Manik is not the person to show off his feelings or emotions. He don't even show them to himself. He just feels it, talks what he feels and wants talk with not tag lines no extra words nothing long conversation he puts things in simple words and simple sentences. A person of straight forward and very focused on what he want. He is stubborn like mountain which can't be broken into pieces even after many strokes. No body knows who is Manik until they saw Manik talking about his love Nandini. Yes Manik from childhood is very simple boy and down to earth what he wants and how to achieve them is very clear for him. He never ever choose short cuts for life. He never fear for anyone or anything.

Raj and Nyeonika were always surprised by Manik's behaviour from childhood. He is calm happy smiling always composed satisfied with what he is provided with. Being a child born with golden spoon he got so many comforts but he never felt them more than necessaries. He learnt cooking he cleans his belongs and room, he respects servants, he helps them as if they are his family.

Nyeonika always tries give him more and more luxurious but Manik never utilized them but never hurt his mother in refusing them he just smiles. Raj made him to take comforts and tried put him in society of high class but Manik used take a silent place and make him comfortable himself. He never mingled with that show off class

Parties used to be not his cup of tea still he never refused them. He used mingle with people smile talk about whereabouts and businesses with smile and sits in corner. Even with friends he is same. He used to go on tours, hang out with them, going to movies, going on rides every thing But habits??? He never even tried any of them. He feels they are false illusions for the definition of happiness

Geetha is naive, easily manipulated and lazy girl Mamatha is very complicated, self cantered and self obsessed stubborned and cunning girl. Manik loves them a lot always tries to make Mamatha understand her mistakes with sweet and calm tone by not making her get hurt. Both sisters love Manik as he is always their saviour and only one who understands them totally.

Manik life till now is a cake walk, working hard is never a problem for He feel it as cake walk. He never felt insecurity about Nandini, he knows that he went her being already married, the society rules or talks, never came in his mind only fact is Nandini saying Yes is important after that or for that he is well prepared.

Manik is a man of words and putting it in actions in all means. With in six month Manik made about two lakhs by doing some over shifts. This six months are like hell to him. Passing seconds are making him desperate and impulsive about Nandini. His mind and heart are making him go weak and scared.

When he was about to take leave and go back to Mumbai Ajith got heart attack. Manik admitted him in hospital and took his care called family and maintained his work. When his wife arrived he so wanted to give all responsibility and go back but seeing her in vulnerability state Manik couldn't. Ajith got bypass operation over two months Manik has to stay back.

When Ajith was recovering Manik came back. Since from four months Nandini is picking his call. Daily he is calling but no one is picking it. Manik is worried to hell but having no option he composed himself and stayed there to fulfill his target so this time he won't get any excuse from Nandini

Manik went to Nandini house directly from airport, to his shock the house Nandini used to stay was occupied by some other one. They said they don't know the address. That was it for Manik to break down. He went home and locked himself in room for a day saying he is tired. No one disturbed him.

After a day passed Manik got call from cabir saying he is back in Mumbai. Manik is happy. He want to meet him but not in mood to go and meet his mind is fully occupied of Nandini.

Next when Manik was on dinning table with parents on random topics they where talking the topic Geetha friends cake which flashed Manik that cabir wife navya is Nandini's best friend he left food like a jet ran out of not even bothering that he is best and track pant. He took car and went to cabir house.

When Manik entered cabir house,they were having breakfast seeing Manik both welcomed. Manik came in took navya hand and said "where is Nandini navya please say?"
Both are shocked
"Why are you asking me?"
"Not important just say the addres"
"Ok she is at her grand MA house for delivery?"
"What? Is she pregnant?"
"Yes"
"How many months?"
"7months"
"O my god o my god o my god!!!!!!!!!!! Navya where is she? I mean address" Manik's desperation growing high
"First say why? A full answer of for it" navya smelled some fishy
Manik without any hesitation or thinking spit that all to navya.
Navya slapped Manik tight. Cabir shocked, Manik smiled "thank you very much navya you love her a lot"
Cabir and navya looked at him with more shock
"Are you mad? Insane or any alien? I slapped you dam it" navya shouted
"Navya calm down your health is most important"
That is when Manik looked at navya, she is standing with baby bump. Cabir made her sit
Manik sat on knees infront of her, "navya! She needs me. I want her I beg you navya please tell me her address"
"Manik what have you done do you have any idea???? She is married to Ravi you are saying that you are father to the kid? Asking me address???? Think Manik Malhotra you have two sisters if at all Geetha is in same situation as brother will you allow some random guy claim all this dirty shit and allow you to talk to her??? Impossible Manik Malhotra it's just impossible. I won't"
"I beg you navya please"
Cabir took a deep breath "navya!!!! Manik is not any casinova or any flirting guy, he is man of words, he was one who gave me money to make Alya marriage, he was one who explained me to get rid of all the shit I created after my dad's death. He never in his whole even looked down the girl I really mean it in spite being a Greek god to all girls in college he never looked even neck of any girl. That man is now saying that he love a girl and even claimed her means she is everything to Manik please give him chance for my sake I owe him a lot navya" cabir spoke with pain
"Still still Cabir I cant she is pregnant she needs happiness not stress, I the place where she is now is a village she can't take all the shit now, you are insisting so wait for six months Manik once she is back with baby I will talk to her and will give you her address"
"More six months???? Navya here I am unable to even take breath for a moment you are asking for six long fucking months how?"
"Manik is pregnant she needs some one to help her she needs mom and grand mom, think Manik you bringing her from her family can make lots of drama stress if being her back too, think how can you handle her at this stage? You are a man strange to all this you can't handle them so let her be there in peace for some time after delivery she will be back with baby then we will think about all this"
Manik looked at her with pain
"Manik she is right let her be there it's just a matter of six months" cabir is trying to explain but he knows Manik is stubborn like a mountain

Manik stood up kept his hands on hips took deep breath shook his head "still navya I need to see her once talk to her once confirm that she is Ok I beg you" his face is so red
Navya looked at him "do you really love her?"
"Yes Yes I do"
"Then think once she is in stage where she need to be pampered happy always laughing throwing tantrums making her all wishes fulfill craving for care and love need support both mental and physical at this stage of her you want to see her and talk to her, she might be happy for a moment but all the time she will be in stress what you will do what will happen next what is her and her baby future and all possible problems do you want that??? Is this love? Is that what you want a stress and tension of her life now?"
"No no no never not even in dreams"
"Then it's clear I am writing address here you decide what is best for her" navya took a book wrote address and kept on table closing the book
Manik looked at it his eyes turned red Nandini's face came infront the way she cried when she him first on their last encounter he shivered a little closed his eyes for a moment.
"Can you at least say how is she now? Can you give me information daily that she is well??? Can you make me assure that she will be all right for this six months I will go back to Delhi when she returns I will come back I will take her with me this time please for god sake can you make this on my stand?"
"She is fine healthy, she is ok I will give you information when ever you call me, go back to your work once she is back I will inform you sure"
"Sorry navya at this time and phase I troubled you, I am sorry extremely sorry take care I didn't bring anything for you but I bless you with healthy child and happiness" Manik smiled hugged Cabir and looked at that book took deep breath and walked away.
Manik sat in car cried for sometime and went home. At night he travelled back to Delhi.
