Jimin's POV

"Hey"

"Jimin"

"Ouch" I whined as Taehyung flicked the side of my head.

He sat down next to me at the table.

"You have been staring at your noodles for half an hour now" Taehyung said drinking his iced americano.

"Oh, I didn't realize anyone had noticed" I said eating my now cold noodles.

"What have you been thinking about?" Taehyung asked while loudly slurping his drink.

"Ah it's really nothing" I said.

"It can't be if you were staring at your noodles for half an hour" Taehyung said.

"Is something wrong with Jisoo?" He asked.

"No, Jisoo is good" I said.

"Did someone else quit?" He asked.

"Yesterday yes" I said.

"Who?" He asked.

"Jisoo's nanny" I said honestly.

"Oh when does the nanny stop working?" Taehyung asked.

"Today" I said with a sigh.

"Who's looking after Jisoo today?" He asked panicked.

"The new nanny" I said drinking some water.

"Are you nervous about how it will go with the new nanny and Jisoo?" Taehyung asked.

I shook my head.

"Then what is it?" Taehyung whined.

"Look, if I tell you, you can't be all loud about what I say" I said.

He scoffed.

"I ain't normally like that" Taehyung whined.

I bit my lip.

"The new nanny is young and extremely hot" I said.

"OH MY GOD YOU HAVE A CRUSH ON SOMEONE!?" Taehyung squealed.

"Yah!" I whacked his arm as everyone clearly heard him.

"What do you mean Jimin has a crush on someone?" Jungkook said with a chuckle sitting down at the table.

"Fuck now you have done it" I said sighing.

"Jimin got a new nanny for Jisoo as the other one quit and apparently she's young and hot" Taehyung told Jungkook as RM sat down also clearly interested.

"I never said I had a crush on her though" I whined.

"Hush, you were staring at your bowl for 30 minutes thinking about her. How can you tell me that you don't have a crush on her after you did that?" Taehyung whined.

"Shut up. I was more wondering why I found her attractive because I don't want anyone other then Aera" I said.

"Are you sure? It's been multiple years now Jimin. It's possible you are moving on" RM said.

"No" I said shaking my head.

"I refuse to let this women change my mind, she can't just come into my life and change the way I feel about Aera. No one is taking her place" I said shaking my head.

"Jimin, you are so unhappy. Why don't you explore the fact you find her attractive for once, she may make you happy again. I'm not saying she has to take Aera's spot in your heart, but maybe your heart can make room for this other women as well as Aera" Jungkook said.

I furrowed my eyebrows.

"I don't think I am ready for that. I don't even understand what I find so attractive about the nanny" I said.

"Can we meet her?" Taehyung asked waving his eyebrows.

"If I let you do that, you would likely say something stupid and embarrass me more. I mean I got stuck staring at her last night until Jisoo said I was staring at her. That was already extremely embarrassing" I said whining.

"Oh come on. I won't say anything this time. I just want to see what this girl is like if she's managed to stay in your head" Taehyung said.

"Fine. You can come over later" I said.

"Can we all come?" J-hope said walking in with Yoongi.

"Agreed" Jin said walking in.

"What, why?" I whined.

"We listened to the conversation outside of this room in case it was personal" Jin said honestly.

Yoongi laughed.

"I want to see this mysterious pretty girl" Jungkook yelled.

"Just a reminder that you are engaged Jungkook" RM said getting up from the table.

"I know that. I don't want someone else. I just want to see who Jimin has his eyes on" Jungkook said.

"We are all coming to your house after this" Taehyung said patting my shoulder.

I sighed.

Of course they are all coming...

I try to say something privately to my closest friend and he can't keep his mouth shut...

Aish... My luck...

Minji's POV

I giggled.

"You have flour on your face darling" I said rubbing flour off Jisoo's face.

She giggled as she started trying to eat the raw cookie mixture.

"Honey, that may taste good now however it will taste much better once it's cooked" I said taking it gently from her hand before putting it back on the tray.

"Can you open the oven door for me. Make sure you use the handle" I said.

She climbed down off the stool and opened the oven for me.

I put the tray in the oven.

Then I closed it.

I turned to Jisoo who was sucking on her fingers.

I giggled.

"Do you like baths?" I asked seeing the flour on her arms.

She nodded.

"Come on then" I said lifting her up and in between my arms.

