You looked down at Snowpaw from your perch on highbranch, and, for the first time, noticed how strong he looked. You remember Lakewing, your deputy, talking to you about when she assessed Snowpaw. She had reported back positively.

Maybe it was time for Snowpaw to become a warrior? True, he wasn't prepared for the ceremony, but it was fine. You finished talking about the gathering quickly, and looked down at Snowpaw again. You were desperately thinking of a name.

"And I have one more thing to do. Snowpaw, you have trained hard to understand and respect the warrior code. I call upon our warrior ancestors to look down upon this cat. I now give you your warrior name. From this moment forward. You will now be known as Snow-"
