Author: Requested by an anonymous wattpad user. I'm not much familiar about Satoshi's attitude and personality. So, I'm sorry if he appeared to be OOC in this chapter.

Satoshi's feet lightly tapped at the ground. He was waiting for someone. Well, not actually someone since it's two people. Earlier, Seiko said that the three of them (meaning She, Naomi, and Satoshi himself) barely gets to hang out with each other anymore and decided they should do just that. It was Saturday after all. Of course, he agreed and Naomi did the same. Now, here he was. Waiting just beyond a park near their hometown. It was abnormally cold tonight so he adjusted his scarf and jacket before sighing in exasperation.

He's not getting impatient. He's only getting bored.

As if on cue, he saw a figure walking towards him while waving. It was Naomi. She was wearing a light-blue blouse and a long grey skirt that reaches her knee.

"Satoshi! How long have you been here?" She asked as she got near him.

"Not too long." came his immediate response.

He scratched the back of his neck wondering why in the world he suddenly feel so embarassed talking to her. He looked away when Naomi stared at him confusingly.

"Oh, I see......Seiko hasn't arrived yet?" She asked again as she pulled out her phone.

"No. Was she suppose to come with you?" Satoshi asked back. Naomi and Seiko were not just close friends, but also close neighbors as well.

Naomi sighed irritatedly which caught Satoshi's attention. He looked at her and saw that she was looking at her phone. Satoshi moved to her side and looked at the phone as well. He grinned slightly.

"Seiko......" Naomi grumbled in annoyance. Satoshi laughed a little and patted her shoulder.

"Well, since she's giving as an opportunity, why not just play along with her? She's clearly trying to amuse herself." He told her.

"I swear, I don't understand her sometimes....." She sighed once more. She let out a suprised yelp when Satoshi suddenly grabbed her hand.

"C'mon. I know a place we can go to pass time with."

*Later at said place....*

The two arrive at a simple and plain retaurant. It was nothing special but the customer service rendered there was marvelous. Naomi and Satoshi took their seats as the waiter approached them to take their orders. Naomi saw a giant blue teddy bear near the counter.

"What's that? Is it for sale as well?" She pointed at the bear.

The waiter looked at the direction she's pointing and let out a laugh.

"No. Not really. It was our grand prize to whoever will win our spicy noodle challenge." Satoshi and Naomi perked up at this.

"What do you mean?" This time, it was Satoshi who asked.

"Oh, are you interested in participating?" The waiter asked back with a grin.

"We just wanted to know. That's all" Naomi answered. Clearly irritated at the waiter.

The waiter just laughed it off. He then pointed at a customer across from them who was busy gulping down his food. Or foods, rather. A few bowls of noodles are lined up on his table. His face is red and was really sweaty.

"See that guy? He's actually one of the participants around here. Though, it doesn't seem like he's having any luck." He pointed out as the guy covered is mouth when he began coughing and rushed to the restrooms.

"Oh.....hmm...." Naomi looked down as if deep in thought. Satoshi stared at her.

"Do you want it, Naomi?" He asked her. Naomi's head shot up and looked at him.

"H-Huh!? Well....the bear is cute and all. But, I'm not sure if I could-"

"I'll win it for you."

Naomi looked at Satoshi. Is he serious? He's never really been fond of spicy food. If anything, he HATES spicy food. Wait....is he doing this for her?

"So, you'll participate then?" Asked the waiter.

Satoshi nodded. Naomi gaped.

"W-Wait, huh!? You're really going to-....a-are you serious!?" She exclaimed.

Satoshi just nodded at her then smiled.

"Alrighty then! Let's get started." The waiter said.

The waiter wrote something in his pocket notebook and began to head towards the kitchen. After a few moments, the kitchen door opened and the waiter walked out from it while pushing a cart with some bowls of noodled tidily arranged on it.

Satoshi gulped. He hates himself sometimes.

