Juliana said.

"Okay, it's the girls fault..I mean look at the way she dressed, it's clear that she came from a village".I replied.

"I don't mean to insult you Nana but when you first came here, nobody could tell that you came from a village cause you were smart,neat and intelligent.. you know even some village people have some sense of fashion you understand?"
"That girl just doesn't have it"

"Can you imagine, she wore a white...no I was once white off shoulder with a very short red skirt then wore a white.. sorry I was once white computer socks (that long primary school socks that has holes on it) with brown sandals plus the hands of her bra was very dirty,she must have worn that thing without washing for straight two weeks...hmm that's not all o... come and see make up like masquerade,she drew her brows like tooth pick plus the foundation she used is not her color,her face was orange,her hands were orange and brown while her legs were black real black mcchew this Caro white no do her well at all"

I just stared at Juliana with my mouth open.
"Juliana.i called
What? she asked.
"You have finished that girl".
I replied.

"In case you are asked to write a descriptive eassay ahbi?"I asked her and we both Started laughing before we told the Keke driver that we had reached our destination.

I took my purse, opened it and brought out two hundred naira note to give to the Keke driver.

"Madam my money na five hundred naira oo"
The Keke driver told me.

"Five hundred what??"
"Thunder fire you there, mcchew... we bargained for one fifty and now you want to change mouth abi?"see this is my town, infact I was born here don't come and be telling me nonsense just because you brought us from there to here you are saying five hundred, you better wake up in case you are dreaming because I don't mind emptying a whole bucket of water on your dump brain you think we have farm money that we will carry five hundred and give you.........."

"Juliana Juliana it has do .
I stopped her from saying any more nonsense cause she spits anything when she gets upset.

"Allow me to finish this yeye man with his dead old Keke that is moving like chameleon so that next time he will know who to play with" she replied as she started unbuckling her black sandals.

What is this girl now doing?
I mentally asked myself as I saw people coming towards us.

I was about to get the five hundred naira when Juliana grabbed my purse away from my hands.
"What are you doing?"she asked me.
"Giving him the money of course"I replied.
"You are mad... don't you see that this idiot wants to smartly steal from you,he is a thief".

"Did you just call me a thief?"
The man asked her.
"Yes and what can you do?"
She asked him.

"What is going on here?"
A voice asked.

"Thank God you are here"I said to my boss before I narrated the whole story to him.

He removed a clean one thousand naira note from his pocket and handed it to the Keke driver but before the driver could collect it, Juliana grabbed the one thousand naira and replaced it with a five hundred naira note before pushing it into the driver's hands and as if that was not all, she picked up her shoes with the other hand and dragged me into the house with the other hand.

"What the hell was that?"I asked as soon as we were inside the house.
Instead of answering me, she started to laugh.
"I don't know either,the man just pissed me off she replied.

Hmm!were you truly going to fight him?I asked her.

"Fight who?"am I mad...no o
I was going to .... she starts laughing again before speaking up.

"I was going to punch him,drop the two hundred naira there,drag you and run away na.. that was why I removed my sandals,I was preparing to run "she replied.

I laughed and laughed before replying.
"All this super hero you were showing was just for form, unknown to me that your heart was pounding hard you your chest.... Juliana you are very silly you too like money".I said to her.

"It's not about the money, you know we could even ask him to keep the Change but we bargained for one fifty and when he saw fine house.. boom his village people now advised him to change his mind. I wanted to show him that he is not as crazy as my village people cause my village people don't change their minds and luckily enough for him,fine boy appeared".

"Mummy called and said I should come home and help her with the Christmas preparations I'd be living this evening. I really want to stay with you but I don't have a choice after all this is not our family house... you know?"
She said.

"I understand you Juliana. It's totally fine with me besides I'll be visiting everyday it's going to be as if I'm home, don't worry about me".

"I'll be worried about you,why should I not be, when you will be all alone in this big house with fine boy".

"Stop calling him that ".I corrected.

"Stop calling him what?"fine boy,
Isn't he fine?she asked.

I laughed before replying,"fine boys are monkey's".

That's a cliche.i know.

"I don't care just stay away from him"she replied.

Woah! Woah! Woah Juliana be calming down".I said as I patted her back.

"Which one is be calming down?"
"You know,men cannot be trusted"she answered.

Someone cleard his throat before replying to Juliana's statement.

"Trust me, your cousin is in good hands".

"I don't trust him"Juliana whispered.

"I heard that"he replied.

"No, you didn't you didn't"she answered.

"Yes I did"he replied.

Someone seems to be in play mood today even though he plays with everyone but me.

This  chapter gave me though time.
I was just thinking of what to write and my head remained blank but not until I started typing.😉
