Enki walked down the hallways of building 5. He had just arrived back from a meeting with the warden and all he wanted to do was rest.

However, lately that was never possible. True, he does like to train to get his skill level up but lately he feels like he's being watched.

Taking a seat in his chair, he looked around his office. It was just him. Ruka had the day off. His brother is in a meeting with the other deputy supervisors. The Daisen brothers are out for lunch. The other guards were working. Just him.

Getting to finish up the last bit of the days paperwork, he kept getting chills down his spine.

"You sense me huh?" You said.

He didn't reply. He didn't even hear you.

You were used to this. You could go anywhere, be as loud as you wish but no one would hear you or see you. How could they? You're dead.

Running after Enki, you came to a stop in front of him.

Watching as he glanced around, you saw how he narrowed his eyes.

"Are you getting iratata?" You ask with a smile.

Eyes widening, you watched as he glowed blue.

"He's meditating." You stepped back, getting ready to take off.

You knew this was dangerous. If he found out about a dead girl, following him around, he would get freaked out and be more on edged.

Sprinting, you cried, "Why couldn't I just wait for him up stairs. I'm only putting him on edge."

The next thing you knew, you fell onto the floor.

"I hate this chain. I thought it was supposed to be a red string?" You mumbled, looking down at your anckle.

A chain wrapped around your anckle, traveling all the way down to Enki's anckle.

After your death, before you could enter your after life, an angelic voice told you,

"Remain a wonder of the earth. Your to watch over your soul mate."

It wasn't long after that, were you found the man at the end of the chain. Enki Gokuu.

Shaking your head, as if to rid of the memory, you stood back up and watched as his eyes flashed open.

"I'm sorry." You called over to him. You knew you bugged him. You knew how irritated he got at the constant presence. You knew how much he wanted you gone, even though he never knew who you were.

"I promise it will get better." You smiled softly.

Placing a hand on his arm, you felt him relax at the touch.

In shock, you asked, "Are you calm now?"

As usual, without receiving an answer, he quietly made his way down the hallway.

"It isn't so bad, inmate no.65." He spoke with a smile.

You gasped. He knew. He knew.

You died at Nanba Prison. There was a prison riot in the mess hall. You got caught up in the middle of it, trying to escape. You ended up tripping over something, and got trampled by the numerous big inmates.

At the time however, Enki wasn't the supervisor. He was still working at a different prison, in china.

"I don't get it...how do you know..?" You asked queitly.

Enki only smiled. He might not be able to hear you. He might not be able to sense you. But, something he can do, is sense what's around him.

"Rest in peace, (Y/n) (L/n). The precious inmate Nanba has ever had."

With that, you disappeared.

"Enki!" You called.

Enki turned around.

The area is so beautiful. Soft green grass, bright blue sky, a nice breeze. It was...so calming. Something he hasn't felt in such a long time.

Upon locking eyes with you, he stared with wide eyes.

Smiling brightly, you laughed gleefully. Your wide dress flowing beautifully with the wind.
"I finally get you meet you!"
