Nana's POV.

You asked for me sir
I announced my presence when I arrived at the sitting room.
He then turned around,kept his iPhone on the table and motioned for me to come sit down.

I walked briskly to the chair opposite he's and sat down.
He then faced me,put his hands on his chin and kept staring at me.
I began to feel restless,I began to sweat and suddenly,I began to feel the urge to want to ease myself.
What's up with my boss today?
He actually looked serious and his face held no emotions..... what did I do?I kept asking myself.

Your Principal called.
She said that you wanted to switch class because you earlier reported to her that you couldn't cope with the science class is it true?he asked me.

Yes it is true I replied.

Why?he asked me.
Sir?I stuttered.
I said why?he asked again.

Sir I just realized that I really don't belong there.
Science class is more of calculations and I seriously don't like calculations especially too much of it.
I prefer reading, reading and more of writing with less or no formulas to cram I finished.

Hmmm he sighed then picked up his iPhone,put his legs on the table and kept quiet.
He kept tapping on his phone screen and completely forgot my presence.
I tried to look at him but I failed because I could also feel his eyes piercing through my skin.
I really can't stay here for long cause I might start to melt.

So  emm you decide to change class on your first day at school baby doll who does that huh?he asked me.

The baby doll something is back.
He was scaring the shit out of me because of the serious look he had but now,he really wants to annoy me I thought to myself.

Look here darling, you better be serious and know what you want.
Do what you know how to do and do it best.
No other person should beat you to your own game.
You should be the best there will ever be and you should be the first in everything hope you understand huh?he asked me.

Yes sir I replied.
He smiled at me then said I could leave.
I stood up to leave when he called me back saying he needed a glass of water.

Who is this guy?
First,he scares me then he annoys me and then begins to say things that make sense.
He doesn't talk too much neither does he talk less.
He just says what he wants to say and that's it.
This is not the same guy who nearly......

Nana what are you doing?
The voice made me jump out of my thoughts.....
I errr I stuttered.

I asked you to get me a glass of water and you are just standing here.
You have not even reached the kitchen..... what is wrong with you? My boss asked me.

I.....I....I stuttered again.

You know what just leave I'll get it myself he said as he moved towards the kitchen.

No sir I said as I started running towards the kitchen but my race was brought to an end when I stepped on water and I slipped.
I expected to hit the ground very hard to an extent that my bones will hurt but.....that didn't happen at all.

I opened my eyes to come face to face with those cute brown ones staring  straight back at me..
My heart decided to quicken it's pace at that moment and my eyes decided not to blink at all...
My lips also decided to part but there were no words coming out of them.
I tried to move but damn my feet for they were frozen and not even on the floor but in the air.
My hands also found safety by clinging onto the helm of his shirt very thightly the butterflies in my stomach decided there and then that they should be activated....
Everything suddenly stopped moving ........I couldn't take my eyes away from he's for they held so much emotions which I knew nothing about.

I thought things such as this were and are only bound to happen in movies?
I sure am not an actress I have to stop this.
Err sir can you please put me down?
I pleaded innocently.
Ohh I'm sorry he replied as he dropped me down.
I sighed then went straight to the fridge to get a bottle of water then I took a tumbler poured the water and handed it to him.
All that I did without sparing him a single glance.
I felt embarrassed for the whole incident.
Why do awkward situations always occur in the kitchen?no other kitchen but this same kitchen and it's always with my boss.....I so hate myself right now.

I picked the mop and cleaned up the area where the water was spilled...
Who ever spilled this water and forgot to clean it has really done a good job.

Why are you always in your head?
The question popped out of my boss's mouth.

I don't know I answered without looking at him.

Hey look here he said motioning for me to look at him.
I looked at him then he smiled and said"forget anything ever happened here okay"
I don't like it when you act cold towards me he said.

Okay I replied but in my mind,I knew I'll never forget.
How can I forget?
What is there to forget when nothing happened.

He stood in front of the counter while folding his hands on his chest and his eyes on me.
I tried as much as I could not to stare back but my eyes were saying...hey you can't decide for us what we want to see.
He looked hurt... like there was something he was hiding, like there was something he needed to say but he wasn't saying.
I tried to read the emotions on his face but the page was blank for I couldn't place a word.
What's wrong with him?I battled within myself.

Our heart to heart was brought to an end when we heard loud arguments from the backyard ..

I looked through the window only to see my cousin having an argument with ... Julian.

Julian and Juliana where having a heated argument by the swimming pool.
My eyes went wide when Juliana pushed Julian into the water.
This two would never
get along I thought much I said to myself before running out of the kitchen.
