It was so silent when it happened... a chill ran up everyone's spine but didn't think anything of it... some shook it off, some had covered themselves with a blanket... Naruto Namikaze looked up at the sky in curiosity as a cloud of smoke appeared above him, in shock he stumbled back as he was only a few meters away from a giant fox with nine tails that seemingly appeared out of nowhere. As Naruto was trying to get his bearings he was instantly picked up by a familiar silver-haired teen. 

"Kakashi-Nii," Naruto whispered slightly as Kakashi hopped from building to building as he looked down at the slightly squirming child. He appeared next to another teen with black hair and red eyes who seemed to have a kunai out, shaking briefly feeling the menacing chakra washing over the entire village. "Kurenai!" Kakashi shouted as she snapped herself out of a brief shock, "I need you to take Naruto." Kurenai looked down at the blond briefly but Naruto shook his head.

"Where's Kaa-chan and Tou-chan! She has my Imoto-chan in her belly! I want to go to them!" Naruto said with a shout, a small tear leaving his eye as he looked up Kakashi. "Your Tou-chan is gonna be just fine, he is the Hokage, don't worry-" "What about Kaa-chan and Imoto-chan!" He asked making Kurenai flinch briefly. Naruto gave a glare as she hesitated before he sat down in a meditation stance. "N-Naruto it's not safe, get up!" Kakashi ordered in a tone that made Naruto flinch briefly before he opened his eyes.

He got up and looked up above the Kyuubi... smiling slightly, "Tou-chan." As soon as he said that a giant cloud of smoke appeared above the fox and dropped the giant toad boss and pinned him down. Kurenai looked at the little redhead in a small amount of shock before Naruto pointed towards a house not too far from them. "Kaa-chan is over there! can you take me to her?!" Kurenai looked down at him who seemed to be so determined, not a hint of fear reaching his eyes...

"This kid... how is he not shaking as badly as I am..." "Do it Kurenai... as long as he is safe." Kurenai looked up towards her superior and nodded her head dumbly before grabbing onto Naruto, "Hang on to me Naruto-Kun." Kurenai whispered as he did as was instructed, jumping from rooftop to rooftop, as soon as she touched the ground Naruto squirmed out of her hold and ran into the home they had used from time to time, Naruto briefly looked towards the dagger hanging from the ceiling before looking at his mother who seemed to be clutching something close to her. 

"Kaa-Chan!" Naruto shouted as Kushina turned slowly, "Naru-chan..." Clambering up to her briefly as she lightly placed her hand on his cheek, "You must be brave Naru-chan, can you do that for me?" his mother asked as Naruto had tears briefly in his eyes before he shook it away, "Hai! I will Kaa-Chan!" Naruto's blue eyes slowly moved to the blond little baby that was being held next to his mother, "Mito-chan?" He asked curiously making Kushina give a small laugh at his curiosity and nodded her head.

A brief crash made Kurenai flinch seeing the reuniting of the family was touching but the Kyuubi was struggling against the toad, Naruto didn't seem to move while Kushina seemingly smiled slightly at that, briefly glad that he was being strong for his Imoto. In a moment though the shaking stopped, Kurenai looked over only to see the Kyuubi was gone... in a few more moments a flash appeared in the house and Naruto turned around with a big smile, "Tou-chan!" 

Minato Namikaze felt the breath he was holding and sighed in relief that his son and mother were just fine, Mito seemingly lightly squirming, "Kushina, I need Mito and Naruto." Naruto tilted his head in confusion before Naruto's eyes widened briefly, having a small idea. "No! I won't let you make them a Jinchuriki!" Kushina shouted making Naruto look down at Mito who seemed to be snoozing. "It's the only way Kushina, your body is too weak, Naruto." Minato got on his knees to be eye level with the boy, "Can you be brave with me and help your Imoto?" 

Naruto's eyes shined in determination before nodding his head, "Hai Tou-san!" Kushina tried to get up but Naruto looked towards her with a small smile, "Don't worry Kaa-chan, everything's gonna be fine! I know so!" Naruto smiled with determination while Kushina briefly paused as his eyes before Minato placed a hand on both his wife and son who was holding onto Mito. "Bye Kurenai-chan! thank you for bringing me to Kaa-chan!" Naruto smiled brightly before they were enveloped into a flash.

