you, mother. Such a shame. Oh, well." He flicked his wrist, and they found themselves back in the same stone room. Peter gently set her back down on the small pile of ragged blankets on the floor.

"So.....He's the son that you told me Jadis stole." She nodded slowly, staring at the ground.
"I thought he was dead." She said quietly, and Peter sighed.
"Yeah, you just thought. You didn't think to confirm it, did you?!" She looked up, shocked.
"No, I didn't! None of my gifts were supposed to pass on to him! How was I supposed to know that he was still alive?!" Peter rolled his eyes, crossing his arms and sitting across from her.

"You're the daughter of Aslan! How did you not know?!" She clenched her fists.
"I don't know everything!! I'm not that powerful, and you know that!" He snorted, raising an eyebrow.
"Oh, and your father couldn't have told you that he was still alive? That definitely makes sense." She groaned.
"He lets me live my own life! He doesn't tell me every little thing so that I know exactly what to expect! And he certainly didn't tell me that one of the four humans that was coming could end up being such a jerk!!" He shook his head slightly, leaning back.
"Well, if I'm such a jerk, why don't you ask him for your gift back so that you can live long enough to find a man who isn't one?!?!" He nearly roared, and something snapped in Sierra. She felt a stabbing pain in her side, and then heard Nirvana's voice.

'Don't fight the anger......Just let it take over.....He's not worth your tears.....' She struggled to her feet, looking towards the entrance.
"No!! I will not give in!! I don't want to keep the anger in me! I know it's not me, and this is not him!! HE IS WORTH IT TO ME!!!" She screamed, and then was knocked back by a blast of blue energy, and hit the wall. The spell on Peter broke, and he snapped out of it just in time to see her hit the stone wall.

"NO!!!!" He released a gut-wrenching cry, nearly springing across to the small room where she lay limp and unconscious.

"Sierra...." He whispered, tears pouring down his cheeks.
"Please, Sierra. Please don't leave me." She groaned weakly, gently squeezing his hand, but her eyes didn't open.

"Thank you, Aslan." He whispered, kissing her forehead. He didn't know how they would make it out. He just knew they had to.

The rest of this story will be coming sometime later in the next Until Narnia book, Til The Day I Die, as well as the rest of last chapter's story.
