A seventeen year-old who had left school due to bullying shot an killed a sixteen year-old boy in the parking lot of the school. Supposedly it was in self defense when several boys surrounded him and looked to beat him up, as they commonly had. Instead he shot one of them and ran. He surrendered to police later with no resistance. The younger boy however, was shot fatally and died as a result.

A quick comment I have is that in the month of March, 2001 four school shootings took place, but only half of them were deadly. That is a lot.