*A few minutes later...*

Suprisingly, Satoshi had successfully finished the challenge as he gulped down the final bow. He felt sa strong urge to vomit but he tried his best to hold it in. Naom cheered for him as the rest of the customer inside the resraurant applauded him. He should be feeling confident. But instead, he felt sick.

The waiter gave them theirr prize and a free extra food. After that, they exited the restaurant.

Naomi was skipping happily while hugging her new stuff animal with one hand and holding the packed food with the other. Satoshi just stared at her while drinking the bottled water he bought. He clutched his stomach as he felt a burning sensation around it. He gagged a bit and covered his mouth. Naomi turned to look at him.

"Satoshi.......daijubo?" She asked.

"*gag* *urk*....d-don't worry....I'm fine." He forced a smile as to not worry her any further.

"Ok. But.....why?"

"Huh? Why what?"

"Why did you participated? I mean, both of us knew that you're TERRIBLE with spicy food"

Satoshi grimaced at that. But then he started to blush as he rememberd the reason why.

"Well......I'd do anything if it means making you smile." He answered.

It was Naomi's turn to blush now. She mumbled a quiet 'thank you' at Satoshi. She knew that she heard him because she felt a warm palm gently patted the top of her head. She sighed in contentment.

It was getting dark so Satoshi offered to walk Naomi home. Naomi gladly accepted the offer.

The two walked in a comfortable silence. Both are just enjoying each other's company. Naomi shivered a bit because of the cold so Satoshi took off his jacket and gave it to her. She reluctantly accepted it. After a little while, they finally arrived at Naomi's house. But there was no sign of Seiko.

"Hmm....I thought she would be waiting for us out here since she said she was staying over tonight." Naomi said while looking around.

"Maybe she has some stuffs to take care of? She's a busy girl, after all." Satoshi reasoned as he adjusted his scarf once more.

Naomi sighed. But then she turned to face Satoshi. She smiled warmly at him.

"Satoshi.....arigato. For...u-uhh...." Naomi's not really good with words so she started to stutter. Her face turning beet red.

But for Satoshi, the look on the brunette's face is enough for him to know what she was trying to say. He leaned down and lightly kissed Naomi on the cheek. Both of their faces began to blush a darker shade of red.

"Your welcome....." He said. Naomi smiled.

The two just stared at each other for a little while when Satoshi's phone started ringing.

"Huh? I got a text. It's from Yuka! U-Uhh, sorry Naomi. I gotta go! Say hi to Shinohara for me!" He was nervous a bit as he hugged her tightly before running off. Naomi was startled of his sudden actions so she didn't move even after he left.

She then felt a pair of arms wrapped around her waist. She flinched a bit but heard a very familiar giggle. She turned around and tightly hugged her best friend who immediately hugged her back.

"Seiko, baka! What do you think you're doing?" Her voice is muffled when she buried her face on the other's shoulder but Seiko heard her nonetheless.

"Hehe. There's nothing wrong about hugging your bestfriend, Naomi! And isn't that what you're doing right now?" Seiko giggled. If she was jealous before, that feeling is gone now.

Naomi laughed while shaking her head and slowly released Seiko from the hug.

"Sorry....I just missed you." She finally answered. Seiko just smirked at her.

"I highly doubt that. With Mochida-kun around, I bet you never wanted the night to end! Maybe you also wanted to- mmph!" Naomi pushed the teddy bear she was holding onto Seiko's face to shut her up the moment she saw the girl's perverted expression.

"G-Geez! Be quiet, already! C'mon. Let's head inside." She said while still blushing.

"Right behind ya'!" Seiko had clung on Naomi's arm as the two went to enter the house.

Once inside, Naomi took of Satoshi's jacket and placed down her stuffed animal on the couch before heading towards the kitchen to re-heat her packed food. Seiko stared at the stuffs Naomi brought back with her. All resembling how much Satoshi really cares for her. She pulled out her phone before deleting a message:
