Three days later, Ayumi called her other friends and told them to come at Seiko's apartment for her to explain the situation to them. Yoshiki went too, of course.

"Wait, huh!? Are you guys serious!?" Mayu knew they were telling the truth but she had to be sure. Morishige was standing next to her and doesn't seem fazed at all (doesn't mean it's none of his concern).

"If I remembered correctly, Nakashima here knows who the culprit is. And both of you have the address where Shinohara is being kept. Yet, you're still here and not doing anything about it? Shameful..." He said as he adjusted his glasses.

Yoshiki seemed anger by this.

"What the hell do you want us to do, then!? Go there unprepared!? We saw what they DID to Shinohara! Facing them without backup is like digging our own graves!!" The blonde was clearly shouting.

Ayumi grabbed his arm as if telling him to keep his voice down. The group where currently at the living room of the apartment. Mayu made her way to the sofa where Naomi is sitting to comfort her.

"It'll be ok, Nakashima-san. I know you're worried. Shinohara-san will be fine. You should know that, right?" Mayu said in a comfortimg voice.

Naomi just shook her head and hugged Mayu tightly.

"I don't even know anymore, Suzumoto-san....*sob* *sob*......I don't know...."

The other three held there heads down trying to think of a way to help their friend.

"I wonder why Mochida-kun didn't show up." Mayu suddenly said.

Both Ayumi and Yoshiki looked away because they know that Satoshi and Seiko has a growing rivalry between each other.

"I'm going to the police station." Yoshiki stated.

"And what exactly are you going to do there?" Morishige asked.

"We clearly can't face those guys on our own and we know where they are. We'll just let the police in this town handle it." Yoshiki answered as he went towards the door. But then, he stopped just as he was about to reach the doorknob.

"You guys stay here. I have a feeling that they're after Nakashima as well. Keep an eye on her." After that, he went out.

Later that day.....

Yoshiki was currently walking downtown and still thinking about how to handle their current situation. Because he's distracted, however. He wasn't looking where he was going and ended up bumping into someone.

"Gh-! Sorry, I didn't mean to-" He started to say.

"Huh? Onii-chan? Where are you going?" He was surprised to recognize the voice. It was from his little sister, Miki. She has yellow hair and green eyes.

"Miki? Oh, umm....just, trying to clear my head." Of course he can't tell her what's really going on. That would arise more questions.

Then, he saw a boy running towards them. He seems very familiar to Yoshiki. He has brown hair and blue eyes.

"*pant* *pant*....well? Did you find anything?" He asked Miki. The latter shook her head.

"No. I was about to ask him when you arrive. By the way, Onii-chan. This is Yuu. He's looking for his big sister." Miki said.

Yoshiki didn't know how to respond. Yuu looked at him. It seems like he recognized Yoshiki as well.

"Hey, you're one of Onee-san's classmates, right? Your name....was it....Kishinuma-san?" He asked.

Yoshiki still didn't say a word.

"Onii-chan? Is there something wrong?"

"H-Huh? Oh, uhh....Sorry, I got distracted. Ehehe..." Yoshiki scratched the back of his neck. The two kids just sighed.

"Like we were saying earlier, we're currently looking for Yuu's sister. Have you seen her, Onii-chan?" Yoshiki flinched at the question.

"She told us that she'll visit us yesterday. We tried calling her but she's not answering. And when we tried visiting her, Naomi onee-san is the only one there. We tried asking her where she is, but....she said she doesn't know either...and she's kinda crying." Yuu explained.

Yoshiki tried to think of a way to answer.

Shinohara won't be too happy about this....

"No. Try asking around. I'm sure she's just busy with work...." Yoshiki said as he looked away.

"Oh....I 'guess. But, I'm still going to try looking for her. Thanks anyway, Kishinuma-san" Yuu started walking away.

Miki stared at her brother which made Yoshiki kind of nervous.

"What is it?" He asked.

".....I know you, Onii-chan....You're not the type of person to be oblivious in these kind of situations. You....you know something.....don't you?" Miki answered.

Yoshiki only patted the younger girl's head.

"Look, you guys don't need to know about this. Ok? Everything will be alright."

"......ok." With that said, Miki walked away and followed Yuu.

Yoshiki slowly shook his head before he continued walking to his destination. When he finally arrived near the police station, he saw Satoshi walking towards him.

