The Dee day is here.

I was just shifting my eyes from one person to the other not finding the exact words to tell them.

You see, Dad wants to make me do what I don't want to do.our dad wants me to get married while I don't.if I stay here,I and our dad will always be fighting because we don't agree with each other and people will laugh at us.

Good so u see big sis has to leave in other for us to have peace in this house.i promise to buy you guys lots and lots of of gifts when coming back but on one condition.......what is it sis we promise to do anything you say they both chorused.

My mom and sisters accompanied us to the motor park.i know that all of us are just proving strong head.nobody wants to start crying and that's great.we don't have to be the cry babies everytime.i think we are beginning to chew bones.
As we waited for the rest of the passengers to arrive.
Come my mum said as she drew me to the side.i got a new phone toooo this is my new phone number Nana she said giving me a piece of paper with the number on it.i could not get you one because there wasn't enough cash.just make sure you call me if you have any problems.you can make use of your uncle's phone okay.yes thanks for your concern mum.anything for you my darling she replied.ok enough of the side talk the bus is full my uncle called our attention.

We had a group hug with my mum and sisters.ok time to go.
Nana my mum said one last time.

Yes ma I replied.a word is enough for the wise.tears were welling up in Mima's eyes.

I went into the bus, took the space besides my uncle and waved goodbye to my family as the bus began to move.

What should I do to keep myself busy.......I brought a book out to read.it wasn't working, tried a conversation with my uncle,I got tired of talking, tried looking out of the window, still not working.
I really want something to distract me..soon enough,I started yawning aha just the perfect idea Uncle, can you please wake up when we reach Numan?sure he replied.

Numan is a local government in Adamawa State.i've actually heard allot about the place and I knew we were going to pass through there.just want to see for myself.even if it's just a glimpse...

Wake up sleepy head we are in Numan my uncle said.
I swept my eyes open immediately.cant miss this for anything.

The place was busy, noisy and lively as I expected.hmmmm
The people here are hard working from what I see.
Is it true that the people here prefer pork to every other meat?I asked my uncle.
Yes he replied but those who love pork are mostly the bachama people they occupy the largest space here in Numan.i can say that Numan is the bachama people's local government my uncle explained. Wow that's nice.

We came to a bridge popularly known as the Numan bridge.
People were fishing,swimming, playing, bathing etc.whats the difference between this people and fish I asked myself.they are not even afraid of this big water.

As we proceeded futher to the middle of the bridge,I also noticed that the water in the river has two colours.ohhhh my God.two different rivers flowing together and they don't mix?????what the hell.
God is really a God of signs and wonders.
Uncle,I called out yes he answered.why is it that the water don't mix?I asked.nice question Nana but you see,ever since I was born nobody has ever told me the reason why the two Rivers don't mix.even if you fetch them differently and put them in the same cup,they still won't mix.it has always been that way.hmmmmmmm interesting I said.Nana do you know that they also contain different species of fish???I was like uncle wetin be specie again......I mean different varieties of fish Nana ohhhh ok
Now I get.the fish in the brown water cannot survive in the other river that looks muddy that's what I mean.really uncle,I exclaimed that's amazing.
Any reason for that I asked my uncle.i can't explain that either
Ask your science teachers when you get to school..... thanks for the explanation uncle.hmmmm nature is beauty indeed.
