A fifteen year-old freshman shot and killed four people before taking his own life. The student texted seven of his friends to sit at a certain table during lunch. Right before the shooting he sent out a message to them and their families saying he was sorry for what he was about to do and sent plans for his own funeral. The kids did not have time to see this and sat at the table. The shooter preceded to walk over and shot his friends in a "calm, methodically way". It is also said he looked at each of them as he shot. A teacher tried to subdue him, but he ultimately shot himself in the head. About 150 people were inside the cafeteria at the time and many fled in panic for safety. Three of the people sitting at the table were actually cousins of the victim. Also the gun used had been illegally purchased by the shooter's Father along with several other firearms.

Zoë Raine Galasso, 14-Died on scene with a single gunshot wound to her head.

Zoe was loved so so much by her family and her genuine and caring personality was one of her best traits. She loved her family and her group of friends, she loved live concerts and music, and enjoyed going on road trips. She spread her delight and happiness as far as she could.

Shaylee Adelle Chuckulnaskit, 14-Was not immediately identifiable upon arriving at the hospital. Died on week later from a single gunshot wound to the head.

Shaylee was very outgoing, confident, silly, persistent, fearless, and she mirrored God's forgiving ways. She was also a fighter with spirit and had faith that could move mountains. Shaylee loved her sports. She played AAU Marysville Select for a few years and for Totem MS this last year. Shay also played volleyball for Totem MS.

Gia Christine Soriano, 14-Died two days later from single gunshot wound to the head.

The wounds she and Shaylee received were severe to the point where they were not immediately recognizable. She was pronounced dead two days later. Her family donated her organs and her cousin received her kidney. The young girl was looking forward to learning how to drive and hope to be a veterinarian.

Andrew Fryberg, 15-Only victim shot twice, died two weeks later. One of the gunshot wounds were to the head.

Andrew Fryberg, the cousin of the shooter, died two weeks after the shooting. He was extremely outgoing and friendly. His family was large and Andrew deeply cared about all of them. Described as athletic, he excelled at everything he tried. People wonder what contributions he would have made to society and are sure they would have been wonderful.