"Huh? Satoshi? What are you doing here, man?" He asked.

"You're heading to the Police station, aren't you?" Satoshi sternly asked back.

"umm....yeah? Why'd you-" Satoshi suddenly grabbed both of his arms.

"You CAN'T go there! you shouldn't!" He started to yell.

Yoshiki pushed Satoshi away.

"What's wrong with you!? I'm trying to help Shinohara here. And you're trying to stop me!? Look, I know you and Shinohara aren't in good terms but-" He was interrupted again.

"NO! you don't understand! I KNOW what's going on, but you've got to listen to me!"

Yoshiki was really confused now. Satoshi seems to be panicking. But why? And he said that he knows what's going on. What did he mean by that? Maybe he need to trust him first if he wants to understand Satoshi better.

"*sighs*.......alright. What do you know about what's going on right now?" He asked defeatedly.

"You know those guys that kidnapped Shinohara? They're actually one of the police officers around here." His voice lowered into a whisper.

Yoshiki pondered over what his friend just told him.

"hmm.....I didn't know that. Wait, does this means-?" He was cut off by his classmate.

"Not just that. They're also one of the higher ranks or postion among all of the cops here for that matter. If you tried to tell their men, they might try to kill you instead." Satoshi warned.

"Wait a second, how did you know all of this?" Yoshiki tried to keep up with Satoshi about giving him all these informations. It's still a bit confusing to him. And then something else popped in his mind that he also wanted to asked.

"And.....how should I know that you aren't lying?"

Satoshi just sighed.

"Dude, it's true that me and Shinohara will never get along, but....she's still one of my frie- classmates. I would try to help her if she ever gets in trouble 'cause I know she'll do the same with me if we switched places." Satoshi tried his best to explain without overdoing it because they're clearly running out of time.

"....and to answer your first question, I was on my way to buy medicince for Yuka because she's sick when I heard Shinohara's name being mentioned by three guys just in front of me. I hid myself somewhere then I heard them that if anyone ever find out what happened and tried to accuse them of being the culprits, they ordered their men to immediately shoot or kill whoever they are. I swear, I'm not lying. Why would I lie about something like this?" He continued.

Yoshiki slowly nodded.

"......I see. What should we do, then?" Yoshiki was out of ideas on how they're going to do about the situation when his phone startes ringing.

"Huh? Who's-...wait, Shinozaki's calling me?"

"You should answer it."

Yoshiki did as he was told. He answered the call and put it on loudspeaker.

"KISHINUMA-KUN!!! WE NEED YOU BACK HERE RIGHT THIS INSTANT!!!"

Both Yoshiki and Satoshi flinched at the loud voice that came from the blonde's cellphone.

"S-Shinozaki!? What's going on!?" He immediately asked.

"Just hurry and get back here right n- HEY!!" Ayumi's voice was cut off by something. Or rather someone. Loud shuffling and gun shots can still be heard from the other line.

"Shinozaki! SHINOZAKI!! Dammit! Satoshi. We should head back first at Shinohara's place." Yoshiki didn't need to explain everything to Satoshi because he already heard everything.

"I brought my motorcycle. Let's use it". He said.

"lead the way". With that, the two took a mad dash to get Satoshi's motorcycle and head back to Seiko's apartment.

As the two arrived at the apartment, they saw two guys running out from the inside and rode on a black motorcycle parked just in front of the place.

"HEY! You two! Where do you think you're going!?" Yoshiki shouted. Satoshi speeded up his own motorcycle to catch up with the other two.

"We won't let you guys escape!" He emphasized this by bumbing the front of his motorcycle to the other's bumber.

"Yoshiki. Stand up. I'll try to get close to them. Then you jump and tackle them out of their ride." He told the blonde.

"WHAT!? Are you insane!?" Yoshiki shouted at him.

"No. I'm serious. C'mon, Yoshiki. You're physically stronger than most of our classmates. You can do it!"

"*groans* argh.....fine."

With those said, Satoshi increased the speed of his vehicle and went near to the side of the two people in front of them.

"Now, Yoshiki!!" He shouted again. Yoshiki stood up from where he is sitting and lunged at them. Knocking down their ride in the process.

As they fell to the ground, the two tried getting up but Yoshiki grabbed the back of their jackets and pulled them down. Satoshi got off of his mototrcycle and helped Yoshiki.

