personality | snakepaw's an extrovert, although "nice" isn't exactly a word to describe him. sure, he was kind when he was younger, but growing up he realized that he wasn't nearly as clumsy as viperpaw, making his skills much sharper. this didn't bother him at all - in fact, he barely noticed it, until it was pointed out by his fellow apprentices. only then, perhaps wanting attention and praise since he so desperately lacked it, snakepaw's personality began to shift into a ruder one, preferring to make new friends rather than hang out with viperpaw. as time went on, gaining more and more praise for his sharp skills, snakepaw realized that he could become the leader of shadowclan, and turn into the most admired cat in the clan, which was what he started to aim for. along with that, he was the only one out of the three siblings who noticed the medicine cat wasn't a proper parent figure, even beginning to lean into disliking her.