I took her into the main bathroom in the house.

"Jisoo" I said softly.

"Yes Minji?" She said with a cute smile.

Her cheeks forming dimples.

"Did Seulgi wash your hair and things?" I asked and she nodded.

"Okay" I said helping her take her clothes off.

"Do you think my dad is handsome?" She said as I pulled off her underwear.

I blushed lightly as I leaned over running water into the bath.

"He is handsome" I said honestly as I sat back down on my knees.

"I think he likes you" She said with a smile as she sat down on her towel waiting for the bath to be run.

I blushed more.

"Why would you say that?" I asked looking at her.

"I've never seen him look at anyone the way he looked at you last night" She said.

"Come get in" I said feeling the hot water still filling up the bath.

I helped her in.

"Is it too hot?" I asked and she shook her head.

"You should get to know him" Jisoo said.

I giggled.

My attempt to change the subject off of my bias from BTS didn't work.

"Why?" I asked.

"My dad doesn't like me seeing him upset. However I know he is. He's not happy. And he tries his best to hide it from me but I always hear when he cries. It's so horrible listen to, and I know I can't cheer him up. I remind him to much of Aera and he's so heart broken" Jisoo said.

I felt my eyes watering hearing what she seems to be secretly witnessing.

"Minji, you make me happy. So maybe you can make my daddy happy too" She said as I turned off the tap.

I smiled softly.

"I will do my best" I said with a nod.

"He will seem rude at the start but he can be lovely. He also doesn't want love so he may try and block you out in fear that you aren't just being friendly to him. But once he stops doing that, he will like you. I know it" Jisoo said as I started to rub shampoo into her hair now sitting behind her.

"I will try for you if you want. However if you think it's causing him more pain then good, tell me" I said to her.

"Thank you. I'd do anything to see him happy again" She said.

I smiled.

She is so sweet.

I detached the bath head and turned it on washing out the shampoo.

"Minji" She said as I started to put conditioner in her hair.

"Yes?" I said.

"Do you have children?" She asked.

"No" I said.

"You would be a good mother" She said.

I smiled.

"Do you have a partner?" She asked.

"No, I don't" I said washing out her conditioner.

"You ask a lot of questions" I said now getting on my knees to the side of her.

"I know" She said with a small chuckle.

I started to wash her limbs with her some soap then wash it off.

Then I got her out of the bath and dried her body as she shivered.

"Do you want to see my favorite dress?" She said as I wrapped her up in a towel.

"Sure" I said lifting her into her bedroom.

"Just let me quickly get the cookies out of the oven so they don't burn, but you can find the dress while I am getting the cookies out of the oven" I said.

I walked into the lounge and then grabbed the cookies out of the oven and put them on a cooling rack before I ran back to Jisoo to make sure she wasn't getting into trouble.

She smiled as I walked in.

I helped her put on a cute pink dress.

Then she grabbed a denim jacket.

"Help me put it on" She said handing it to me.

"Arms out" I said.

She did as she was told while jumping up and down happily.

I put it over her arms.

"Sit down here between my legs" I said to her as I sat down on her bed.

She did as I told her to do by sitting on the floor in front of me and I pulled her hair up into a ponytail.

Then I wrapped it up into a bun.

I heard voices in the other room but ignored it.

"You look so cute" I said smiling as she stood in the mirror twirling around.

The door to her room opened more.

Her little head looked up.

"Daddy~" She squealed running over to him.

"Aw you look so adorable" He chimed kneeling down.

"I brought around some friends that you like" He said sweetly to Jisoo.

"Is TaeTae here!?" She squealed.

Does she mean Kim Taehyung!?

He nodded.

"Ah move" She said pushing Jimin aside.

He sighed.

"My own child like's Taehyung more then me" He shouted earning laughter from the friends he brought over.

I giggled lightly.

"Come" He said looking at me as he got off his knees.

I got up and he grabbed my wrist leading me into the lounge.

"Jisoo~" Taehyung squealed picking her up.

My heart raced seeing the other BTS members standing in Jimin's lounge.

Their is so many attractive men in one house, like god damn, I don't belong here...

A lot of the members from BTS looked at me.

"This is Minji, Jisoo's new nanny" Jimin said introducing me to them before letting go of my wrist.

He walked away running his hand through his hair.

"Jimin-ah" Jin said.