"What's the deal with you two!? What did you do at Shinohara's place!?" Satoshi grabbed the front of their collars.

"You better start talkin' now or we won't think twice about beating the crap out of you two!" Yoshiki threatened them.

"W-Wait! Please don't hurt us! We were only following orders!!" One of them said as he held both arms over his head.

Yoshiki and Satoshi looked at each other. Then back at the other two.

"Who's orders?" Yoshiki narrowed his eyes.

Before they could answer, a gunshot can be heard and the two immediately fell limp. They've been shot but the shooter successfully hidden themselves well. Satoshi and Yoshiki was both startled by this and released their holds of them.

"What...the-?" Was all Yoshiki could say.

The two looked around but saw no sign of anyone's presence other than the two of them.

"*sighs* Let's go back there and check on our friends first. Then we'll try to figure out what's going on." Satoshi stated as he made his way back to his vehicle to which Yoshiki followed suit.

After arriving back at the apartment again, the door was left open and they immediately went inside. They saw Ayumi and Naomi sitting on the sofa of the apartment's living room. Ayumi was bandaging Naomi's arm.

"What happened here?" Asked Yoshiki as he got near them.

"There's been a shoot out. Nakashima was shot near the shoulder but those guys are really terrible shooters. We managed to dodge a lot of their gunshots. After they left, Morishige-kun and Suzumoto-san went out to call for help." Ayumi explained.

Satoshi looked at Naomi and she did the same. They stared at each other for a minute before looking away at the same time. It seems that the tension between them wasn't gone yet. Ayumi and Yoshiki felt awkward because of the silence. Until the delinquent spoke up.

"What are we gonna do now? We can't ovbiously ask for help to the cops." He said.

"What? Why not?" Ayumi asked still tending to Naomi's wound.

After telling her about what happened earlier to them and about the chase they had with the two guys, Ayumi sighed.

"It looks like the culprit here is clearly more powerful than we thought." She said.

Naomi stood up, startling the three people in the room.

"Suzumoto-san and Morishige are heading there right now! They might get in trouble!" She exclaimed.

"T-That's right! What do we do!?" Ayumi shouted. Clearly panicking.

"......We need to separate. Shinozaki, Naomi. You two need to follow them right now. Me and Yoshiki will find a way to rescue Shinohara." Satoshi stated.

At first, everyone looked at him, shocked. They never thought that Satoshi could act so serious and leader-like. Naomi stepped closer to him.

"NO! I want to rescue Seiko, too! Take me with you, Satoshi!" She said.

"No. It's too dangerous. I swear, Naomi. If anything happens to you, I will never forgive myself." He grabbed Naomi's shoulders tightly as if trying to convince her to just do what he says.

"Don't you think I feel the same way about Seiko!? What if something happens to her right now!? I will NEVER forgive myself either!!" Naomi shouted at him. Satoshi flinched a little at the mention of Seiko's name.

Yoshiki noticed this and patted Satoshi's shoulder. He looked at him.

"Look. If she wants to go, let her. Besides, It's not like she's just gonna do what you say. If you won't allow her to come, she will find a way to do so. She's just as stubborn as you are, You know?" He grinned.

Ayumi held both Naomi's hands and gave her a piece of paper.

"This is the address that those kidnappers left. I think that you two will do a great job of saving her if you guys worked together." Ayumi said. Naomi quietly thanked her.

Satoshi just sighed. It's not like he's against with Naomi going with him. He just doesn't want her to be in danger. Oh, well. It's not like he can't protect her if she does happen to be in danger.

"....fine. Naomi will come with me. But Yoshiki will assist Shinozaki in exchange. You're fine with that, right?" He faced the blonde.

"Gh-!? W-Well, I 'guess somebody needs to help Shinozaki." He blushed a little while saying that.

"Good. You two take care, now. Alright?" He said. The two just nodded and then ran out of the apartment.

"Let's go, Naomi." He held out a hand. Naomi slowly took it.

"Don't worry.....we'll save her."

Naomi nodded at him while trying to prevent herself from tearing up. To say she was afraid was a vast understatement. She was downright terrified. But she'll gladly risk her life if it means saving her girlfriend.

Don't worry Seiko....we're coming.

After a while....

Naomi and Satoshi arrived at the place that was stated in the paper. It was dark already and it seems like not a lot of people live out there. When they saw a peculiar-looking house, both of them got off of the motorcycle and hid themselves on a nearby bush. The house looks expensive. Whoever lives there must be filthy rich.

"You mean she's still ALIVE!?" A female voice can be heard from the inside.

"Y-Yes....but don't worry! I prevented them from knowing our location!" This time, a male's voice can be heard. And he sounds afraid.

Before long, the door of the house bursted open and a guy with a black jacket was thrown out. He fell to the ground and clutched his stomach while coughing. Two people went out of the house and stood in front of him. One was a red-haired guy and the other one was....

"It's her!!" Naomi quietly shouted. Satoshi held one of her arms to prevent her from confronting them.

"That's not the point, you piece of sh*t! I told you to get rid of that b*tch, right!?" The girl said.

Naomi tried getting up but Satoshi stopped her. Looks like her anger is getting the better of her.

"L-Look, I swear we'll kill her next time. J-Just please, give me another chance to do so!!" He pleaded.

"*sighs* How irritating. Get rid of him, Rick." Was the girl's only answer before going back inside the house.

The man named Rick stepped closer to the fallen guy and pulled out a gun from his back.

"You heard the lady, right? Well....it was nice knowing ya'." He pointed the gun at him.

"W-Wait, please! My sister is sick, she NEEDS me!" He practically screamed.

"Then you shouldn't have accepted this job, then." With that said, he pulled the trigger.

A loud gunshot eachoed around them. Rick sighed before picking the corpse up and leaving to find a place to dispose of the body. Satoshi didn't realized that Naomi was clutching tightly at his uniform and sobbing quietly. He gently patted her head.

"It's ok, Naomi. They're gone now." He said.

"D-Did you see that? T-They....they just killed him mercilessly. And he even said his sister was sick......I'm really worried about Seiko...*sob* sob*" Naomi continued sobbing.

Satoshi looked at the place where the guy was shot before looking back at Naomi.

"There was three of them, right? Three guys. The kidnappers of Shinohara. Then there's that girl, too....hmm..." Satoshi was thinking how they could possibly get inside without confronting the other two guys because they would clearly have guns. He and Naomi were no match for that.

Wait, there's only two of them now, right? Maybe he could....

"Naomi. I got an idea" Satoshi grabbed Naomi's shoulders again.

"W-What is it?" Naomi asked.

"Look. I'll try to get those other two guys to chase me away from here. After that, you need to get inside this house and find Shinohara." He lowered his voice into a whisper.

"Wait, what!? You're serious!? B-But....they might try to kill you! A-And....I can't ovbiously use the front door...." Naomi almost shouted but was able to control herself.

"Don't worry. It'll be fine." He went back to where he left his motorcycle. He pulled a rope with a hook from it's compartment before running back to Naomi and handing it to her.

"My dad used to be a hiker but after an accident, he never wanted to hike again. I usually have this in my motorcycle for safekeeping. Use it to get to the window at the second floor there. I'm guessing that's the girl's bedroom." He pointed at a window just a few feet above them.

Naomi shook her head. But Satoshi just grabbed her hands firmly and sqeezed it. Naomi stared at him, at his hands that were gripping hers, then back at him again. She shakily sighed before hugging him tightly.

"D-Don't you dare get caught out there, Satoshi. You hear me? If you do, I....I-I....*whimper*" Naomi was shivering a lot by now. Satoshi didn't mind the contact. He wanted it to last, actually. But if they don't hurry up soon, his plan will be ruined. They only have ONE chance here and failure is NOT an option.

"I'll be fine. But, what about you? Are you sure you're ok with this?" He asked her when they broke the hug.

"Well....i-it's not like I have much of a choice now, right? Besides, Seiko needs me. I HAVE to do this." She answered.

Satoshi nodded in understanding before going back to his motorcycle. He started it which created a noise. He moved to the front of the house. The red-haired guy could be back any minute. He doesn't want to leave Naomi by herself. But he won't let those guys hurt Seiko either.

"HEY!!!! RELEASE SHINOHARA RIGHT NOW!!!" he shouted at the top of his lungs.

Just as he expected, the door opened revealing to guys to which he 'guessed was also the kidnappers.

