Nana.

I woke up to the sound of someone coughing into a microphone.....as in ehhh why would someone cough into a mic?
I wasn't angry because a Muslim brother was calling for prayers but I was upset because he repeatedly kept coughing and it woke me up like.... Argh who does that?

I shifted in bed and then I felt the softness of the bed I was lying on.
Too soft I smiled.
I placed my hand beside me but it was empty so I started rolling until I got to the other side of the bed.
Where am I?
Then it downed on when I recalled that I was with James yester night which means that I'm practically at the Alexander's.
How come I don't recall how I got to this room?
I checked my clothes and they were still on me then I sighed.
Someone didn't take advantage of me.
I'd never sleep in a car again mcchew I hissed.

I dropped from the bed then walked to where I thought the wall will be got it.
I placed my hands on the wall and kept walking to where I imagined the switch will be.
Luckily enough I got it too and as soon as I got my hands on it,I switched the light on.

Now this room looks familiar..yes it's the room they once told me was mine.
Too much for a house help.

I walked towards the bed then noticed that the bed sheet had the picture of a little girl staring at her reflection in the water.
There was also the reflection of the sky with the moon and stars in it.
The bed sheet was navy blue and it felt very very soft and so was the duvet.
I got to my feet bent across the bed and began straightening the sheets.
"A good way to start the day, make your bed first".
Soon enough I was done then I watched my surroundings closely.
There is nothing feminine about this room ahh If,I would stay here,I'll have to transform this into a girl's room.
What's today?Monday
I chuckled then walked into the bathroom and I was glad I did cause I found everything I needed.
A new toothbrush, toothpaste,new sponge,soap, shampoo, deodorant, antiperspirant,conditioner, and even a body lotion.
Great cause I can't find my belongings then I took off my clothes and stood under the pouring shower.
In my house,I don't use shower I thought before I chuckled what an irony of life.

Soon I was done and just as I didn't expect,I turned to see a brand new towel lying on the counter in front of the mirror.
How do I know that it is new?
It was still in a leather and it smelt very knew so I tied it around myself and walked out of the bathroom.
Hmm you live with rich people what do you expect?

Now I don't know were my belongings are and apparently I'm the only one awake.
I can't go around in a towel and I can't wear the clothes I just took off cause I slept in them.
I sat on the bed wondering what else to do.

I kept some clothes in the wardrobe came a voice that nearly made life jump out of me.
Sorry I came in unannounced she said as she laughed at how scared I looked.
A very good way of showing you missed me after a long time I said as I breath heavily.
Is that why you want to fly?she asked.
Thank God that I want to fly cause if someone walked into your room the same way,I'm sure you'd  disappear I replied.
Babe chill I just heard movements from my room so I came to check if you're doing fine she said.
Yeah next time remind me to lock my door and take off the keys I replied as we started laughing before she hugged me.
I missed you as in this house has been soo boring and annoying without you.
She dragged her words and I smiled then replied missed you too.
Alright get dressed up it's past five already I and Julian would be late for school.

Errrm are there  any inner wears in there too  I asked while pointing towards the wardrobe.
Yeah everything is in there she replied as she opened the door to leave.
Wait I stopped her.
How did you know my size?I asked.
Well actually I didn't James did she said then walked away with this smirk on her face.
Last time I recalled there was an A.C in this room so I walked to it and put it on cause I suddenly began to feel hot in the room like I was getting choked.

Now everything gets more awkward should I be grateful or is he just being an annoying rich boss?
What do you expect, you work for him durrh came the voice in my head.
Sure I work for him enough for him to know the size of anything I wear? That's lame and a sign of disrespect...gosh what am I saying?

Before seven, Chelsea and Julian had left already after I made a breakfast of tea and bread cause the kitchen was also empty.

I  was so glad because today unlike other days when he snubbed me..
Today he hugged me as a sign of saying welcome back.
He looked so happy and relieved while me on the other hand was like what's up with this guy?
At least this house will begin to look normal he said then pinched me on the chin and walked away not after he winked at me.
Wow I've never seen Julian behave this way.
This is a side of him that I want to see more.

Not some Julian that keeps running away from me as if I knew his deepest secrets..

I walked outside to be met by Adams who was watering the flowers.

I yelled.

No I am on my way I replied as I rolled my eyes.

Adams when will you stop calling me madam and call me Nana like everyone does?I asked him.

So how does that concern me I asked.

I walked in to find James sitting alone with a very hard expression on his face.
This doesn't look good cause I wonder why someone would be upset early in the morning.

I'm very sure he was among the bad boys squad in secondary school and hell  yeah he had girls swooning over him.
Who wouldn't?he is a rich kid with the sexy body and dohpe face perhaps with brains,yet still held his shoulders high how come my mother didn't see this?
She must have been blinded by those puppy cute eyes he gave that day but not me cause I won't fall for any of it..

Nana why are you always this way?the question made me come back to my senses before I shifted my gaze.

I've been talking all this while and you didn't even notice my lips moving cause you have been looking at that painting on the wall he said as he pointed at the painting right behind him.
I felt like saying hell no I was busy gawking at your ugly self but I know I'd never say that so I kept my mouth shut.

Anyways I was saying that school has resumed and today is Monday but since we are not prepared,I'll do everything today,we will go get the school materials and you resume school tomorrow.
Really?I scrunched my eye brows.
Why am I not sad?

It's because I want this too.
I just realized how much I missed being in school, having friends and being flogged by annoying teachers.

Impress ke?I won't waste time impressing someone that cannot be impressed so no way cause I don't even know how to start impressing someone like him...rich, proud and sophisticated.
This one is just asking me to kill myself for him.

There was absolutely nothing eatable in that kitchen cause even the fridge was empty.
What's the point of being rich when you can't buy common food stuff for your stomach?rich people and their wahala.

He was not smiling at all cause he looked like he could punch me if I tried to say anything stupid.
This is my A.T.M card he said as he slammed the card on the table and this is your transport fair he said as he dropped a thousand naira note.
Withdraw any amount and get whatever you think is needed in this house.
Look everywhere,take note of anything that is missing in this house and make sure you get it.
I don't care if your going to the market or super market just make sure my card doesn't get lost.

I just imagined some one giving me an A.T.M and tells me to withdraw any amount...ahhh it's either the account is empty or the card is expired 😂😂😂😀 but not in all cases.

Who else noticed James mood swings? the guy is an idiot.
One moment he is smiling, the next moment he becomes scary.🤣🤣🤣
