Chapter 12: Blue... So Much Blue
The group skidded to a halt once they entered the Hall. The reason they stopped was that Ikaria was trying to use her magic to simultaneously lift Rylie's body from the altar and shred it.
The group immediately got out their weapons and started attacking Ikaria who was fully prepared and began shielding herself.
(Just so y'all know, I am not creating a full fight scene. I'm lazy, it's almost midnight, I don't know all the characters here, and I simply don't feel like it.)
The fighting went on for a while, the group getting somewhere, but Ikaria was strong and wasn't an easy opponent.
Then a screech surrounded the area, making everyone- including Ikaria- clutch their ears in pain.
Suddenly The Miscreation and several hundred Unchau entered the room.
The group immediately got up and started slashing at the Unchau, so they wouldn't be got off guard again. And Ikaria shielded herself again.
The Miscreation gave a slightly quieter roar and summoned shadows that gave such a powerful, overwhelming aura, that every person in the room felt a tiny bit suffocated.
It charged. The group prepared for impact.
It completely went past the group and started attacking Ikaria.
The group paused and then realized that the Unchau weren't attacking them. The monsters were growling at Ikaria.
The group then turned around to see what The Miscreation was doing.

Ikaria held under the attacks pretty well... For about five minutes.
The Miscreation broke the ghost's shield and used its shadows to elevate her by her neck. Then dark tendrils started stabbing her.
The group quickly covered Eden and Lucifer's ears and eyes. Then they turned away.
They didn't watch as The Miscreation's shadows choked, stabbed, ripped, and tore Ikaria.
They ignored her screams for the most part. Flinching here and there.
They never thought about how the ghost was solidified. Maybe The Miscreation was versed in other magic besides shadow magic.
That's probably it.
That's definitely it.

It got quiet and they slowly turned around, still covering the twin's eyes. They couldn't find any sign of Ikaria, minus purple strands of hair, the gemstone in the past general's circlet, and blood on the ground. Guess that solidifying spell was very powerful. They were somewhat scared by how much power the Miscreation had.
The Miscreation made a quiet sound and the Unchau bowed to it before fading.
The Miscreation then looked down at the group, its blue light for a face looking a bit brighter than normal.
A small flash of light and The Miscreation wasn't above them.
The twins tugged on their outfits and then pointed to a normal person's height.
The Empress was standing in front of them. Her eyes were puffy and red from crying. Her hair was tousled and out of place. It truly was a pitiful sight.
But the Empress didn't think so, cause her expression showed a cold, analytical stare.
She then bent down and started summoning something to her.
It was red.
Blood.
Ikaria's specifically.
The fourteen-year-old summoned a chalice and put the blood in it. She then turned around to face the altar right behind her. She raised the chalice and carefully put the blood on the altar, around Rylie's dead body.
"Hey!" Narrator shouted. That was incredibly disrespectful.
The Empress ignored her and went on with her business until the blood was gone.
The altar glowed and Rylie's body was missing.
The group immediately started shouting at the Empress, demanding to know what she had just done.
The Empress simply turned around and looked at them with that analyzing gaze again. She then smiled and bowed to the group.
Another flash of blue light and the Empress was gone.
The group looked at the altar with shock and then suddenly everything changed.
Dilapidated parts of the castle went back to their original place, looking brand new. The fog cleared and the sun shone down on everyone. Any mess was cleaned and anything broken was repaired. Color seeped back into the scenario.
Wow. They hadn't noticed how many blue decorations there were before.
While the group looked around in awe and jealousy since they didn't have magic cleaning. They didn't the sounds of someone running through the halls.
They did hear the sound of doors being slammed open though. Wait... Doors? When did the Hall have doors? Maybe they were one of the many broken things that were repaired during the magic cleaning.
They turned around and there stood a woman.
•°•°
I'm making a section for her outfit and jewelry for reasons ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

The group looked at the woman, astounded by how flashy she should've looked, but it didn't look flashy. Like, this was her everyday wear.
The woman sighed in relief. "There y'all are! I was scared I was going a bit loony." She said with a chuckle.
The group froze.
They knew that voice and that laugh.
They looked closer and realized that they knew this woman. Really well.
"Rylie...?"