"What was that, punk!?" One of them said.

"So you guys are the ones who kidnapped her!! I'm gonna-" Satoshi was cut off because the other guy spoke up.

"You what? Gonna call the cops on us? Like that will do you any g-OUCH!" He was hit by the back of his neck by his companion.

"ENOUGH!! Let's just get rid of this little f*cker." With that said, he pulled out a gun.

Satoshi immediately rode off.

Inside the house...

Maddie entered her bedroom and silently closed the door behind her. With a flick of a switch, the room was bathe in a blinding light....and it also revealed a tied-up girl on a chair just beside her bed. And this girl was Seiko. Said girl was unconscious and was woken up by the the sound of the door opening. She flinched at the blinding light but tried to look up at her captor. A frown spreading across her face.

"You little sh*t......" She murmured.

Maddie laughed a little before kneeling down in front of her. She cupped the other girl's face with both of her hands and kissed her forcefully. Seiko, of course, fought back. Her feet wasn't tied so she kicked Maddie hard on the stomach just enough to get her personal space back.

"Do that again and I'll f*cking murder you..." She threatened. Her eyes narrowing to glare at the coughing girl on the ground.

Unsurprisingly, Maddie just smirked at her and straightened herself up. But before she can do anything, the two guys from earlier called out to her from downstairs.

"Yo, Maddie! A guy just showed up earlier and he seems to be acquainted with Shinohara! Should we chase him?" He said.

"You idiot! Of course you have to! He could tell his other friends about this place! You two better catch him and kill him or else both of you are in serious trouble! Now go!" She shouted at them.

"A-Are you sure you're fine with being by yourself here?" The other guy asks.

"I'll be fine, Nash. Just make sure you and Ty won't let him escape." She answered.

"Alright." With that said, they ended their conversation. Maddie was deep in thought for a moment before going downstairs. Grinning.

Besides....I'm not alone, after all...

Outside....

Naomi quickly hid herself just in time when the two guys ran out of the house and rode their motorcycles. She's pretty sure they're going after Satoshi so she can't waste any more time. She threw the rope upwards. The hook was successfully clasped at the corner of the closed window. She silently but hastily climbed her way up there. Luckily, this window wasn't designed with a lock so she was able to easily open it. She entered inside without looking around. She carefully closed it back after pulling the rope with her.

"Naomi?......" She heard someone weakly uttered her name.

She turned around and saw Seiko tied up to a chair facing away from her. She threw herself to the other girl and hugged her from behind. But she tried to be as quiet as possible.

"Seiko! I-I.....are you hurt? Gosh, I was so worried!" She quietly shouted and sobbed.

Seiko moved her head a bit to nuzzle at Naomi's cheeks that are quickly stained with tears.

"I'm fine, Naomi.....a bit roughed up, but I can manage....." Seiko groaned a bit. Naomi released her from the hug and tried untying the knots of the rope.

"I'll get you out of here, I swear...."

"N-No, wait. You need to hide. She could come back here any second!"

"B-But....what about-"

None of them noticed the footsteps that are getting closer to where they are until it was too late. The door swung open and Naomi didn't have enough time to act.

"Oh my, I'm guessing you came here to visit her?" Maddie innocently asked. Naomi stood up and glared at her.

"No! I will take Seiko with me and I won't let her suffer any longer! And no one, not even YOU, will be able to prevent me from doing so!" She shouted.

"Fine then, let's play. I call this game, DIE B*TCH!!"

Maddie pulled out a knife from her pocket and charged at Naomi. She didn't dodge on time and ended up getting tackled to the floor. They fought for a while and Maddie ended up straddling her. She brought the knife down aiming at Naomi's throat when she caught it just in time but ended up getting stabbed in the palm instead. She let out a cry but maintained her composure and kicked Maddie off of her. Maddie was about to attack her again. When she suddenly got hit by a chair. Seiko had stood up from where she previously were and had use the chair as a weapon even though it's still tied to her. The chair was heavy so she was forced to sit on it again. Naomi hurried to her side and hastily cut the rope with the hook of her own. Seiko quickly stood up and pulled Naomi down with her just when Maddie was about to strike at them with her knife. Narrowly dodging it. Seiko got a cut on her arm but she ignored it and kicked the girl on the stomach again. She pulled Naomi out of the room before Maddie could even recover and chase after them.