Naruto blinked briefly, still not entirely used to that before he felt a presence behind him, he saw that the Kyuubi was beneath the toad who was pinning him down... but Naruto frowned... his eyes were different... and his chakra felt calmer... "Kaa-chan, Tou-chan, he seems different." Naruto pointed at the fox but Kushina lightly brought him closer and seemingly looked at the Kyuubi who didn't seem to be struggling. "Minato, he seems to have worn out, you should hurry up with the seal." Minato nodded his head at his wife while Naruto took a step away from Kushina while the Kyuubi's eyes slowly landed on the boy.

Naruto's eyes didn't waver, instead, his blue eyes looked at him curiously, blinking as he did, the fox seemingly blinked back before Minato grabbed his hand. "Naruto, I know you will be strong enough to do this, you are our son after all..." Minato stated as he lightly sat him next to his sister who was now on a bed with candles around her. "I want you to close your eyes and do not open them until I give you the word..." Naruto did as he was told and nodded his head.

Minato nodded his head before looking up at the Kyuubi, performing a few seals before the beast's eyes closed, had he given up? Minato couldn't fathom what was going through the foxes mind before the beast was slowly turned into an ethereal red wisp that flew straight into the young babe's belly region before a glowing seal of a spiral laid... lightly tapping the seal Minato slowly brought it towards Naruto who still had his eyes closed before lightly placing it on the boy's head where a spiral etched itself into the back of Naruto neck... what surprised him though was the boy's hair seemingly grew, possible to hold the body and soul of the Kyuubi, he was forced to grow.

Naruto whimpered slightly at the stinging sensation before his eyes shot open before he seized up, looking up at the sky, his eyes started to morph... something Minato or Kushina did not expect before Naruto's mouth opened wide before a scream bellowed out, his eyes were bleeding and Kushina tried her best to get up but with her extraction of a bijuu and a baby, she couldn't seem to do much at all. Naruto brought his hands up to hold his head as he felt the sticky warm blood soak his hands. "T-Tou-chan! IT hurts!" Minato lightly placed his hand on his son's head to soothe him, the pain was not expected... perhaps he expected too much of his son...

after a little while, Naruto slowly became still, the squirming was still present, shaking from being afraid? or because of the pain... "T-Tou-Chan, is it done..." Naruto whispered as he had his eyes closed tightly. "Yes Naruto-Kun, it's do-" As he was finishing his sentence Naruto opened his eyes and looked up at his father... the blond tensed as red slitted eyes stared at him, his whisker that had been on his face was now deeper, much deeper which made Minato visibly tense...

"T-Tou-chan?" He asked as the blond lightly got up, removing the blond from his embrace and began walking towards Kushina, "Naruto... come." Minato gave a small wave while Naruto timidly nodded his head, "Tou-chan is tired, I know it..."  Naruto thought to himself before he paused to himself as he opened his mouth and felt his k9's, they seemed to have gotten longer... and he felt like his sight was better... Naruto shook his head briefly before he went over to his mother and sister with his father.

"Come... we got an announcement to make..."

Alright! Part 1 of the Namikaze Prodigy is done! I have so many ideas here! Which I will tell you right now :X, I suggest reading it all, please!

Main Pairing- ItaNaru! most likely... It may change but I was thinking of writing this as I was curious to see how I would do on my take on the pairing, maybe even something else if anyone has anything in mind.

Other Pairings can be decided by yall, like Mito? Who will she end up? Will she be a brat? Will she wonder how her brother seems to be an outcast? 

Minato and Kushina neglect?- I thought about this and my thinking is... Minato having his reasons but Kushina tries her best to include Naruto... If ya like this idea do tell.

and One last thing, I have an idea of doing this but I think it might be a little odd to write in some ways, Naruto is going through some changes... red eyes... sharp teeth, whiskers... Should I give him a fox tail and ears? I'm leaning towards a no, but I wanted to leave out here as an option for all you... fluffy readers who like reading fluff literally and metaphorically.
