Walking along side your buddy Seigram, you yawned as he continued to talk.

"Are you listening to me?" Your cell mate cut himself off to glare at you.

"Uh? Oh, yeah. You saw a hot chick on TV and want to date her."

"Not even close." He sighed. "I was saying you should just quit with your constant flirting already."

You grabbed his shoulder, "Hey, I know I'm not mr.prince charming but I can get him."

He shrugged your hand off before making his way to your usual lunch table, "If you say so."

You were gonna follow behind him when lime green hair caught your attention.

"Hey guys! Seitarou just told me Hajime's birthday is coming up." Nico ran to his friends excitedly.

"So he's getting older." Uno made a comment.

You watched as they conversed.

Well, you watched Nico.

The excitement and joy in his eyes, his happy body language, his voice so full of life.

"So perfect." You smiled lightly.

He then looked your way.

You ducked out of sight. But then an inmate kicked you in the rear to get you into Nico's vision.

"Ow!" You held your bottom. "Jackass!" You 'flipped the bird' to the inmate before turning towards Nico.

"Please, forgive me for my rude behaviour." You smirked, walking up to Nico.

"That's okay." Nico smiles up at you.

'Don't blush stupid.' You tried to get yourself to keep your cool.

"So, I couldn't help but over hear something about Hajime's birthday. You gonna do anything for him?" You raised an eye brow.

"Give him hell." Jyugo replied with a smirk. Rock and Uno high fived each other as Nico cheered.

"I wasn't asking you, you useless-"

"Nothing. Just talking to myself." You raised your hands defensively.

The curiosity in his eyes. Oh how you loved that look. He looked to full of wonder, as if a new world has opened up to him and he's wondering if he should explore.

"You know Nico, my birthday was a few days ago." You spoke.

"Oh? I didn't know that. Sorry I couldn't do anything for you." Nico frowned.

"Nah it's alright. Never too late to receive a gift. As a matter of fact, the perfect gift would be you." You smirked.

Nico only laughed. "(Y/n), you're so funny."

It seems Nico has finally caught onto your feelings. He hasn't said anything to turn you down yet so their was still a chance he was into you.

"Stop it." He mumbled with a red blush and large smile.

Hajime then shouted over to you.

"Get back to work no.8!"

"Ugh! Hajime! I'm trying to pick up Nico here! Do you mind!?"
