Shailene couldn't believe it, she couldn't, she just couldn't. After everything, all those nights spend wondering if she was going to life a happy life, go to college, maybe get married to the girl or man of her dreams. She was going to be fine, she had everything planned out, but it just took one letter, one, to destroy everything. She felt like vomiting and crying at the same time. Who wouldn't though, after receiving your death sentence.

She shut down, thinking about everything she was going to leave, her dad, the best father she could ever have gotten, her mother, oh god her mom, the one person who she told everything to, and finally, Lux, her dog, she was going to leave them and never come back, at least, not the same. She didn't even notice it, but she started crying, then rolled into a ball shape, wanting to die, well,she probably might. After a while, she fell asleep in the floor, thinking of all the good memories of her family. She had to win, she had to, it was the only way, but how can she kill people, especially people who have the same name?
