I really had no intentions of going out to look for her but the more I tried to forget her existence,the more I saw her in my thoughts.
I became restless, confused and helpless.
What the hell is wrong with me?
I've never wanted something so bad in my life talk more of going after it.

I briskly walked to my car while offering her mum a ride home.
At first she declined saying the house was close by but I had to persuade her to come along with me so I could drive her home.

Nana and two younger girls which I assume are her sisters
Due to the resemblance, said they had allot to clear up but they'll come right behind us on foot.
I knew she didn't want to be anywhere near me...I don't blame her.
I was all bad ass on her the first day we met.
I screwed up from the very first start.....I guess I have allot to make up for.

Just turn to the right and we are there her mother pointed out.
Okay ma I answered before turning to the right.
You can park there she said pointing to the frontage of an old building.
Soon enough I had parked and her mother was already out of the car before I could offer to help open the door for her.
Don't worry..
I'm fine she said as she made her way to open the door belonging to the compound.
Come in  she offered and I obeyed.
She opened the door to the house offering for me to come inside but this time around,I said I'd be fine outside.
Okay let me get you a chair she said as she walked towards a brown old wooden bench.
No no it's fine I can get it I said as I quickly went to grab the bench from her hands.
She simply smiled at me and said okay... make yourself comfortable I'll be out soon she said as she walked inside.

I kept the bench, brought out my handkerchief, cleaned the bench and sat down.
As I sat quietly,I couldn't help but take note of my surroundings.
Is this where she lives?
She also has two sisters.
Where is her dad?
Does she have any brothers?
How do they manage to survive in a place like this?
But one thing I noticed with her and her mom is that they both look beautiful and well packaged.
The younger ones not excluded.
One would hardly believe that her mum is married and has three daughters to look after.
Another thing that amazes me is how they behave.
From the outside, you will hardly know that they are struggling cause they are all smiles and laughter.
What's up with this Nana of a girl that I find myself wanting to know more about her?

Someone would think I killed her father.
Soon she walked towards me with a small tray containing pure water and a canned malt.
She smiled at me but I knew that the smile was not from her heart.
Here sorry we don't have cold water hope you can manage?she asked.
Never mind I'm not really tasty I replied.
She silently kept the tray and walked into the house.
Immediately, her mum came out with a plastic chair and sat in front of me.

When I saw the serious look on her mother's face,I couldn't find the words to use and worst of all,my voice betrayed me.

As you can see she is a young beautiful girl growing up.
I don't want to expose them to the dangers of our present society.
All I want is to be able to protect and provide for them until they become independent women.

I could feel her mother's pain from where I was.
If I were in her shoes,I'd feel the same way she feels about giving my children to someone I barely know.
Now I began to wish I never came.
If you ask me how I got here? it's a long story.
One thing I'm sure of is that if I didn't come, I'd regret it.

She was once hit by a car her mother declared.
At the mention of that,my heart leapt and once again,I started to sweat profusely.......

What if she died? what if my daughter didn't make it?

The rascal didn't even stop neither did he give a glance to the poor girl fighting for her life her mother told me.

I couldn't take it anymore.

I kept sobbing and this time around,her mother was the one comforting me.
I've never imagined crying in front of anyone apart from my family but here I was
being comforted by the mother of a girl I almost got killed.
