Hajime x Reader: Stupid pt.3

A week. It's been a week.

She hasn't shown up for a week. It left him more angry each day. Is she thinking this through? Is she seriously risking losing her job just to avoid him? Or maybe.....

......what if she already left and he hadn't realized it?

Flashback

"Hajime! Can you help me?" A first year called.

Hajime turned away from the box of decorations and sighed. "You should grow more." He comments, grabbing the little plastic snowman in her hands.

(Y/n) pouted, "Quit picking at my height you, you..." He raised an eye brow in amusement as she tried to come up with an insult.

"You stupid cow! I hope you loose all your fluffy hair." She pouts.

His brow twitched.

How dare she!

She knew his blonde locks are his best feature!

He could ignore the 'stupid cow' comment but the hair? No way!

"What did you just say?" The third year went after her.

The (h/c) haired girl yelped and tried to run off. Not like their is much space to run in. The club rooms pretty small. Could fit about five people in here before it's too crowded.

He grabbed her sleeve and here's her back. His foot hit a chair behind himself and they both kinda fell.

"Ah!" They both shouted, getting ready for impact.

It didn't hurt that much.

(Y/n) opened her eyes and they widened. She felt herself sweat and blush madly. "H-hajime?" Her voice wavered.

Said male pushed himself up and just now noticed the position. He tensed and blushed.

One of his best friends lay on the table beneath him, as he pinned her down. Her legs were around his waist, making his area...uh...be right there. It didn't help that the skirt had lifted up slightly from the fall.

He gulped and stared down at her. She stared back. Their heart beats sped up. Both swore that the other could hear it.
(Y/n)'s eyes glanced around awkwardly before widening. The sight made her blush harder.

Hajime followed her gaze and looked up above.

Hanging above them, is mistletoe.

He quickly looked back down at her. Feeling bold, he smirked and leaned down.

"Hajime?" Her voice only a whisper.

He places a chaste kiss to her cheek. The teen blushed harder-if that was even possible.

"It's tradition." His reason.

The girl stares in awe before smiling.

"Then my turn." She gripped his shoulders, bringing him down.

But she didn't aim for a his cheek. No. Instead, she went right where it felt right.

Their lips met and didn't ever wanna say goodbye.

Present

After that day, they acted like nothings happened. The rest of their days have been the same, pretending it never happened. Well he did at least.

It didn't mean anything to him. After all, it was mistletoe. It's traditional. Even if it was one of his best friends, he didn't mind.

Every once in awhile, when that memory resurfaced, he would tell himself that he's glad it wasn't one of his guys friends. Even more glad that it wasn't a stranger.

It's always a relief when he thinks about it. How he's glad that it was a girl he's comfortable with.

His eyes widen.

As quick as he could, he dropped the files before running out and towards an elevator that goes up to the roof.

It wasn't because it's a girl he's comfortable with. It's because it's a girl he likes. No.

'A girl I love.'

He got to the elevator and waited impatiently for it. As soon as the doors opened, he rushed in and pressed the button to where he needs to go. Again, he waited impatiently.

---On the Roof---

Leaning against the railing, you took in the fresh air.

It's calming. The breeze is nice too. The sun setting was beautiful. And the waves is really captivating. The colours from the sun hit them beautifully. The sky looked so beautiful that you even reached a hand out.

"If only I could touch the sky and capture it's beauty." You wondered out loud.

"You should grow then."

The deep voice made you freeze.

You lowered your hand and gripped the rails. "Hi." You whispered shyly.

"Hey." He does the same.

You looked back out at the view and just stared. His footsteps came towards you, making you tense and bite your lip.

"I'm sorry." You whispered once he was next to you.

He looked down at your smaller figure and didn't say anything. His silence urged you to continue.

"I'm sorry about what happened. And I'm sorry for calling in sick for a week. I'm just..." Your voice pitched and wavered. A shadow casted over your eyes as you shook. The grip on the railing tightening.

"I'm just..." You tried again.

"I'm just scared." You sobbed.

Hajime frowned. He moved closer to you and hugged your tightly. "It's okay to be scared."

You cried into his chest.

Oh how he hated it when you cried. But he also couldn't help to love it. He loves to hold you. You fit perfectly against him, and he always uses it as an advantage to really trap you in a hug. Almost like he's protecting you. That innocence and fragile behavior made him feel warm inside.

His strokes on your head calmed you down. You sniffled. "I'm just scared to face you again so that's why." You whipsered.

He stopped and kept his hand behind your head, the other around your waist.

"I'm scared too." He spoke.

You looked up at him with teary eyes. "You are? But why?"

"Because I thought you were gonna leave me." His grip on you tightened. It didn't hurt though. It was more comforting really.

"I'm need to ask you something." He pulls away from the hug.

His gripped your hands between his own. "I want to be a family with you."

Your eyes widen. "Huh?!"

"I know it's sudden!" He pulls you closer, never letting go of your hands. "But I really do wanna spend the rest of my life with you. And I don't mean that as an always be my best friend sort of way. I want to proudly call you my wife. I want to you to be the mother of my children. I want to grow old with you and spend the last of my days with you. I just want you in my future as my partner in life." He rests his forehead against yours.

Your eyes water as tears fall freely.

"Hajime..." You looked down. After a moment, you met his gaze again with a smile. "Yes. Please make me your bride."

He smiles and leans in. You do the same. The gaps closed.

Your lips met once again, and this time, they're never gonna say goodbye.

Well...it's not like they haven't. Just a break. Yeah. A long break.

But now, they will always meet.

A beautiful ending.

Stupid stuff had to happen to end up here, buts it's fine. Sometimes stupid things can lead to something wonderful.

---Extended Ending---

"Hajime..." You whispered.

"Well?" He hovers above you.

You blushed red but nodded nonetheless. You smiled, touching his face, running your thumb over his scar.

"Please take me." He then leaned in.

He reached behind you, and unzipped the wedding dress.

Hopefully in nine months, your family will extend.
