Naruto had been sitting in his room silently looking down at his hands, he hadn't talked to his Tou-chan since they teleported away from where the Kyuubi was. He had heard his Kaa-chan talking to him briefly and he tried to talk to them but she sent him up to his room to rest, not giving much thought... but now he heard a small amount of talking in the other room, it sounded like the conversation was growing louder and louder... Naruto had no idea how he was able to distinguish some of the words as he swore his parents were a few rooms down from his.

"What... Talking... Minato? Naru... Fine." He couldn't entirely make out any sentences and he decided to get up and placed his hands over his ears... how could he hear so well... what had happened to the Kyuubi... His mind was overflowing with questions before he looked up, his world stopping in an instant as he saw his eyes glazing back at him... they were the eyes that belonged to the Kyuubi, red slitted eyes that stared back at him.

Naruto lightly placed his hand on his cheek where small bloodstain streaks were dried up against his face and he shuddered to himself and lightly grabbed the door handle from his room and slowly opened it, walking into the hallway that connected most of the rooms he walked into the bathroom and quickly turned on the faucet to clean his face from the blood that was from his eyes. He scrubbed and scrubbed and he seemingly sobbed... what had happened to his face, why did it hurt so much...

He looked up and in the reflection of the mirror, he hoped that the eyes were gone, but they weren't... they stared back with the same red hue that was in the Kyuubi... his birthmarks seemed to be deepened as well... He heard the conversation in the other room stop and he heard small footsteps walking towards his direction... he lightly stared down at the pool in the sink and the door to the bathroom opened... Naruto didn't move... he only stared down at the orbs that hauntingly stared back.

"Naru-chan..." He had heard his Kaa-chan whisper and he saw a drop fall from his face and into the water... he was crying now... "Kaa-chan... what happened to me?" He sobbed as he looked up and Kushina stifled a gasp, this was the first time seeing her son's changes as she was so busy dealing with Mito's seal check and health check... She slowly approached her son and slowly wrapped her arms around his form. "Shh, it's okay Naru-chan... just a... unexpected change in the sealing..." She whispered making him sniffle into his mother's embrace.

"S-sealing?" He asked briefly making her smile grimly and pulled away to give him the said smile. "Your father had to seal the Kyuubi away, he gave you the soul and body of the Kyuubi and your Imoto the chakra..." He sniffed and slowly nodded his head in understanding. "S-So they w-wont change back?" Naruto stuttered as he looked at the mirror and she shook her head, "No sweety... I don't think they will." Naruto looked down but she lightly held him again and moved his red hair out of the way where the seal was on his neck and gave it a small look and a sigh in relief.

"Naru-chan, I have to ask you to never try to communicate with the Kyuubi, because there is no chakra he won't be able to do anything to you, but he can still try to talk to you." The boy looked up in confusion, "B-But he didn't seem bad anymore..." Kushina frowned briefly, she had known of his sensory ability to feel emotions and others from a young age... he had been able to pick out some Anbu who had been ordered to watch him when he was a baby, the baby had wanted the Anbu to pick him up by waving his arms in the direction where the Anbu was hiding.

Kushina's thoughts drifted to the masked man and then back to the Kyuubi, having to interact with the beast a few times in her life... "I know... but just so he doesn't become mean again, okay Naru-chan?" Naruto didn't understand much of her reasoning but nodded slowly. She lightly kissed his forehead before smiling at him. "Okay, now let's get you to bed, Want you to rest up as much as you can, Mito might take a lot out of all of us." Naruto giggled, knowing how babies tended to be seeing a few in his young life.

"Okay, Kaa-chan." He lightly put his hands up and Kushina picked him and gave a small groan, "I think your growing on me Naru-chan, your so heavy." Naruto gave her a look that made Kushina grin, "I'm big!" Naruto had replied as they walked into his room and she lightly placed him on the bed and tucked him in. "I know you are, and you have to be to be a good big brother." Naruto smiled happily before she went over to his door and flicked the light switch, "Good night Naruto, Love you." Naruto slowly sat up before she could fully close the door.

"What about Tou-chan?"  Kushina tensed before she frowned to herself, as she turned her frown turned into a forced smile, but with Naruto's sensory ability he was easily able to pick out her turmoil. "He is the Hokage Naru-chan, he has to inform the village with what happened." Naruto slowly nodded his head with a frown. She slowly walked back towards the edge of his bed and gave him a hug, "I'll do this for your father since he is so busy right now." Naruto smiled slightly feeling the warmth back before she pulled away, "Good night Naruto." She had deepened her voice slightly making Naruto giggled and put his head on the pillow as she walked away and closed the door.

While Naruto was closing his eyes to get some sleep, Kushina was thinking back to the conversation she and Minato we're having...

"Kushina, I botched the seal! You have to go look at it for yourself, something is wrong with Naruto." Kushina had given him an odd look, "What are you talking about Minato? Naru-chan is fine."  He slammed his hand down on the desk "He isn't fine!" that was when the yelling started. "Naruto is gone because I thought he could be strong enough... I was wrong." Minato turned and began walking away, "Where are you going!?" Kushina shouted while he turned, "To mourn my son... and Inform the village of what has happened to the Kyuubi, the hero Mito Namikaze." 

Kushina's eyes were wide as Minato slowly shut the door and she shouted in frustration before walking towards the hallway...

Kushina sighed to herself as she looked out of the window where she saw many citizens of the village going towards the Hokage tower where Minato held Mito to himself, she opened the door slightly and walked out of the house, she was fairly far but close enough to hear what he was saying. "Good people of Kohonagakure, this was a terrible night of loss, many ninja had been killed In the delaying of the Kyuubi, and much damage was done." Minato held his head low briefly, "A time to mourn is not needed however as I was able to seal the Kyuubi into my daughter." His statement had Kushina frown in confusion before the next thing almost set her off.

"I sealed the Chakra into my daughter while placing the soul and body away untouched, my daughter is my Jinchuriki, the human sacrifice, but untainted by the Kyuubi's maliciousness!" Kushina turned around and started walking back home, she needed time to think... "He never did say where he put the body and soul..." She paused slightly as she looked towards a few people who seemingly were gossiping, "Could it come back, it's size alone would destroy us!" 

Kushina gritted her teeth and continued her walk, "I get it now, Minato saw what had happened to Naru-chan and thinks the Kyuubi is possessing him, with access to chakra he would be a threat again, but he's wrong... I know he's wrong..." She stopped at her door before shaking, "Please be wrong..."

This was the plan, I'm sorry whoever was disappointed over Minato, but I think it's more cliche to use Kushina as the hater and not Minato, technically Kushina is an Uzumaki, she'd have more of an idea over seals then Minato.
