Peter Pevensie

You have lived in Finchley for nearly over two months now. You've been going to a secondary school for almost two weeks. Ever since you and your family moved into the new town and were transferred to a new school, you've been by yourself  mostly; especially during recess and lunch. You felt very alienated from other people that you always wished to make at least...one friend at a time.

You were originally from a countryside, where you spent most of your childhood to early teens and were good at making friends. You attended elementary school from kindergarten to year 7. After graduating year 7 at your old school in the beginning of summer, everything changed. In mid-late July, your parents got a new job they wanted which was located far away in the city of London. Because you didn't want to leave all your old friends behind, you were hesitant about moving. But your parents told you that it was for the best for you and your family. You had four people in your family. Your mother, father, older brother (sorry if you don't have one) and you yourself. Also your pet puppy, Angel.

The city was far more different than where you were from. Unlike the countryside, it was full of noisy vehicles, public transportation and annoying rush hours. Here in Finchley, you went from a happy young child to a shy, lonely and somewhat miserable high schooler. Unlike your brother, who quickly befriended new people and was more extroverted. But it wasn't your fault that you were not a very popular person in school. It was just that you were in the start of learning new things. Although your new school was seemingly quite competitive than in the country, you did the best you can to put aside your misery and show that you were a good student. You were good at English, history, and P.E., but math and science was difficult but you tried and did the best you can on those two subjects.

One day at lunchtime, you sat by the empty table at the further back at the cafeteria like you always did. You often couldn't figure out who you want to sit with because you find people in your new school very cliquey. As you were about to take a bite into your sandwich, you heard someone's voice rang past by.

"Hi. Would you like to come join us?" It was a tall boy with caramel blonde hair with side swept bangs, and a handsome one at that. He had bright blue eyes. He was followed by two girls with long brown hair and another boy with darker hair.

"Yes, sure. Thanks." You nodded as you grabbed your tray of lunch and followed after the four children. You were glad that a group of people offered you to go sit with them, even though you didn't know each other. The five of you found a table in the middle part of the cafeteria where it had some more people than in the further back. The five of you set your lunch tray on the table and started to talk a bit.

"Thank you." You smiled.

"Are you new here?" The boy asked. You nodded.

"Yes." You answered. "I've been going here for like two weeks now."

"Oh.." He nodded. "I'm Peter. Peter Pevensie,"

"Hello, Peter." You smiled. "I'm (Y/N) (L/N)." You and Peter shook hands.

Peter gestured to the three people sitting with him. "These are my siblings; Susan, Lucy and Edmund."

They smiled and waved to me. They took turns shaking my hand.

"Nice to meet you all." I said.

"I'm the oldest, the second is Susan, Edmund is our younger brother, and Lucy is the youngest." Peter added.

"Oh nice." I nodded. "It's good to see that you four hang out together even at school." He nodded back.

"Yeah." Susan smiled. "So..uh..where are you from?" She asked.

"I'm originally from the countryside." I said. "My parents got a new job here in the city during summer so we moved here." The four children nodded.

"Oh..the countryside..that's a peaceful place." The boy with black hair, known as Edmund said. "How do you like the city so far?"

"It's alright." I shrugged. "I'm just trying to get used to all the stuff around here."

"You can hang around with us even outside of school." Peter suggested. "If that's what you want. Four of us can be your friends." His siblings nodded. "We'd like to help you."

Your face lit up. You have been waiting for this for so long.

"Oh yes!" You smiled. "I would like that. Thank you, Peter. Thanks, guys."

"No worries." Peter smiled back.

"Yeah, you're welcome." Susan and Lucy added. Edmund smiled as they welcomed you to their table. You became good friends with the Pevensies forever and ever. And you considered Peter as a second older brother of yours. Additionally, the five of you even get to spend time together in Narnia also other than in your world.