"Yes?" Jimin asked going to get a drink from the kitchen sink.

"Minji knows none of us and you ditched her" Jin said.

"Ah, to be fair, I don't know him either" I said speaking up.

"Hold up" Taehyung said putting Jisoo down.

Taehyung walked over to me lifting up my chin.

Jimin's POV

"Taehyung don't be weird please" I whined feeling my cheeks start to heat up.

When I saw Minji in Jisoo's room, my heart melted.

She looked different today but was so pretty.

Today she wore a very cute fitted dress over a white blouse.

It showed off her waist perfectly.

"How is someone touching my face already not weird?" Minji said.

Taehyung chuckled.

"Sorry, you are very pretty" Taehyung said.

I sighed walking over to him.

"I said to not be weird" I said dragging him back over to the kitchen.

Jisoo giggled as she walked over to me.

"Minji is mine Jimin, you can have her back when I've gone to sleep" Jisoo said grabbing her hand and pulling her back towards her bedroom.

"See, even your daughter can work out that you like her" J-hope said.

I covered my face as I blushed bad.

"Guys stop" I whined.

"She is so pretty. I approve" Taehyung said.

"I am not after her in that way" I snapped removing my hands from my face.

"Now can you all please leave" I groaned gripping the kitchen counter.

"Sorry Jimin" Taehyung said walking towards the door.

The rest of them followed him.

I sighed as I sat down at the bench alone.

Why can't the others see that I am not over Aera?

I don't think I ever will be over her.

Or maybe I just don't want to be over her?

Am I scared to fall in love again?

Yes, I am.

I am scared to finally love someone again and then lose them again too.

I am scared to go through that pain again.

The pain is still ongoing from the first time.

I don't think I can take two lots of this pain.

I sighed hearing a door creak closed knowing that I was no longer alone.

However I didn't look at her but I knew she was their.

"You look shit"

She said sitting down beside me at a bench seat.

"Was that supposed to make me feel better?" I said making eye contact with her.

She shook her head.

"Want to talk about it?" She asked.

"I barely know you, why would I tell you" I said turning my attention back to my glass of water.

"Get to know me then" She said.

"I don't want to" I said getting up from my seat.

"Now please leave me alone" I snapped heading towards my bedroom.

I saw her in the corner of my eye as I closed my bedroom door.

She seemed shocked, but what does she expect?

She's here to work, not here to be my friend nor crush.

Ugh, not even my crush.

I need to stop thinking of her in that way.

Taehyung has put words in my head god damn it.

I sighed sitting down with my back against the door.

I looked at the picture of Aera on my desk.

"What would you do if you were here, if you were me? Would you attempt love with someone else? To see if it even fixes your heart? God what do I do..." I said quietly feeling tears prick my eyes.

I cradled my knees to my chest.

I could fire her?

No, she treats my daughter well.

And Jisoo seems to like her even in a different way then she liked Seulgi.

Minji seems more carefree and happy whereas Seulgi was strict.

Maybe she likes her gentle nature?

I got up sighing.

I sat down at my desk and started reading through my schedule and work that must be done.

I am going to be busy tomorrow, so I should be distracted from my feelings about her then?

My stomach started to rumble.

I checked the time, it's 11:15pm.

It makes sense why I am hungry.

I've almost been staring at my schedule for 2 hours, but that's also because I am still thinking about Minji.

I opened the door and raised an eyebrow as I approached the kitchen bench.

Their sat a plate of food and a note.

The food smelt so good.

I quickly took it and heated it up in the microwave then read the note.

I have left, I understand you don't want to get to know me so I will leave you alone, however I am always here if you want to talk to someone that doesn't know much about you or if you want a friend. I made you dinner in case you were hungry, and if Jisoo is hungry when she wakes up, I put some in the fridge. Goodnight Jimin, see you tomorrow ~ Minji 11:00pm

I was a bitch to her and she made me such good food? Why?

Maybe... Maybe I shouldn't be so rude to her.

She did say friend, not lover or anything.

I can make a new friend, can't I?

That's not taking Aera's spot in my heart.

So what if my friendship with her blossoms into something else?

I doubt she even likes me in that way so it's worth a shot to be her friend and then maybe I will decide to have her more then a friend after, I will have to see how it goes.

I know Aera isn't coming back so maybe I should just give love one more chance. Loving isn't easy, but it's worth a try... Right?