When they made it out of the house, they heard gunshots. Seiko pulled Naomi to the side of the house and hid there.

It turns out that Rick has returned. Great. Just great.

"Shinohara.....I know you're out there. It's best to just give up. You wouldn't want your friend to get hurt, don't you?" Just as he said that, two other guys arrived holding what looked like a person with his hands tied behind his back. The two guys threw him on the ground which caused him to cough. It was Satoshi.

"Dammit...." Seiko cursed under her breath. Naomi was shivering beside her and couldn't take the pressure anymore.

She doesn't want anybody to get hurt. And these guys will surely won't show them any mercy. This was inevitable. Either she let Seiko take care of this or take matters to her own hands. The latter seems agreeable since she's much of a risk-taker anyway. She broke free from Seiko's grip and ran to face the three men who were about to shoot Satoshi. She kneeled down in front of them.

"P-Please, don't hurt him!! I beg of you!" She yelled. Seiko followed her and stood just in front of Naomi to place a protective arm in front of her.

Rick smiled. Children this days are very easy to fool. Just when he was about to approach them, the sound of police cars can be heard. He turned around to see those cars approaching them and they were clearly not from around here which he doesn't have any control from.

That means they are cops from another country.

Seiko pulled Satoshi up from the ground then ran to find a hiding spot. She was pulling Naomi's wrist with one hand and Satoshi's front uniform with the other so they could keep up with her. Loud and unstable gunshots can be heard again from a distance. Seiko found a fence to what seems to be an abandon house and decided to hide there for the mean time. The three went inside and Seiko quickly closed the door.

"I....*pant*....think we...lost...*pant*....them" Seiko was clearly out of breath. She then felt a stinging pain on her arm and looked over to see trails of blood flowing from the previous wound that she recieved earlier from Maddie's knife. Speaking of that knife, she looked at Naomi and saw her trying to put pressure on her wounded palm. She looked back at Seiko and forced a pained smile. Satoshi found a sharp debris nearby and used it to free himself from the rope. He took off his white uniform and ripped it into two cloth (he had a blue T-shirt underneath). He began tying one cloth to Seiko's arm and the other one to Naomi's palm. Naomi thanked him quietly while Seiko just turned her head away. The three just sat there for who-knows-long when they heard someone calling out to them with a megaphone.

"Nakashima-san!! Mochida-kun!! Wherever you are, please! You can come out now! It's ok! The cops took care of everything!" The voice was coming from a distance but it definitely belongs to Ayumi.

The three sighed with relief. It's over, finally. But all of them are exhausted and out of breath so they can't really just go to them. Seiko decided to just let them know where they are.

"We're over here, Shinozaki!!" She shouted. Her voice cracked slightly.

"Shinohara-san!? Are you guys alright!? We're coming to get you, now! Hang in there!!" Ayumi shouted back.

Seiko decided to close her eyes for a while and leaned a bit to the wall behind them. She felt someone moved to her side and clung to her uninjured arm. It was Naomi. She rested her head on Seiko's shoulder. Soon enough, the girl was fast asleep. Seiko smiled and kissed the top of her head. She turned to look at Satoshi who was looking away from the two.

"Thank you....Mochida" She said silently. Satoshi looked at her. Surprised. But then smiled a little.

"For what? You guys nearly got captured again because of me." He told her bitterly.

"No. Not really. If anything, I'm the one to blame here. You guys didn't have to go through all of this trouble if I wasn't....." She couldn't really say the word, "kidnapped" because it would leave a very bad taste on Seiko's tongue. She sighed instead.

Satoshi just nodded in response.

"You're wrong, also. It's not your fault that....uhh....t-that you were....you know..." Satoshi doesn't want to damage any more of what's left of the rebellious girl's dignity.

"Yeah, but thanks anyways for taking care of Naomi and keeping her away from harm."

"G-Geez.....that's like, a natural thing for a friend to do." Satoshi scratched the back of his neck. Clearly embarassed of their current conversation. Then his grin turned to a frown at the mention of "friends". He looked down and sighed. He felt a light bump on his shoulder and saw that Seiko held up her fist at his direction as if asking for a fistbump.

"Let's get along from now on......for Naomi's sake...." She said. Satoshi smiled and also held up his fist to slightly bump it with Seiko's.
