Namjoon had daydreamed about this moment for months, nine months to be exact.

His expectations were of him being a fumbling fool, just like how the expectant fathers are in the films and shows.
He was collected, directing Hae for the easiest way to get them both to the hospital.

Hae too had daydreamed about this moment, she was unsure what was going to happen honestly.

"Okay Hae, Sit there. I will get the hospital bag, is there anything else we need? You need?"
"Your hand." Hae whimpers. Namjoon squatted next to her, slipping his hand into hers "I'm here, breath baby." Namjoon whispers.
Hae released her breath "Are you going to be okay for thirty seconds Hae? While I get the hospital bag?"
"Please hurry. I still need you."
Namjoon kisses her forehead "I will be quick."

Hae pets Kibbles who has jumped on the couch next to her "We will have our daughter next time we come home." She says. Kibbles licks her hand.

"I'm back, let's go. Do you need help up baby?"
Hae held out her hands, Namjoon understood and hoisted Hae to her feet "This is it Joon."
"This is it, I love you Hae."

"I think we should call the boys. They wanted to know when I went into the hospital Joonie." Hae commented. "You think we should? How about-"
"Too late. I told them already." Hae stuck out her tongue. "So we are going to have a parade from the boys." Namjoon frowned. "They will be waiting in the waiting room, I asked Jin to control them."
"Like he can control those boys. But okay, if you want them all there, then they all can be there."
"Thank you. We still have not discussed her godfather Joon. You know who my pick is."
"We will ask him once she is born." Namjoon replies. "I do not think we should worry about her godfather, not when she is ready to come see the sunlight."
Hae did not mention the talk of godfather the remainder of the drive to the hospital.

"Joon, Joon, please pull over!" "What? Hae why?"
"Joon! Pull over, I am going to be sick! Pull the car over!" Namjoon pulled over. Hae opened her door, vomiting into the grass. Namjoon rubbed her back "This is a normal side affect of being in labour."
Hae coughed, the last of the bile spat to the ground "That was fun." She cringed.
"In the consul I packed gum, have a piece Hae. Actually let me put that in your bag."
"Gum is suppose to help during labour too. Gives me something to focus on." "That's right. Are you okay?" "Let's go. I am okay, for now."

Namjoon pulled into the hospital parking lot "We made it." He commented. "We are here Joon. Within hours, we are going to meet her. We will see how beautiful our baby girl is." "We will see her after these nine months of my awesome wife carrying our daughter. How can I ever say thank you for doing this for me?" "By getting me into the hospital." Hae replied. "Of course. The boys told the hospital we are on our way there, your room will be ready." Hae nodded her head "That's nice of them. Now please, get me out of this car." Namjoon opened Hae's door, pulling her up. He reaches for the hospital hag, swinging it over his shoulder.

"Hi, uh my wife is in labour. Kim Hae is her name." Namjoon told.
"Hyung! Hae!"
Hae waved at the boys who all stand by her side now "How are you feeling?"
"Decent, at the moment." Hae answered. "Back off of Hae." Jin warned. "Give her some space." Jin takes Hae's hands "We all will be giving you good vibes from here. Fighting Hae."
"I will keep you updated. And you do not need to be here the entire time. Babies can take a while to be delivered." "We are here Hyung. Now go!"
As a nurse assists Hae into a wheelchair the boys began chanting 'Namjoon Appa!'

Namjoon helped Hae change into the hospital gown as Doctor Ju stands in the room, ready to check on Haes progress.
"Sorry it took so long Doctor Ju." Hae apologized.
"It's okay. Now, please if you will get comfortable on the bed. I need to check how far your dilation is."
Hae scoots onto the bed, taking Namjoons hand "Well looks like your baby is impatient. You are at six centimeters Hae."
"What! How can it be happening this fast?" Hae questioned. "Will my contractions now become painful?"
Doctor Ju removed her gloves "Your contractions will now come in more current cycles. Remember to breath, and if you can, get some sleep."
"I'll make sure Hae is comfortable Doctor Ju, thank you." Namjoon shakes her hand.
Namjoon turns on his heels to see Hae leaning over the railing of the bed, her face contorted in pain.
He walks over, slowly loosening her hand on the railing, instead holding her hand "Keep breathing. A few moments of pain, for a lifetime of loving our daughter." Namjoon whispers.
"A few moments of pain, for a lifetime of loving our daughter." Hae repeated. "That's right. Breath, breath."
Hae exhaled "It ended." She says. Namjoon kisses her forehead "I am proud of you baby."
"I have not done anything yet."
"You have done more things than I will ever be able to imagine babe. Now, come on, you should try to get some sleep."
"Will you sit behind me? Please Namjoon, I want you." Namjoon squeezes himself behind Hae, his hands cupping her bump "Try to sleep baby. I will be right here."

