Peace and Blessings of Almighty Allah(ﷻ), be upon our beloved Prophet Muhammad (ﷺ), his blessed descendants and his noble companions.

السَّلاَمُ
05.AS SALAAM

●TRANSLATION

• The Bestower of Peace
• The One who is free from every imperfection.

●MEANING:

• The One who is perfect, whole, prosperous and content.

• The One who is the source of all peace, wholeness and safety.

• The one who is free of imperfections, free of faults and free of error.

■HOW TO LIVE BY THIS NAME?

1. Submit

• Surrender to As-Salaam so you can be secure. If you submit to Islam - you will get Allah's salaam.

2. Be patient in trials.

• No disaster strikes except by permission of Allah. Show patience and perseverance in hard times and As-Salaam will give you peace inside, your heart will have salaam, a feeling of well being, serenity, and peace.

3. Spread the salaam.

• The Prophet (ﷺ) said:

"When two Muslims meet (give salaam) and shake hands, they are forgiven their sins before they part"

-(Abu Dawood)

4. Supplicate after prayer

• When you finish your salah, supplicate as the Prophet (ﷺ) did with:

"Astaghfirullah (3 times).
Allahumma antas salaam wa minkas salaam, tabaarakta yaa Dhal Jalaali wal Ikraam."

[I seek Allah's Forgiveness. O Allah, You are As-Salaam and from You is all peace. Blessed are You, O Possessor of majesty and honour]

•Right after your prayer you should amazingly ask protection and safety from the mistakes committed during the salah.

May As Salaam Grant Salaam upon all the believers and grant us tranquilty and peace within our hearts.

Jazakum Allahu Khairan.

"سُبْحَانَكَ اللْهُمَّ وَبِحَمْدِكَ، أَشْهَدُ أَنْ لَا إِلهَ إِلَّا أَنْتَ، أَسْتَغْفِرُكَ وَأَتُوبُ إِلَيْكَ"

'Glory be to You O Allah, and with Your praise, I testify that there is no God (worthy of worship) except You, I seek Your forgiveness, and I repent to You.'
