You spent most of your spare block at school, reading and studying for tests in the library. You hardly had time playing games with friends during that period, or having long conversations with them thinking that it's a waste of time. Although you were the only smartest student in class, a lot of times you were by yourself from many other people in school. Maybe you have a lot of pressure to succeed in life? Or they didn't want to be around you because they're jealous of your intelligence? Oh boy...who knows?

After minutes of studying for your science test, you decided to take a break from it and find a book to read. Little did you know, someone entered the library to do some studying. When you found a book you were looking for, your hand and someone else's hand touched it at the same time. You turned to your side and saw a boy in a crisp navy blue uniform with black hair and tall-ish average height, and he was a good-looking one. He had a mischievous smile on his face.

"Oh, hi." You greeted the boy. "Were you going to read this?"

"Hi. Uh..not right now." He replied. "You go ahead first."

You rose your eyebrow. "Oh uh..are you sure?"

"Yes. I can just study for my test while I wait." He suggested.

"Okay." You said. "Thank you."

You took the book out of the shelf and both you and the boy headed to the table where you were sitting.

"I'm Edmund." The boy introduced himself. "Edmund Pevensie."

"Edmund. That's a nice name." You smiled. "I'm Y/N L/N."

"You've got a nice name yourself." Edmund smiled back. You blushed a little bit by his comment.

You started silent reading with your schoolwork laid aside while Edmund began his study for science test. It was quite a peaceful moment between both of you here in the school library. It has been quite a while since you've been around with someone in school that this could be the next chapter of your life. You enjoyed that book so much that you couldn't even stop reading it. But then you felt a little tired.

"Do you want to read this?" You asked Edmund. "I feel a bit sleepy."

"Sure." Edmund answered. "I'm thinking of borrowing this book if that's okay with you."

"Yeah, no worries." You said. "I don't mind. I can borrow it after you're done with it."

Edmund smiled as you passed the book to him. He thanked you for letting him borrow it. He then checked out the book and put it carefully in his school bag and both of you exited the library and headed back to your next class. You felt some feelings toward Edmund on the inside the moment you met him. But before you and Edmund enter your separate classrooms, the two of you looked at each other one more time.

"Is it ok if we can hang out sometime?" You asked him.

"Yes, of course." Edmund smiled. "You can hang around with me and my siblings. You're also going to love them. They're really nice and bubbly."

"For sure I will." You replied. Then you both exchanged each other your phone numbers and Edmund gave you wink as he entered the classroom on the other side of the hallway. You giggled as you blushed and went to your next class. This could be the first love you would and will experience with Edmund.