Namjoon wakes as Hae hissed "Oh fuck. Hey in there Mi-Hi." She scowled.
"What what happened?" Namjoon asks.
"Your daughter decided to give me hell of a kick. It was worse than a contraction!"
Namjoon moves his hands up and down against Hae's bump "Hey in there baby, how about you focus on coming out. We both want to meet our daughter!"
Hae grunted, her eyes closing "Keep breathing Hae."
"I. Am." Hae replied. "Get the Doctor Joon." She added.

Namjoon returned with Doctor Ju in tow behind him "Hello Hae. Namjoon says you are experiencing frequent pain." Hae nodded "These are worse contractions than before."
"How about I check you out? And we can make a plan." Doctor Ju puts on her gloves, and pulls up Hae's hospital gown "Oh well. Hae, looks like your daughter is ready to be born. Let me get the nurses, and we will start soon."
Doctor Ju hurried out the door, leaving Namjoon and Hae.
"This is like the last step." Hae whispers. "Oh my god, I am not ready to be a mom Joon! I am so frightened. What if I do something wrong as her parent? Namjoon, she deserves a better parent than me." "She Exactly deserves you as her parent. As her mother, as her mentor, as her friend, as her role model, and as someone who will love her. You are so ready to be her parent. You became her mother the moment you found out she was inside of you. You have nurtured her, comforted her, and have loved her. I believe in you, I am so sure you are going to be a wonderful mother to her. And if this is helpful, you will not be alone, I am here too. Although you will have to save me more than once with her. We are new parents, there is no guide. We will raise her as we see fit. You are going to be wonderful, I see us feeding the ducks, playing on the slides, eating ice cream, and the giggles from her, knowing she is growing up in a house that is filled with love. And her uncles, Hae, those boys they want to be the best uncles. I know they will be. I trust them, as I trust you. Now do you believe me Hae?" "I do." Hae nodded. "Let's have this baby."

Namjoon per Hae's request, sits behind her in the bed, holding hands "Okay Hae, on the next contraction, go ahead and push. We will count back from ten, give you a rest, then back to pushing. Can you do that for us?"
"I can, and I will. Let's get it." Hae agreed.

As the nurse was counting back, Namjoon was whispering reassurance to Hae "You are doing it. You are doing it, keep going! Push push! Push out our daughter! Go go!"
"Dollar, Dollar." Hae sang. Namjoon kisses her cheek "Only you during this time would sing one of my songs Hae."
"You are crowning Hae, keep pushing!"
Hae bares down, her chin on her chest, and pushes "This hurts." She cries. "It will all be over soon, a few moments of pain-"
"For a lifetime of loving our daughter." Hae finished.
"That's right. I love you, you are doing the greatest! You are so great."
"Okay Hae, one last big push, and she will be born. Give me all that you have left."
Hae tightens her grip on Namjoon, and pushed.

"Your daughter is born!" Doctor Ju holds up the newborn. "She's perfect!" Hae sobbed.
"I told you that you could do it. And you did! Look that is our daughter."
Hae turned her head up to kiss Namjoon "Our daughter."
"Look whose ready to meet mommy."
Doctor Ju positions the baby on Hae's chest "Hi Mi-Hi, you are beautiful. Namjoon, look, she's ours."
"Hi princess. I am your daddy." Namjoon whispers.

Namjoon walks into the waiting room to see the members. Jungkook stands up first "Namjoons here!" He announced. The members all stand "Well Joon?"
"She's beautiful." Namjoon croaked.
"How is Hae?"
"My family is doing well." Namjoon beamed. Yoongi pulls him into a hug, which quickly was brought into a hug surrounded by all the members "Our leader is a father of a beautiful little girl."
"Do you want to meet your niece?"

Namjoon leads the members into Hae's room, where Hae is sitting in bed, daughter in her arms.
"Mi-Hi, look it's all of your uncles. Can you say hi?"
The boys stand around Hae's bed "Hi Mi-Hi, we promise to always protect you."
"We know you will. That's why Joonie and I want to ask you all something."
"Will you all do us the honor of being Mi-Hi's godfathers? I trust all of you to take care of her if something was to happen."
"You can say no boys." Hae added.
"Of course we all accept this! We are honored you asked us."
Namjoon smiles at everyone "That is a relief."
"Enough Of the serious. Who wants to hold Mi-Hi first then?"
Hae positioned the baby into Taes arms "I'm Uncle TaeTae. I am so happy to finally meet you Mi-Hi." Tae introduced.
Hae watched as Tae rocked the baby, and the boys surround him "He loves her so much Joon."
"They all do Hae."
Hae rests her head against Namjoon's shoulder, her eyes closing. She was asleep. After all she did just give birth.
